these_o suffering_n and_o show_v also_o how_o these_o thing_n be_v to_o be_v also_o in_o every_o christian_a and_o that_o this_o liberty_n purchase_v by_o christ_n be_v not_o to_o encourage_v the_o flesh_n or_o to_o purchase_v liberty_n for_o it_o but_o it_o be_v for_o the_o inward_a man_n and_o the_o spirit_n and_o how_o he_o once_o have_v such_o a_o principle_n of_o life_n he_o can_v give_v way_n to_o sin_n but_o sin_n be_v his_o bondage_n and_o how_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n in_o he_o slay_v all_o fleshly_a act_n in_o the_o love_n of_o they_o and_o that_o all_o thing_n of_o man_n shall_v be_v slay_v and_o crucify_v in_o he_o by_o the_o death_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o that_o these_o be_v the_o thing_n which_o shall_v be_v burn_v up_o for_o ever_o and_o ever_o with_o unquenchable_a fire_n and_o although_o many_o self-wise_a professor_n in_o the_o world_n be_v offend_v at_o the_o book_n and_o stick_v not_o to_o asperse_v and_o belie_v it_o with_o their_o common_a slander_n of_o error_n and_o heterodoxal_a opinion_n and_o the_o like_a yet_o we_o know_v the_o world_n can_v do_v no_o other_o but_o will_v belie_v the_o truth_n as_o it_o always_o have_v do_v and_o the_o more_o divine_a any_o truth_n be_v the_o more_o they_o oppose_v it_o why_o because_o the_o light_n thereof_o condemn_v their_o darkness_n sin_n and_o ignorance_n and_o their_o practice_n and_o they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o stand_v in_o or_o bear_v the_o light_n thereof_o for_o either_o they_o must_v condemn_v the_o truth_n to_o justify_v themselves_o or_o else_o condemn_v themselves_o by_o be_v say_v to_o be_v prefer_v above_o all_o earthly_a treasure_n but_o not_o make_v equal_a to_o god_n and_o his_o word_n the_o scripture_n as_o the_o law_n and_o all_o thing_n else_o be_v good_a to_o the_o good_a who_o only_o know_v how_o to_o use_v they_o well_o but_o as_o now_o adays_o many_o ignorant_a people_n handle_v they_o and_o be_v conversant_a in_o they_o without_o all_o doubt_n it_o be_v better_a they_o be_v asleep_o the_o while_n for_o from_o the_o wrong_a understanding_n and_o abuse_n of_o they_o flow_v all_o heresy_n sect_n superstition_n so_o that_o not_o only_o the_o jew_n but_o the_o turk_n also_o make_v they_o their_o advocate_n and_o think_v the_o holy_a scripture_n be_v the_o foundation_n of_o their_o faith_n myself_o know_v at_o least_o twenty_o christian_a religion_n all_o which_o rest_n upon_o the_o holy_a scripture_n and_o every_o one_o hope_n they_o be_v on_o their_o side_n all_o these_o thing_n proceed_v either_o from_o far-fetched_a exposition_n and_o allegory_n nothing_o to_o the_o purpose_n or_o from_o the_o dead_a letter_n of_o the_o scripture_n or_o last_o from_o a_o certain_a arrogance_n and_o abuse_v of_o they_o now_o it_o be_v far_o better_a in_o many_o case_n not_o to_o use_v a_o thing_n at_o all_o then_o so_o to_o abuse_v it_o therefore_o i_o must_v needs_o say_v once_o again_o that_o the_o scripture_n be_v shut_v up_o and_o forbid_v to_o all_o flesh_n because_o it_o can_v never_o understand_v they_o for_o to_o that_o end_n there_o be_v require_v to_o they_o a_o supernatural_a divine_a newman_n bear_v of_o god_n who_o may_v bring_v with_o he_o to_o they_o the_o light_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n such_o a_o man_n can_v compose_v dispose_v understand_v interpret_v place_n and_o accommodate_v all_o thing_n in_o their_o
