have_v any_o light_n of_o conscience_n and_o have_v make_v profession_n heretofore_o if_o such_o a_o one_o shall_v froward_o fly_v out_o against_o the_o word_n and_o those_o that_o be_v godly_a you_o may_v conclude_v there_o be_v some_o woeful_a guilt_n upon_o that_o man_n spirit_n he_o be_v so_o froward_a and_o peevish_a and_o disquiet_a as_o he_o be_v and_o so_o we_o find_v it_o in_o saul_n he_o be_v a_o man_n at_o first_o of_o a_o very_a quiet_a spirit_n and_o very_o moderate_a but_o after_o saul_n be_v a_o man_n much_o enlighten_v and_o have_v forsake_v god_n and_o have_v contract_v abundance_n of_o guilt_n upon_o his_o soul_n he_o be_v a_o most_o froward_a perverse_a spirit_n as_o any_o we_o read_v of_o in_o the_o book_n of_o god_n then_o how_o froward_a be_v he_o with_o david_n and_o the_o priest_n of_o god_n and_o so_o outrageous_a as_o that_o he_o slay_v they_o all_o a_o bloody_a man_n after_o he_o have_v contract_v much_o guilt_n do_v you_o see_v man_n so_o froward_a and_o outrageous_a and_o bloody_a oh_o there_o be_v much_o guilt_n within_o upon_o their_o spirit_n great_a breach_n between_o god_n and_o their_o soul_n and_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n within_o grate_n upon_o their_o heart_n and_o that_o make_v they_o so_o outrageous_a as_o they_o be_v if_o guilt_n be_v upon_o the_o soul_n it_o take_v away_o all_o the_o comfort_n of_o every_o thing_n that_o man_n or_o woman_n that_o have_v a_o enlighten_v conscience_n and_o have_v guilt_n upon_o they_o there_o be_v little_a comfort_n such_o a_o one_o can_v take_v in_o any_o thing_n they_o enjoy_v no_o affliction_n in_o the_o world_n can_v take_v away_o the_o comfort_n of_o what_o we_o enjoy_v as_o guilt_n can_v do_v if_o you_o have_v affliction_n one_o way_n you_o have_v comfort_n another_o if_o a_o man_n go_v abroad_o and_o meet_v with_o hard_a deal_n he_o come_v home_o and_o have_v comfort_v it_o may_v be_v in_o his_o wife_n a_o comfortable_a yoke-fellow_n this_o rejoice_v he_o or_o may_v be_v he_o have_v comfort_n in_o his_o child_n or_o in_o such_o or_o such_o a_o friend_n but_o now_o let_v a_o man_n or_o a_o woman_n have_v guilt_n upon_o conscience_n abroad_o he_o have_v no_o comfort_n at_o home_o he_o have_v no_o comfort_n yea_o the_o more_o comfortable_a thing_n he_o do_v enjoy_v the_o more_o trouble_n there_o be_v in_o his_o spirit_n as_o thus_o take_v a_o guilty_a conscience_n and_o when_o he_o come_v and_o look_v upon_o a_o comfortable_a family_n comfortable_a estate_n mean_v come_v in_o a_o sweet_a yoke-fellow_n good_a friend_n oh_o but_o if_o i_o have_v not_o some_o guilt_n upon_o my_o soul_n i_o can_v rejoice_v in_o these_o but_o that_o guilt_n that_o lie_v upon_o his_o conscience_n take_v away_o all_o the_o comfort_n of_o these_o and_o if_o he_o see_v other_o that_o enjoy_v these_o oh_o say_v he_o this_o man_n may_v have_v comfort_n in_o a_o comfortable_a yoke-fellow_n child_n or_o friend_n and_o a_o good_a estate_n but_o he_o have_v not_o guilt_n upon_o his_o spirit_n and_o that_o breach_n between_o his_o god_n and_o he_o as_o i_o have_v may_v be_v the_o world_n know_v not_o where_o his_o â—hoo_n pinch_v he_o and_o what_o saden_v his_o spirit_n many_o man_n that_o have_v comfort_n about_o they_o though_o they_o can_v be_v say_v to_o enjoy_v they_o