worker_n and_o finisher_n of_o the_o true_a and_o living_n faith_n and_o of_o this_o faith_n be_v somewhat_o dress_v by_o the_o several_a opinion_n of_o man_n be_v all_o the_o unclean_a spirit_n live_v in_o whatsoever_o abomination_n be_v to_o be_v mention_v in_o the_o world_n all_o sect_n and_o opinion_n or_o whatever_o may_v be_v find_v in_o all_o colour_n in_o these_o northern_a part_n of_o the_o world_n with_o this_o faith_n they_o be_v cover_v and_o this_o be_v their_o strength_n and_o here_o they_o take_v comfort_n to_o themselves_o against_o all_o reproof_n within_o or_o from_o without_o though_o live_v open_o in_o the_o great_a wholedony_n against_o the_o spirit_n of_o holiness_n carnal_a or_o spiritual_a that_o can_v be_v mention_v even_o at_o a_o distance_n from_o christ_n in_o his_o whole_a life_n yet_o they_o believe_v christ_n come_v to_o save_v sinner_n of_o which_o they_o be_v chief_a and_o they_o that_o be_v whole_a need_v not_o the_o physician_n etc._n etc._n and_o so_o the_o great_a their_o wickedness_n be_v the_o near_a to_o christ_n they_o believe_v and_o by_o this_o faith_n he_o that_o come_v to_o save_v people_n from_o sin_n and_o to_o lead_v out_o of_o sin_n both_o by_o example_n and_o spirit_n be_v make_v a_o cover_n for_o all_o filthiness_n of_o flesh_n and_o spirit_n and_o to_o strengthen_v the_o heart_n of_o wickedness_n against_o the_o life_n of_o holiness_n some_o in_o one_o sin_n some_o in_o another_o but_o with_o this_o faith_n do_v all_o sort_n strengthen_v themselves_o and_o harden_v their_o heart_n against_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n and_o that_o spirit_n which_o reprove_v the_o world_n of_o sin_n and_o convince_v of_o it_o and_o will_v lead_v out_o of_o it_o and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o the_o witness_n of_o god_n that_o be_v holy_a in_o all_o be_v trample_v under_o foot_n in_o all_o and_o little_o regard_v in_o any_o but_o by_o this_o faith_n believe_v on_o in_o none_o to_o be_v the_o way_n to_o the_o father_n though_o the_o world_n have_v no_o light_n but_o it_o nor_o be_v there_o a_o promise_n of_o life_n in_o any_o other_o and_o this_o to_o i_o appear_v to_o be_v that_o faith_n of_o the_o devil_n or_o dead_a faith_n the_o apostle_n speak_v on_o jam._n 2._o though_o more_o harden_v in_o it_o against_o god_n fear_n for_o the_o devil_n when_o they_o believe_v tremble_v at_o it_o so_o this_o faith_n i_o leave_v be_v judge_v already_o by_o its_o fruit_n with_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n in_o every_o honest_a heart_n that_o love_v holiness_n and_o of_o that_o faith_n i_o shall_v speak_v something_o in_o which_o i_o have_v find_v a_o measure_n of_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n make_v manifest_a in_o my_o mortal_a body_n in_o which_o life_n alone_o be_v the_o true_a and_o eternal_a union_n and_o atonement_n with_o the_o holy_a god_n into_o who_o no_o unclean_a thing_n can_v enter_v and_o this_o be_v not_o a_o notion_n of_o what_o be_v do_v in_o another_o generation_n past_a or_o to_o come_v hundred_o or_o thousand_o of_o year_n distance_n but_o that_o which_o lead_v to_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o work_n of_o a_o new_a creature_n at_o this_o day_n and_o a_o new_a birth_n spiritual_o beget_v and_o bear_v and_o bring_v to_o light_n without_o which_o none_o can_v see_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n nor_o enter_v therein_o and_o this_o faith_n do_v not_o work_v by_o the_o comprehension_n of_o brain_n knowledge_n that_o because_o i_o can_v here_o conceive_v or_o declare_v of_o christ_n jesus_n from_o the_o begin_n to_o the_o age_n thereof_o in_o word_n or_o thought_n that_o therefore_o i_o have_v learn_v he_o or_o know_v he_o as_o i_o ought_v to_o do_v or_o be_o grow_v up_o in_o he_o to_o a_o perfect_a man_n and_o so_o to_o deceive_v other_o by_o and_o suffer_v at_o
