to_o i_o any_o place_n special_o in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n i_o except_v always_o many_o thing_n in_o the_o revelation_n of_o s._n john_n more_o dark_a and_o difficult_a and_o that_o not_o so_o much_o by_o reason_n of_o itself_o either_o as_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o word_n wherein_o it_o be_v express_v or_o the_o matter_n therein_o contain_v though_o i_o deny_v not_o but_o that_o both_o those_o way_n it_o be_v very_o hard_a as_o partly_o by_o those_o corrupt_a gloss_n that_o some_o have_v make_v upon_o it_o and_o partly_o also_o by_o such_o curious_a question_n as_o othersome_a have_v move_v out_o of_o it_o and_o last_o by_o such_o unresolute_a resolute_a conclusion_n as_o many_o fantastical_a man_n have_v labour_v to_o raise_v and_o gather_v out_o of_o the_o same_o all_o which_o or_o any_o of_o which_o almost_o if_o a_o man_n shall_v stand_v either_o to_o rehearse_v answer_n or_o confute_v it_o will_v be_v both_o tedious_a and_o unprofitable_a also_o neither_o utter_v i_o this_o with_o a_o dispitefull_a heart_n to_o twit_v man_n for_o their_o corruption_n and_o sin_n or_o with_o the_o just_a dispraise_n of_o some_o to_o purchase_v a_o unjust_a commendation_n to_o myself_o or_o in_o declare_v the_o hardness_n of_o the_o word_n to_o hunt_v after_o worldly_a praise_n in_o the_o curious_a handle_n thereof_o vice_n &_o foul_a fault_n that_o be_v too_o rife_a and_o common_a in_o the_o world_n nowadays_o but_o rather_o dutiful_o to_o stir_v up_o myself_o and_o all_o the_o faithful_a of_o god_n not_o only_o in_o this_o but_o in_o all_o such_o like_a place_n whatsoever_o to_o attain_v and_o that_o with_o unwearied_a labour_n and_o study_v to_o the_o sound_n and_o sincere_a meaning_n thereof_o whereunto_o because_o we_o be_v altogether_o unfit_a aswell_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o natural_a blindness_n that_o be_v in_o we_o before_o regeneration_n as_o of_o the_o remainder_n of_o our_o corruption_n even_o after_o some_o measure_n of_o light_n and_o knowledge_n receive_v &_o we_o know_v that_o without_o some_o special_a grace_n from_o god_n we_o can_v never_o reach_v thereto_o that_o therefore_o we_o shall_v be_v earnest_a with_o the_o lord_n by_o prayer_n not_o only_o by_o the_o bright_a beam_n of_o his_o bless_a spirit_n to_o chase_v away_o the_o darkness_n and_o dulness_n of_o our_o own_o understanding_n but_o even_o to_o and_o damn_a spirit_n which_o be_v the_o three_o in_o number_n that_o be_v except_v from_o this_o we_o have_v also_o good_a reason_n to_o except_v they_o both_o because_o that_o in_o their_o perverseness_n against_o god_n and_o man_n they_o do_v not_o only_o not_o carry_v that_o love_n towards_o the_o adauncement_n of_o god_n glory_n or_o the_o accomplishment_n of_o the_o number_n of_o likewise_o who_o slave_n and_o servant_n they_o be_v do_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o their_o sin_n &_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o punishment_n that_o they_o know_v they_o have_v deserve_v for_o it_o who_o if_o they_o have_v companion_n with_o they_o in_o their_o affliction_n do_v more_o comfortable_o for_o the_o most_o part_n and_o patient_o carry_v the_o same_o persuade_v themselves_o that_o a_o innocence_n yet_o if_o we_o shall_v not_o come_v to_o that_o eternal_a inheritance_n through_o the_o strength_n and_o power_n of_o his_o glorious_a ascension_n but_o live_v here_o upon_o the_o earth_n subject_a to_o so_o many_o infirmity_n of_o our_o own_o both_o in_o body_n and_o mind_n as_o we_o continual_o carry_v about_o with_o we_o and_o lie_v open_a to_o the_o buffet_n of_o satan_n and_o the_o blow_n of_o the_o wicked_a as_o his_o servant_n who_o in_o the_o rage_n of_o their_o spirit_n be_v ready_a every_o minute_n of_o a_o hour_n with_o violence_n death_n and_o destruction_n to_o rush_v in_o and_o fall_v upon_o we_o what_o be_v it_o else_o but_o after_o a_o sort_n to_o be_v as_o it_o be_v even_o in_o the_o pain_n &_o torment_n of_o hell_n itself_o let_v we_o therefore_o stick_v fast_o to_o this_o think_v upon_o it_o often_o and_o make_v much_o of_o it_o as_o a_o notable_a bulwark_n or_o buttress_n to_o our_o faith_n patience_n and_o all_o other_o the_o particular_a for_o we_o in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v the_o one_o sort_n be_v in_o it_o own_o nature_n finite_a as_o all_o thing_n in_o this_o life_n be_v though_o perhaps_o innumerable_a as_o in_o regard_n of_o we_o the_o other_o both_o as_o in_o respect_n of_o god_n the_o creator_n as_o also_o in_o respect_n of_o itself_o be_v infinite_a and_o unmeasurable_a so_o do_v it_o not_o only_o well_o but_o necessary_o also_o depend_v even_o upon_o both_o the_o former_a reason_n and_o may_v fit_o be_v fasten_v unto_o they_o in_o this_o sort_n that_o whereas_o he_o have_v in_o the_o former_a make_v mention_n partly_o of_o manifold_a affliction_n and_o partly_o of_o heavenly_a glory_n now_o in_o this_o he_o labour_v to_o show_v that_o though_o our_o trouble_n and_o trial_n be_v never_o so_o great_a or_o many_o that_o yet_o it_o shall_v not_o any_o whit_n at_o all_o discourage_v we_o in_o as_o much_o as_o there_o be_v a_o far_o more_o excellent_a glory_n by_o infinite_a degree_n lay_v heresy_n sect_n and_o error_n in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o may_v bring_v forth_o the_o same_o bitter_a fruit_n hereafter_o except_o it_o please_v god_n to_o give_v man_n better_a grace_n to_o
