how_o therefore_o shall_v we_o discern_v whether_o the_o testimony_n which_o we_o think_v we_o have_v be_v sound_a and_o good_a or_o but_o feign_v and_o counterfeit_a i_o confess_v it_o be_v good_a to_o watch_v and_o be_v circumspect_a because_o of_o our_o adversary_n the_o devil_n who_o be_v seldom_o more_o our_o adversary_n than_o when_o he_o pretend_v to_o be_v our_o friend_n as_o he_o do_v to_o eve_n and_o to_o christ_n himself_o but_o yet_o they_o that_o have_v the_o testimony_n of_o god_n spirit_n be_v secure_a and_o safe_a though_o they_o that_o have_v it_o not_o can_v be_v so_o what_o ever_o presume_v confidence_n they_o may_v entertain_v themselves_o with_o i_o shall_v therefore_o endeavour_v to_o clear_v this_o thing_n that_o none_o may_v be_v harden_v through_o the_o deceitfulness_n of_o sin_n or_o satan_n or_o their_o own_o heart_n in_o relation_n whereunto_o i_o shall_v lay_v down_o three_o rule_n to_o which_o though_o i_o purpose_v not_o to_o speak_v much_o devise_v fable_n but_o word_n of_o truth_n and_o power_n as_o shall_v be_v yet_o further_o evince_v and_o see_v we_o have_v former_o parallel_v the_o temptation_n which_o christ_n do_v and_o these_o young_a man_n also_o do_v undergo_v and_o conquer_v after_o the_o witness_n of_o the_o spirit_n receive_v we_o shall_v now_o parallel_v the_o sign_n and_o token_n of_o their_o respective_a victory_n when_o our_o saviour_n be_v tempt_v and_o the_o devil_n thrust_v put_v by_o and_o his_o argument_n defeat_v he_o whole_o wave_v the_o assume_v of_o it_o and_o shift_v his_o ground_n as_o not_o able_a to_o stand_v upon_o it_o nor_o to_o it_o which_o be_v one_o sign_n of_o his_o be_v so_o far_o conquer_v he_o attempt_v the_o second_o time_n another_o way_n but_o with_o no_o better_a success_n and_o therefore_o sound_v a_o parley_n and_o come_v to_o treat_v which_o be_v another_o sign_n that_o his_o force_n fail_v he_o when_o he_o can_v do_v no_o good_a no_o evil_a this_o way_n neither_o he_o journal_o to_o show_v how_o and_o where_o they_o conquer_v his_o break_a weapon_n and_o defeat_a argument_n they_o carry_v away_o as_o spoil_n and_o come_v out_o of_o the_o battle_n enrich_v with_o this_o victory_n which_o almost_o double_v their_o joy_n love_n and_o obedience_n it_o be_v another_o witness_n as_o it_o be_v or_o a_o confirmation_n of_o the_o former_a a_o assure_a assurance_n 1._o it_o fill_v they_o with_o joy_n and_o rejoice_v in_o the_o lord_n that_o of_o he_o they_o make_v their_o boast_n and_o to_o he_o they_o give_v the_o glory_n all_o the_o day_n long_o they_o rejoice_v not_o only_o as_o the_o disciple_n do_v that_o the_o devil_n be_v subject_a to_o they_o but_o that_o their_o name_n be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n luke_n 10.17_o they_o triumph_v in_o
