in_o reference_n to_o the_o special_a grace_n of_o god_n spirit_n but_o among_o these_o there_o be_v some_o much_o more_o worthy_a than_o other_o who_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o strength_n and_o subtlety_n of_o temptation_n sometime_o as_o well_o as_o other_o transgress_v the_o law_n of_o god_n but_o not_o as_o such_o who_o overtake_v sin_n but_o rather_o be_v overtake_v with_o sin_n gal._n 6.1_o not_o allow_v themselves_o therein_o as_o their_o great_a trouble_n and_o soul-heaviness_n with_o daily_a complaint_n because_o thereof_o plain_o declare_v and_o yet_o these_o for_o want_n of_o a_o right_a understanding_n god_n way_n to_o justify_v sinner_n and_o his_o readiness_n to_o justify_v they_o alas_o even_o these_o go_v mourn_v all_o the_o day_n long_o rather_o decay_v than_o flourish_v in_o the_o way_n of_o god_n you_o even_o you_o in_o particular_a the_o belove_a of_o my_o soul_n do_v i_o hereby_o exhort_v first_o that_o you_o always_o abide_v watchful_a and_o abundant_o careful_a that_o you_o sin_v not_o but_o second_o if_o any_o man_n sin_n that_o you_o remember_v there_o be_v a_o advocate_n with_o the_o father_n jesus_n christ_n the_o righteous_a who_o be_v a_o propitiation_n for_o our_o sin_n by_o who_o way_n be_v make_v for_o you_o bold_o to_o come_v to_o the_o throne_n of_o grace_n that_o you_o may_v find_v mercy_n that_o be_v to_o say_v for_o all_o you_o that_o have_v sin_v feel_v the_o stroke_n of_o sin_n and_o forget_v it_o not_o as_o sluggard_n do_v and_o so_o in_o the_o sense_n and_o godly_a sorrow_n for_o sin_n in_o particular_a attend_v with_o holy_a resolution_n with_o humble_a and_o hearty_a confession_n of_o the_o same_o with_o fervent_a desire_n lead_v unto_o earnest_a prayer_n to_o god_n for_o the_o remission_n of_o the_o same_o you_o forgive_a they_o that_o have_v trespass_v against_o you_o and_o not_o only_o this_o for_o one_o thing_n be_v yet_o lack_v even_o that_o you_o in_o faith_n also_o commit_v yourselves_o to_o his_o grace_n believe_v that_o as_o he_o have_v in_o mercy_n promise_v so_o in_o faithfulness_n he_o will_v perform_v what_o he_o have_v promise_v even_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n for_o what_o thing_n soever_o you_o desire_v when_o you_o pray_v say_v christ_n believe_v that_o you_o receive_v they_o and_o you_o shall_v have_v they_o mark_v 11.24_o and_o who_o then_o can_v lay_v any_o thing_n to_o your_o charge_n it_o be_v god_n that_o justifi_v such_o who_o or_o what_o be_v there_o then_o that_o condemn_v it_o be_v christ_n that_o have_v die_v yea_o rather_o that_o he_o be_v rise_v again_o good_a will_n and_o pleasure_n of_o god_n in_o reference_n to_o your_o receive_n from_o he_o the_o more_o special_a discovery_n and_o operation_n of_o his_o spirit_n but_o may_v now_o bold_o go_v to_o the_o throne_n of_o grace_n for_o the_o same_o be_v such_o who_o god_n wait_v to_o be_v gracious_a unto_o you_o have_v that_o faith_n which_o his_o pleasure_n be_v to_o account_v unto_o you_o for_o righteousness_n this_o be_v consider_v how_o speedy_o shall_v every_o soul_n not_o as_o a_o thing_n by_o the_o by_o but_o as_o their_o great_a work_n when_o at_o any_o time_n overtake_v with_o sin_n to_o draw_v nigh_o unto_o god_n and_o that_o in_o the_o sense_n of_o every_o know_a sin_n with_o godly_a sorrow_n for_o the_o same_o not_o dare_v to_o delay_v heap_v up_o sin_n like_o the_o wanton_n there_o be_v every_o way_n as_o much_o cause_n of_o repentance_n and_o faith_n for_o the_o latter_a sin_n as_o there_o be_v for_o the_o many_o former_a sin_n commit_v in_o ignorance_n which_o though_o person_n be_v ready_a to_o acknowledge_v yet_o be_v i_o fear_v too_o apt_a to_o neglect_v the_o same_o