and_o to_o decay_v and_o be_v we●kned_v but_o as_o any_o disobey_v the_o pure_a motion_n of_o god_n holy_a spirit_n after_o it_o be_v know_v the_o enemy_n be_v strengthen_v and_o that_o which_o be_v of_o the_o flesh_n nourish_v and_o the_o spirit_n come_v to_o be_v quench_v that_o which_o will_v give_v thou_o power_n if_o thou_o submit_v to_o it_o but_o yet_o know_v this_o the_o spirit_n in_o itself_o never_o lose_v its_o purity_n neither_o can_v be_v quench_v in_o itself_o but_o will_v bear_v its_o pure_a witness_n against_o thou_o and_o none_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o stop_v its_o reproo●_z thus_o the_o diversity_n of_o its_o operation_n come_v to_o be_v know_v as_o it_o be_v harken_v unto_o obey_v love_v and_o believe_v in_o it_o put_v forth_o its_o pure_a power_n and_o give_v strength_n and_o seal_v peace_n to_o the_o obedient_a but_o disobey_v and_o resist_v it_o condemn_v judge_n reprove_v and_o seal_v condemnation_n to_o the_o disobedient_a and_o yet_o there_o be_v no_o variation_n in_o itself_o for_o it_o be_v always_o one_o and_o the_o same_o but_o as_o it_o operate_v upon_o different_a nature_n or_o object_n unto_o which_o it_o join_v to_o or_o stand_v at_o a_o distance_n from_o that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o good_a ground_n it_o cause_v to_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n unto_o god_n and_o the_o curse_a ground_n out_o of_o which_o briar_n and_o thorn_n do_v arise_v it_o kindle_v a_o fire_n in_o that_o shall_v not_o quench_v but_o as_o there_o be_v a_o submission_n unto_o its_o pure_a operation_n it_o burn_v up_o and_o destroy_v that_o which_o hinder_v the_o growth_n of_o the_o seed_n and_o it_o purge_v the_o heart_n of_o they_o that_o have_v confidence_n in_o it_o from_o all_o filthiness_n both_o of_o flesh_n and_o spirit_n and_o work_v up_o the_o creature_n into_o its_o own_o frame_n and_o nature_n and_o fashion_n and_o make_v and_o mould_v all_o that_o be_v in_o the_o faith_n into_o the_o image_n of_o the_o father_n and_o so_o the_o father_n love_n come_v to_o be_v shed_v abroad_o in_o the_o heart_n and_o as_o wrath_n be_v reveal_v through_o the_o spirit_n and_o condemnation_n so_o now_o the_o peace_n of_o god_n come_v to_o be_v enjoy_v and_o his_o consolation_n shed_v abro●d_fw-mi large_o in_o which_o there_o be_v pure_a rejoice_n for_o ever_o unto_o who_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o father_n bear_v witness_v and_o seal_v assurance_n of_o the_o father_n love_n a●d_fw-mi of_o justification_n with_o god_n declare_v none_o have_v the_o witness_n of_o god_n spi●it_n bear_v witness_n to_o they_o nor_o in_o they_o who_o have_v not_o believe_v in_o the_o true_a light_n that_o light_v every_o man_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n by_o who_o alone_a life_n be_v beget_v by_o the_o powerful_a operation_n of_o christ_n in_o they_o where_o these_o be_v not_o wash_v out_o and_o the_o heart_n cleanse_v from_o they_o and_o that_o believe_v in_o wherein_o god_n all-suffi●iency_n be_v feel_v and_o his_o pow●r_n make_v manifest_a there_o can_v be_v assurance_n of_o the_o father_n love_n in_o the_o heart_n nor_o in_o the_o soul_n neither_o do_v the_o spirit_n of_o the_o father_o bear_v witness_n unto_o such_o nor_o assure_v their_o justification_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a where_o sin_n remain_v unsubdued_a and_o take_v away_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o father_n condemn_v the_o sin_n and_o the_o creature_n now_o be_v join_v to_o it_o and_o be_v become_v one_o with_o it_o for_o no_o sin_n be_v brough●_z forth_o but_o there_o be_v a_o consent_n and_o a_o ascenting_a to_o the_o instigation_n of_o the_o devil_n although_o when_o a_o temptation_n arise_v either_o within_o or_o without_o there_o may_v be_v a_o resist_n and_o a_o strive_n against_o it_o for_o a_o little_a but_o the_o heart_n not_o be_v keep_v close_o to_o the_o spirit_n the_o enemy_n
