possible_o may_v have_v curious_o pry_v to_o their_o own_o horror_n and_o despair_n but_o few_o or_o none_o have_v ever_o pry_v into_o they_o to_o their_o own_o satisfaction_n this_o election_n in_o come_v to_o a_o certain_a knowledge_n that_o thou_o be_v elect_v and_o know_v this_o also_o far_o that_o god_n who_o elect_v to_o the_o end_n elect_v also_o to_o the_o mean_n now_o obedience_n be_v the_o mean_n and_o way_n to_o salvation_n and_o therefore_o if_o thou_o be_v elect_v to_o salvation_n thou_o be_v also_o elect_v to_o obedience_n say_v not_o therefore_o if_o i_o be_o elect_v i_o shall_v be_v save_v whether_o i_o work_v or_o not_o there_o be_v no_o such_o thing_n i_o may_v bold_o say_v if_o thou_o be_v elect_v and_o do_v not_o work_v it_o be_v impossible_a that_o thy_o there_o be_v no_o election_n to_o salvation_n absolute_a whereby_o god_n have_v choose_v any_o to_o salvation_n without_o work_n that_o be_v whether_o they_o work_v or_o not_o if_o therefore_o you_o believe_v hearty_o and_o obey_v sincere_o than_o your_o election_n to_o salvation_n stand_v firm_a nay_o the_o scripture_n make_v election_n to_o be_v terminate_v as_o well_o in_o obedience_n as_o salvation_n elect_a say_v the_o apostle_n unto_o obedience_n through_o sanctification_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o former_a place_n it_o be_v elect_a to_o salvation_n through_o sanctification_n but_o in_o this_o it_o be_v elect_v to_o obedience_n through_o sanctification_n note_v thus_o much_o to_o we_o that_o none_o be_v elect_v to_o salvation_n but_o those_o that_o be_v elect_v to_o obedience_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v unreasonable_a yea_o it_o be_v contradictory_n to_o say_v if_o i_o be_o elect_v i_o shall_v be_v save_v whether_o i_o obey_v or_o not_o for_o none_o be_v thereunto_o elect_v but_o through_o obedience_n and_o now_o have_v as_o i_o hope_v satisfactory_o answer_v all_o objection_n and_o scruple_n that_o may_v arise_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n against_o this_o doctrine_n i_o now_o proceed_v to_o press_v this_o duty_n of_o work_v for_o salvation_n upon_o their_o conscience_n and_o i_o shall_v do_v it_o in_o a_o use_n of_o exhortation_n be_v serious_o consider_v how_o great_a it_o be_v most_o man_n acknowledge_v that_o it_o must_v be_v do_v but_o because_o they_o look_v upon_o it_o as_o that_o which_o may_v speedy_o and_o quick_o be_v dispatch_v they_o drive_v it_o before_o they_o from_o day_n to_o day_n and_o think_v to_o huddle_n it_o up_o at_o the_o end_n of_o their_o life_n then_o when_o they_o be_v fit_a for_o no_o other_o employment_n and_o least_o of_o all_o fit_a for_o this_o employment_n than_o they_o think_v to_o do_v the_o work_n of_o god_n i_o shall_v here_o lay_v down_o three_o particular_n to_o convince_v sinner_n of_o the_o greatness_n of_o this_o work_n and_o because_o it_o be_v so_o
shall_v in_o heaven_n become_v the_o measure_n of_o our_o reward_n and_o happiness_n but_o in_o the_o very_a keep_n of_o they_o while_o we_o be_v observe_v and_o obey_v there_o be_v so_o great_a a_o reward_n that_o we_o shall_v have_v no_o cause_n to_o complain_v shall_v god_n bestow_v no_o more_o upon_o we_o than_o to_o suffer_v we_o to_o obey_v his_o law_n for_o god_n 1._o by_o work_v for_o subject_n to_o be_v wrought_v upon_o by_o precept_n counsel_n command_n and_o exhortation_n as_o well_o as_o by_o internal_a and_o efficacious_a grace_n that_o argument_n and_o motive_n may_v persuade_v without_o as_o grace_n sway_v within_o that_o so_o by_o both_o he_o may_v render_v they_o a_o willing_a people_n in_o the_o day_n of_o his_o power_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o in_o
