come_v by_o hear_v the_o word_n faith_n be_v not_o in_o we_o it_o come_v to_o we_o it_o be_v not_o wrought_v or_o purchase_v by_o our_o own_o worthiness_n or_o power_n the_o word_n be_v the_o conduit_n to_o convey_v it_o but_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n be_v as_o the_o fountain_n that_o send_v it_o into_o the_o soul_n so_o that_o you_o must_v not_o think_v to_o have_v faith_n but_o by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o spirit_n and_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n he_o draw_v i_o from_o thence_o and_o lay_v fast_o hold_v on_o i_o and_o leave_v some_o remembrance_n of_o his_o be_v a_o work_n which_o the_o hypocrite_n may_v have_v only_o observe_v thus_o much_o he_o sip_v of_o grace_n and_o salvation_n and_o make_v a_o meal_n of_o his_o corruption_n but_o the_o gracious_a man_n only_o sip_v of_o his_o corruption_n and_o make_v a_o meal_n of_o grace_n of_o holiness_n &_o mercy_n in_o christ_n look_v as_o it_o be_v with_o seed_n that_o be_v cast_v into_o the_o womb_n of_o a_o woman_n the_o seed_n be_v enough_o to_o beget_v some_o fruit_n but_o if_o the_o womb_n be_v a_o miscarry_v womb_n it_o come_v to_o nothing_o so_o it_o be_v between_o the_o stir_n of_o the_o word_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o poor_a saint_n and_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o hypocrite_n the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n work_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o hypocrite_n by_o the_o word_n and_o be_v able_a to_o moisten_v he_o but_o the_o heart_n miscarry_v in_o the_o work_n and_o resist_v and_o gainsay_v and_o never_o come_v to_o any_o good_a he_o never_o come_v to_o be_v a_o faithful_a man_n right_o proportion_v whereas_o the_o same_o spirit_n of_o god_n work_v right_o upon_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o believer_n it_o make_v he_o a_o very_a proportionable_a christian_a the_o other_o remain_v but_o a_o confuse_a lump_n now_o see_v what_o this_o man_n may_v do_v when_o he_o come_v to_o this_o let_v he_o be_v thus_o bedew_v with_o this_o taste_n of_o the_o excellency_n of_o faith_n and_o never_o have_v faith_n strengthen_v and_o root_v in_o he_o yet_o he_o will_v be_v very_o eager_a in_o the_o pursuit_n of_o the_o word_n and_o marvellous_a constant_a in_o attend_v upon_o the_o of_o those_o that_o have_v it_o for_o if_o every_o man_n by_o nature_n be_v dead_a in_o sin_n and_o have_v no_o good_a of_o himself_o and_o can_v receive_v no_o good_a but_o rather_o oppose_v it_o then_o if_o he_o have_v any_o save_a work_n wrought_v in_o he_o it_o be_v god_n free_a gift_n therefore_o first_o the_o lord_n meet_v with_o a_o poor_a sinner_n and_o reveal_v himself_o to_o he_o lord_n write_v bitter_a thing_n against_o he_o and_o say_v friend_n this_o be_v not_o the_o way_n to_o happiness_n friend_n if_o you_o go_v that_o way_n there_o be_v the_o pit_n of_o destruction_n before_o you_o and_o so_o with_o a_o mighty_a strong_a command_a hand_n he_o stop_v the_o sinner_n by_o godly_a fear_n and_o sorrow_n and_o hatred_n and_o turn_v it_o from_o wickedness_n second_o the_o lord_n turn_v the_o heart_n to_o himself_o in_o vocation_n and_o the_o lord_n say_v come_v hither_o thou_o poor_a sinner_n do_v not_o go_v to_o thy_o lust_n they_o will_v kill_v thou_o but_o please_v with_o he_o and_o be_v reconcile_v to_o he_o and_o he_o give_v his_o spirit_n in_o adoption_n and_o that_o be_v as_o the_o poise_n that_o so_o he_o shall_v no_o more_o be_v rule_v by_o the_o world_n nor_o by_o his_o lust_n but_o by_o the_o good_a spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n do_v assist_v that_o poor_a soul_n for_o ever_o three_o the_o soul_n have_v receive_v the_o spirit_n by_o faith_n as_o gal._n 4.5_o receive_v hereby_o the_o adoption_n of_o son_n four_o now_o the_o whole_a frame_n of_o