yet_o their_o heart_n be_v trouble_v and_o disquiet_v and_o no_o body_n know_v the_o matter_n oh_o there_o be_v guilt_n upon_o their_o spirit_n they_o think_v within_o themselves_o oh_o if_o it_o be_v with_o i_o as_o it_o be_v with_o such_o a_o one_o it_o will_v be_v well_o sure_o they_o have_v not_o that_o guilt_n i_o have_v if_o they_o have_v they_o can_v not_o but_o be_v disquiet_v as_o i_o be_o again_o gild_n bring_v woeful_a fear_n upon_o the_o conscience_n no_o affliction_n can_v bring_v such_o fear_n upon_o the_o conscience_n though_o there_o shall_v be_v never_o such_o trouble_n and_o fear_n and_o confusion_n in_o the_o world_n alas_o this_o be_v not_o so_o terrible_a and_o fearful_a as_o that_o fear_n the_o guilty_a conscience_n have_v take_v a_o man_n or_o woman_n who_o conscience_n be_v deliver_v from_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n such_o a_o one_o though_o heaven_n and_o earth_n shall_v meet_v be_v not_o so_o much_o trouble_v certain_o brethren_n in_o these_o great_a fear_n among_o we_o that_o you_o be_v scare_v at_o everything_o it_o be_v partly_o because_o you_o have_v not_o thorough_o make_v up_o your_o peace_n between_o god_n and_o your_o soul_n and_o some_o guilt_n lie_v upon_o your_o spirit_n and_o conscience_n and_o this_o great_a evil_n for_o the_o creature_n not_o to_o be_v able_a to_o look_v upon_o god_n &_o to_o have_v thought_n of_o god_n without_o be_v pierce_v with_o terror_n than_o to_o be_v under_o any_o affliction_n in_o the_o world_n sorrow_n fear_n and_o disgrace_n and_o persecution_n be_v not_o so_o terrible_a as_o this_o that_o i_o be_o in_o such_o a_o condition_n that_o i_o can_v look_v up_o to_o god_n nor_o think_v upon_o god_n without_o have_v the_o thought_n of_o his_o majesty_n to_o be_v terrible_a to_o i_o a_o guilty_a conscience_n can_v endure_v to_o have_v a_o thought_n of_o god_n better_a be_v under_o any_o affliction_n than_o in_o such_o a_o case_n as_o that_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n be_v terrible_a the_o presence_n of_o god_n in_o prayer_n and_o so_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n in_o his_o word_n oh_o the_o word_n be_v terrible_a to_o such_o a_o one_o the_o word_n of_o god_n speak_v nothing_o but_o terror_n so_o long_o as_o guilt_n remain_v upon_o the_o it_o be_v the_o seed_n of_o eternal_a evil_n and_o sin_n itself_o will_v be_v executioner_n upon_o the_o soul_n and_o will_v prove_v a_o intolerable_a misery_n to_o the_o soul_n though_o sin_n be_v the_o very_a element_n in_o which_o many_o man_n and_o woman_n live_v and_o so_o delight_v themselves_o yet_o be_v it_o know_v that_o this_o sin_n do_v not_o only_o deserve_v that_o god_n shall_v bring_v his_o wrath_n upon_o thou_o for_o it_o but_o that_o sin_n will_v prove_v eternal_a torment_n to_o thou_o as_o thus_o the_o fish_n that_o play_v and_o leap_v in_o the_o water_n the_o water_n shall_v be_v torture_n and_o torment_n and_o so_o a_o principle_n of_o eternal_a evil_n it_o shall_v be_v to_o you_o thus_o sin_n be_v another_o manner_n of_o evil_n than_o affliction_n as_o thus_o affliction_n though_o in_o disease_n they_o bring_v pain_n and_o sorrow_n to_o the_o body_n the_o matter_n of_o this_o will_v wear_v out_o in_o time_n and_o so_o the_o disease_n will_v fall_v but_o