this_o world_n and_o that_o which_o be_v to_o come_v and_o in_o the_o working_n and_o attainment_n of_o this_o live_a powerful_a faith_n i_o have_v find_v several_a measure_n according_a to_o my_o growth_n therein_o from_o the_o word_n of_o the_o begin_n of_o christ_n or_o the_o first_o principle_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o fullness_n age_n and_o stature_n of_o christ_n as_o betwixt_o a_o babe_n &_o a_o man_n grow_v in_o strength_n &_o much_o work_n in_o spirit_n i_o find_v betwixt_o faith_n receive_v of_o christ_n jesus_n &_o christ_n learn_v in_o i_o for_o though_o i_o receive_v the_o faith_n of_o his_o fullness_n in_o what_o he_o be_v at_o jerusalem_n in_o his_o flesh_n there_o at_o once_o yet_o have_v not_o i_o so_o learn_v he_o in_o spirit_n &_o life_n in_o my_o mortal_a flesh_n nor_o put_v he_o on_o at_o once_o but_o in_o the_o light_n of_o faith_n i_o see_v i_o be_v so_o to_o run_v as_o to_o win_v he_o before_o i_o can_v put_v he_o on_o wherein_o i_o come_v to_o see_v and_o know_v myself_o beget_v again_o in_o he_o by_o faith_n towards_o god_n who_o be_v the_o way_n to_o god_n in_o which_o way_n i_o come_v to_o see_v the_o beget_v of_o the_o father_n manifest_a in_o measure_n in_o i_o in_o the_o pure_a image_n of_o a_o holy_a child_n separate_a from_o the_o fleshly_a sinful_a seed_n or_o christ_n form_v in_o i_o as_o the_o scripture_n witness_v they_o be_v bring_v from_o under_o they_o and_o this_o be_v not_o do_v all_o at_o once_o but_o in_o order_n as_o he_o appear_v in_o the_o light_n to_o manifest_v every_o particular_a evil_n and_o as_o that_o faith_n i_o have_v receive_v wrought_v by_o love_n to_o he_o a_o consent_n in_o my_o spirit_n to_o his_o just_a judgement_n upon_o they_o and_o i_o make_v willing_a to_o give_v they_o up_o to_o the_o fire_n and_o to_o come_v out_o of_o they_o and_o join_v to_o he_o in_o the_o execution_n lest_o he_o shall_v consume_v i_o with_o they_o as_o it_o must_v have_v be_v have_v i_o stay_v in_o they_o and_o here_o i_o find_v the_o benefit_n of_o the_o light_n which_o go_v before_o his_o face_n to_o prepare_v his_o way_n and_o the_o salvation_n of_o faith_n which_o save_v i_o through_o hope_n of_o he_o that_o i_o be_v not_o destroy_v in_o my_o sin_n which_o faith_n and_o hope_n give_v i_o a_o entrance_n within_o the_o vail_n or_o a_o hide_v place_n in_o he_o while_o the_o indignation_n be_v over_o which_o be_v to_o pass_v upon_o the_o man_n of_o sin_n and_o so_o a_o voice_n be_v hear_v in_o the_o wilderness_n call_v out_o of_o sin_n into_o a_o way_n i_o know_v not_o but_o as_o the_o light_n of_o his_o covenant_n lead_v i_o in_o the_o spirit_n of_o elias_n turn_v my_o heart_n towards_o he_o that_o he_o may_v not_o smite_v the_o earth_n with_o a_o curse_n at_o his_o come_n in_o on_o every_o hand_n every_o foot_n the_o world_n which_o i_o be_v call_v out_o of_o ready_a to_o overtake_v i_o and_o compass_v i_o about_o and_o to_o turn_v i_o back_o again_o into_o what_o i_o that_o put_v he_o thus_o afar_o off_o which_o fill_v with_o all_o the_o fullness_n of_o god_n and_o by_o what_o i_o have_v learn_v this_o be_v clear_a to_o i_o for_o ever_o without_o any_o more_o controversy_n that_o the_o faith_n that_o admit_v of_o sin_n be_v not_o christ_n faith_n nor_o have_v
man_n make_v but_o with_o his_o own_o gift_n which_o be_v good_a and_o perfect_a in_o every_o measure_n thereof_o and_o this_o also_o i_o have_v learn_v in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o declare_v to_o all_o that_o seek_v faith_n in_o he_o that_o i_o never_o receive_v any_o measure_n of_o this_o faith_n of_o christ_n in_o vain_a but_o whatever_o i_o act_v or_o suffer_v therein_o from_o the_o least_o measure_n show_v the_o virtue_n and_o glory_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n but_o the_o feign_a earthly_a faith_n admit_v of_o some_o earthly_a thing_n in_o the_o heart_n for_o its_o end_n in_o love_n to_o which_o it_o work_v disobedience_n to_o the_o spirit_n and_o so_o come_v short_a of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n for_o it_o can_v hold_v forth_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o glorify_v god_n with_o a_o earthly_a lover_n in_o the_o heart_n nor_o can_v one_o faith_n serve_v god_n and_o mammon_n so_o he_o that_o love_v the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n be_v god_n enemy_n presumption_n for_o any_o to_o witness_v the_o life_n of_o christ_n in_o they_o by_o bring_v it_o forth_o into_o the_o world_n yet_o himself_o will_v preach_v christ_n in_o he_o and_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n in_o he_o and_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n in_o he_o and_o his_o body_n the_o temple_n of_o god_n etc._n etc._n because_o he_o find_v these_o word_n in_o scripture_n