repentance_n and_o go_v forth_o from_o his_o wicked_a way_n and_o not_o at_o all_o regard_n the_o power_n and_o honour_n of_o the_o world_n and_o if_o it_o shall_v be_v require_v will_v forsake_v and_o disesteem_v all_o thing_n for_o true_a repentance_n sake_n and_o take_v such_o a_o earnest_a firm_a and_o strong_a resolution_n that_o he_o will_v never_o go_v forth_o from_o it_o again_o and_o the_o pleasure_n thereof_o but_o still_o feel_v in_o itself_o a_o hunger_n after_o divine_a grace_n and_o will_v rather_o always_o enter_v into_o repentance_n and_o come_v into_o favour_n with_o god_n for_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n have_v touch_v it_o and_o bruise_v it_o and_o therefore_o it_o can_v rest_v no_o where_o but_o always_o figh_v in_o itself_o after_o sorrow_n for_o the_o sin_n it_o have_v commit_v and_o will_v fain_o be_v rid_v of_o they_o but_o can_v not_o get_v true_a repentance_n much_o less_o the_o knowledge_n of_o sin_n and_o yet_o have_v such_o a_o hunger_n and_o long_a desire_n after_o repentance_n and_o sorrow_n for_o sin_n the_o soul_n be_v thus_o heavy_a and_o sad_a and_o find_v no_o remedy_n nor_o rest_n bethink_v itself_o where_o to_o find_v a_o place_n to_o of_o god_n and_o therefore_o purpose_v to_o betake_v itself_o to_o some_o private_a solitary_a place_n and_o give_v over_o all_o worldly_a employment_n and_o temporal_a thing_n and_o think_v in_o be_v bountiful_a and_o pitiful_a to_o the_o poor_a that_o god_n will_v have_v mercy_n upon_o it_o and_o seek_v out_o all_o kind_n of_o way_n to_o get_v rest_n and_o to_o get_v the_o love_n favour_n and_o grace_n of_o god_n again_o but_o all_o will_v not_o do_v for_o all_o its_o worldly_a business_n follow_v it_o in_o the_o lust_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o it_o be_v ensnare_v in_o the_o net_n of_o the_o devil_n now_o as_o well_o as_o before_o and_o can_v not_o get_v rest_n and_o though_o for_o some_o little_a while_n it_o be_v a_o little_a cheer_v with_o earthly_a thing_n yet_o present_o it_o fall_v to_o be_v as_o sad_a and_o heavy_a again_o for_o it_o feel_v the_o awaken_v wrath_n of_o god_n in_o itself_o and_o know_v not_o how_o that_o come_v to_o pass_v nor_o what_o it_o ail_v for_o many_o time_n great_a fear_n and_o temptation_n fall_v upon_o it_o which_o make_v it_o comfortless_o sick_a and_o â—aint_a with_o very_a fear_n so_o mighty_o do_v the_o first_o bruise_v it_o with_o the_o image_n he_o have_v confound_v all_o its_o good_a desire_v thought_n &_o motion_n and_o bring_v they_o away_o from_o god_n and_o goodness_n concern_v which_o christ_n say_v the_o devil_n snatch_v of_o the_o serpent_n which_o separate_v the_o soul_n from_o god_n and_o that_o the_o devil_n be_v so_o nigh_o it_o in_o that_o image_n and_o do_v mingle_v evil_a thought_n in_o the_o will_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o have_v so_o much_o power_n over_o it_o thereby_o and_o that_o it_o be_v so_o near_a damnation_n and_o stick_v fast_o in_o the_o abyss_n or_o bottomless_a pit_n of_o hell_n in_o the_o anger_n of_o god_n that_o it_o will_v have_v despair_v of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n but_o that_o the_o power_n virtue_n and_o strength_n of_o the_o first_o stir_v of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n that_o bruise_v the_o soul_n uphold_v it_o that_o it_o despair_v not_o and_o so_o the_o soul_n wrestle_v in_o itself_o between_o hope_n and_o doubt_n whatsoever_o hope_v build_v up_o that_o doubt_n throw_v
