that_o be_v the_o day_n of_o death_n the_o day_n of_o doom_n that_o condemnation_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o the_o salvation_n of_o the_o godly_a to_o the_o wicked_a and_o damn_a sort_n death_n be_v miserable_a god_n judgement_n terrible_a and_o their_o pain_n intolerable_a to_o the_o godly_a and_o such_o as_o shall_v be_v save_v death_n be_v pleasant_a judgement_n comfortable_a and_o their_o joy_n perpetual_a therefore_o it_o be_v better_a betimes_o to_o repent_v &_o reform_v ourselves_o with_o the_o godly_a then_o to_o drive_v off_o from_o day_n to_o day_n with_o the_o wicked_a which_o we_o friendly_a warning_n to_o make_v ourselves_o in_o a_o readiness_n and_o to_o give_v over_o the_o world_n and_o happy_a man_n be_v he_o whosoever_o he_o be_v which_o forsake_v sin_n before_o sin_n forsake_v he_o and_o that_o give_v over_o the_o world_n before_o the_o world_n give_v he_o over_o for_o when_o we_o have_v discharge_v ourselves_o of_o this_o world_n and_o this_o world_n shall_v be_v warner_n and_o messenger_n of_o death_n this_o be_v the_o fear_n of_o the_o flesh_n the_o three_o cause_n why_o man_n fear_v death_n be_v incredulity_n or_o lack_n of_o faith_n in_o christ_n this_o be_v the_o fear_n of_o conscience_n and_o proceed_v of_o ignorance_n or_o lack_v of_o knowledge_n in_o the_o scripture_n whereof_o our_o faith_n be_v ground_v the_o four_o cause_n why_o we_o fear_v death_n be_v the_o danger_n of_o eternal_a damnation_n both_o of_o body_n and_o soul_n in_o hell_n fire_n this_o be_v the_o inward_a fear_n of_o the_o spirit_n but_o to_o be_v short_a one_o mist_n which_o do_v separate_v we_o from_o the_o light_n and_o sight_n of_o the_o sun_n first_o therefore_o for_o the_o loss_n of_o the_o world_n and_o all_o the_o dross_n therein_o it_o be_v indeed_o no_o loss_n but_o gain_n to_o those_o that_o by_o death_n enjoy_v the_o company_n of_o
god_n &_o his_o angel_n in_o heaven_n where_o they_o shall_v be_v immortal_a and_o incorruptible_a free_v from_o all_o carnal_a desire_n and_o disease_n of_o the_o body_n and_o deliver_v from_o all_o sorrow_n and_o trouble_n of_o mind_n no_o loss_n therefore_o to_o the_o godly_a that_o have_v gain_v christ_n but_o to_o the_o wicked_a worldling_n that_o have_v lose_v their_o riches_n and_o the_o other_o do_v comfort_n us._n the_o law_n utter_v sin_n the_o gospel_n forgive_v it_o the_o law_n make_v weak_a the_o gospel_n make_v strong_a the_o law_n kill_v the_o gospel_n quicken_v the_o may_v all_o with_o quiet_a mind_n and_o good_a conscience_n patient_o pass_v the_o time_n of_o this_o our_o painful_a pilgrimage_n here_o on_o earth_n peaceable_o spend_v and_o end_v our_o day_n in_o thy_o service_n and_o so_o at_o the_o last_o come_v to_o thy_o heavenly_a kingdom_n &_o life_n everlasting_a through_o jesus_n christ_n the_o author_n of_o life_n in_o who_o holy_a name_n we_o be_v bold_a to_o lift_v up_o our_o heart_n hand_n and_o voice_n pray_v unto_o thou_o as_o he_o have_v teach_v we_o say_v our_o father_n which_o etc._n etc._n all_o glory_n and_o praise_n be_v only_o give_v unto_o god_n a_o prayer_n for_o morning_n most_o gracious_a god_n and_o dear_a father_n we_o yield_v unto_o thou_o from_o the_o bottom_n of_o our_o heart_n most_o humble_a thanks_n in_o that_o it_o unto_o these_o our_o earthly_a and_o languish_a body_n such_o sufficient_a sleep_n and_o rest_n as_o have_v satisfy_v the_o earnest_a desire_n of_o our_o weak_a and_o feeble_a nature_n and_o as_o thou_o of_o thy_o mercy_n have_v safe_o bring_v we_o to_o the_o begin_n of_o this_o present_a day_n and_o show_v we_o the_o light_n thereof_o so_o we_o humble_o beseech_v thou_o o_o god_n grant_v that_o our_o soul_n may_v be_v spiritual_o lighten_v with_o the_o brightness_n of_o thy_o word_n and_o sacred_a mystery_n whereby_o we_o may_v walk_v in_o the_o step_n of_o christianity_n and_o lead_v a_o life_n agreeable_a to_o our_o vocation_n in_o christ_n jesus_n our_o lord_n assist_v we_o also_o with_o thy_o grace_n and_o holy_a spirit_n o_o god_n that_o we_o may_v never_o shrink_v from_o