but_o if_o any_o worship_n in_o that_o temple_n so_o as_o to_o believe_v and_o obey_v unto_o life_n open_o that_o he_o can_v own_v without_o a_o meaning_n instead_o thereof_o and_o so_o he_o set_v the_o form_n to_o deny_v the_o power_n and_o christ_n word_n he_o wrest_v to_o deny_v his_o come_n and_o how_o long_o this_o faith_n have_v profess_v he_o to_o come_v and_o his_o life_n and_o glory_n at_o his_o come_n in_o its_o own_o carnal_a comprehension_n many_o may_v witness_v but_o be_v never_o like_a to_o receive_v he_o in_o the_o same_o life_n and_o spirit_n and_o power_n in_o which_o he_o ever_o appear_v and_o so_o to_o that_o generation_n be_v he_o ever_o to_o come_v but_o never_o present_v further_o than_o to_o make_v a_o cover_n for_o sin_n past_a and_o present_a and_o a_o encouragement_n for_o sin_n to_o come_v and_o thus_o the_o devourer_n turn_v the_o best_a of_o thing_n into_o a_o lie_n in_o all_o that_o believe_v he_o that_o he_o may_v keep_v christ_n and_o the_o soul_n from_o their_o handle_v the_o word_n of_o god_n deceitful_o use_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n to_o withstand_v the_o life_n of_o the_o giver_n and_o turn_v grace_n
into_o lascivious_a liberty_n and_o thus_o have_v i_o learn_v in_o the_o light_n of_o the_o world_n that_o in_o my_o turn_n towards_o he_o at_o his_o reproof_n when_o i_o know_v he_o not_o and_o believe_v in_o his_o light_n who_o i_o have_v not_o see_v i_o find_v that_o faith_n give_v which_o do_v declare_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n in_o he_o wherein_o he_o perfect_o walk_v upon_o present_a or_o to_o come_v but_o if_o he_o turn_v from_o god_n righteousness_n his_o own_o iniquity_n will_v rise_v and_o meet_v he_o both_o new_a and_o old_a and_o in_o vain_a do_v such_o believe_v they_o be_v then_o blot_v out_o of_o god_n sight_n who_o oye_n show_v he_o his_o way_n in_o which_o he_o then_o walk_v and_o condemn_v he_o for_o it_o in_o his_o own_o heart_n nor_o be_v the_o ghost_n thou_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o confess_v jesus_n lord_n over_o all_o power_n in_o heaven_n and_o in_o earth_n the_o opener_n of_o all_o secret_n and_o only_a revealer_n of_o the_o father_n who_o beget_v by_o who_o thou_o become_v wise_a in_o thy_o knowledge_n unto_o salvation_n not_o unto_o vain_a babble_n who_o word_n shall_v rise_v and_o condemn_v they_o who_o glory_n therein_o but_o be_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n and_o in_o that_o vessel_n be_v god_n on_o his_o throne_n according_a to_o the_o measure_n of_o that_o spirit_n set_v up_o in_o judgement_n so_o be_v jesus_n lord_n come_v his_o cause_n be_v not_o hear_v but_o be_v thrust_v away_o if_o not_o further_o ensnare_v because_o he_o can_v oppress_v that_o of_o god_n in_o he_o more_o either_o by_o bow_v to_o something_o of_o vain_a custom_n or_o worship_n never_o set_v up_o by_o god_n nor_o own_a by_o his_o witness_n for_o conscience_n sake_n or_o else_o because_o he_o can_v fire_v his_o judgement_n by_o feed_v a_o covetous_a spirit_n which_o be_v for_o reward_n and_o not_o for_o god_n that_o he_o judge_n and_o so_o the_o innocent_a soul_n be_v not_o relieve_v at_o this_o throne_n but_o send_v away_o as_o a_o of_o fender_n from_o that_o place_n where_o he_o shall_v be_v ease_v and_o justify_v with_o the_o judgement_n of_o a_o free_a spirit_n for_o justice_n sake_n do_v not_o that_o of_o god_n in_o you_o strange_a why_o so_o many_o at_o this_o day_n who_o have_v receive_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n in_o his_o lowly_a just_a and_o righteous_a spirit_n choose_v rather_o to_o suffer_v death_n under_o that_o spirit_n of_o this_o world_n then_o to_o bow_v to_o worship_v it_o or_o confess_v that_o due_a thereto_o which_o belong_v only_o to_o jesus_n the_o lord_n neither_o will_v you_o say_v it_o be_v obstinacy_n or_o contempt_n of_o authority_n rather_o to_o suffer_v by_o the_o will_n of_o man_n then_o to_o rob_v
the_o lord_n of_o his_o glory_n &_o deny_v christ_n in_o his_o kingly_a office_n and_o set_v up_o another_o in_o his_o place_n and_o herein_o true_a wisdom_n may_v see_v that_o in_o so_o do_v we_o resist_v not_o that_o power_n which_o be_v ordain_v of_o god_n nor_o the_o person_n but_o that_o spirit_n we_o testify_v against_o by_o suffering_n under_o which_o god_n never_o anoint_v for_o a_o
