direction_n and_o comfort_n do_v add_v here_o that_o as_o they_o will_v find_v these_o they_o must_v know_v this_o first_o that_o it_o be_v not_o of_o any_o private_a interpretation_n and_o though_o only_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o author_n of_o the_o scripture_n can_v full_o persuade_v heart_n that_o they_o be_v his_o mind_n yet_o if_o man_n will_v consider_v that_o a_o great_a many_o of_o these_o truth_n that_o be_v reveal_v in_o scripture_n be_v not_o only_o agreeable_a to_o natures-light_n but_o may_v be_v in_o some_o measure_n know_v by_o it_o the_o one_o to_o wit_n likeness_n of_o the_o stile_n thereof_o though_o write_v by_o so_o many_o several_a man_n live_v in_o so_o far_o distant_a age_n and_o place_n of_o the_o world_n the_o exact_a answerablenesse_n of_o god_n and_o the_o like_a that_o by_o the_o distinct_a and_o clear_a up-taking_a of_o all_o they_o may_v be_v the_o more_o humble_a and_o the_o more_o provoke_v to_o praise_n god_n and_o to_o be_v diligent_a in_o their_o duty_n for_o such_o a_o representation_n be_v here_o give_v to_o convert_v of_o their_o former_a disposition_n and_o carriage_n that_o they_o have_v in_o time_n pass_v wrought_v with_o great_a intention_n and_o bensel_n of_o spirit_n as_o the_o word_n signify_v the_o will_n of_o the_o gentile_n by_o follow_v their_o example_n serve_v and_o encourage_v they_o in_o their_o sin_n walk_v in_o outward_a vileness_n and_o inward_a lust_n in_o excess_n of_o wine_n and_o such_o other_o gross_a sin_n against_o the_o second_o table_n and_o in_o abominable_a idolatry_n against_o the_o first_o table_n 7._o where_o the_o love_n of_o sin_n be_v entertain_v in_o the_o heart_n and_o profanity_n give_v way_n to_o in_o the_o practice_n contrary_a to_o the_o second_o table_n there_o be_v ordinary_o join_v therewith_o a_o forsake_v or_o corrupt_v of_o the_o right_a worship_n of_o god_n contrary_a to_o the_o first_o a_o spirit_n of_o strong_a delusion_n in_o the_o