upon_o the_o account_n that_o they_o have_v renounce_v their_o former_a way_n and_o their_o now_o be_v in_o the_o way_n of_o god_n and_o that_o christ_n be_v now_o a_o mediator_n for_o they_o and_o the_o like_a not_o consider_v that_o the_o soul-satisfying_a benefit_n of_o christ_n media_n orship_v be_v enjoy_v according_a to_o man_n application_n unto_o the_o father_n by_o he_o but_o o_o what_o comfort_n can_v a_o soul_n have_v in_o any_o thing_n or_o with_o what_o boldness_n shall_v he_o walk_v talk_v or_o commit_v himself_o to_o his_o bed_n that_o have_v sin_v against_o his_o god_n have_v not_o as_o you_o be_v with_o he_o and_o so_o by_o faith_n receive_v a_o pardon_n from_o he_o true_a it_o be_v that_o such_o while_o they_o neglect_v the_o great_a soul-searching_a work_n and_o be_v toss_v up_o and_o down_o with_o the_o cumbrance_n of_o this_o life_n may_v have_v a_o imagine_a peace_n and_o suppose_a comfort_n and_o so_o may_v go_v on_o somewhat_o cheerful_o in_o their_o thought_n and_o think_n as_o if_o all_o be_v they_o but_o alas_o these_o though_o they_o may_v talk_v of_o god_n love_n and_o mercy_n be_v not_o able_a to_o
say_v upon_o sure_a experience_n with_o the_o prophet_n that_o the_o lord_n have_v crown_v they_o with_o love_a kindness_n and_o tender_a mercy_n psal_n 103.4_o o_o let_v he_o then_o that_o read_v understand_v that_o every_o soul_n that_o come_v by_o faith_n to_o be_v justify_v from_o their_o old_a sin_n have_v a_o great_a work_n to_o do_v require_v much_o watchfulness_n care_n and_o a_o little_a while_n in_o measure_n reform_v themselves_o have_v thereby_o speak_v peace_n to_o themselves_o think_v all_o be_v well_o and_o why_o because_o they_o be_v reform_v and_o thus_o do_v they_o as_o it_o be_v make_v their_o own_o work_n of_o reformation_n the_o ground_n of_o their_o peace_n and_o satisfaction_n true_a it_o be_v that_o work_v of_o reformation_n in_o such_o that_o have_v sin_v be_v good_a for_o the_o lord_n call_v for_o it_o yet_o sure_o i_o be_o and_o i_o pray_v you_o to_o consider_v it_o that_o it_o be_v not_o that_o no_o nor_o any_o work_n of_o righteousness_n that_o they_o can_v do_v yea_o though_o they_o shall_v for_o ever_o afterward_o so_o exact_o walk_v both_o in_o word_n thought_n and_o action_n as_o not_o again_o to_o sin_n yet_o i_o in_o such_o who_o neglect_v the_o true_a mean_n of_o justification_n in_o which_o reformation_n of_o they_o they_o may_v rejoice_v but_o not_o as_o imagine_v peace_n from_o thence_o but_o rather_o upon_o the_o account_n that_o god_n be_v thereby_o more_o honour_v even_o god_n who_o have_v justify_v they_o from_o all_o their_o sin_n now_o forasmuch_o as_o it_o be_v saint_n great_a work_n to_o keep_v themselves_o in_o the_o way_n of_o god_n grace_n and_o mercy_n that_o they_o may_v always_o stand_v quit_v and_o justify_v from_o sin_n without_o which_o they_o can_v go_v to_o the_o throne_n of_o grace_n with_o confidence_n to_o receive_v the_o special_a presence_n of_o god_n spirit_n i_o will_v pray_v all_o such_o who_o be_v in_o the_o godly_a sorrow_n because_o of_o their_o sin_n to_o weigh_v these_o follow_a consideration_n that_o henceforth_o there_o may_v be_v a_o more_o apt_a and_o ready_a close_n in_o with_o god_n promise_n in_o reference_n to_o pardon_n and_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n namely_o that_o the_o lord_n the_o lord_n god_n against_o who_o you_o have_v sin_v be_v a_o gracious_a god_n abundant_a in_o goodness_n keep_v mercy_n for_o thousand_o forgive_a iniquity_n transgression_n and_o sin_n plenteous_a in_o mercy_n rich_a in_o mercy_n abundant_a in_o mercy_n that_o will_v abundant_o pardon_v all_o which_o the_o scripture_n witness_v consider_v also_o that_o
