hinder_v for_o a_o time_n call_n may_v be_v very_o much_o hinder_v for_o a_o time_n partly_o in_o regard_n of_o loathness_n of_o heart_n to_o leave_v some_o lust_n though_o a_o man_n heart_n may_v be_v subdue_v and_o humble_v for_o the_o main_a yet_o there_o may_v be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o hold_v back_o though_o a_o man_n can_v stand_v out_o in_o sin_n as_o the_o wicked_a do_v yet_o there_o work_v in_o a_o smoky_a house_n though_o he_o work_v excellent_a thing_n a_o man_n can_v hardly_o perceive_v what_o he_o do_v so_o there_o be_v such_o a_o deal_n of_o smoke_n in_o the_o heart_n such_o a_o deal_n of_o corruption_n stir_v that_o it_o hide_v the_o sight_n of_o the_o work_n of_o god_n from_o a_o man_n yet_o the_o work_n of_o god_n go_v along_o as_o suppose_v two_o army_n in_o a_o field_n and_o the_o battle_n be_v doubtful_a the_o gun_n fly_v off_o and_o the_o sword_n clatter_n and_o the_o dust_n arise_v and_o there_o be_v such_o a_o confusion_n that_o neither_o themselves_o nor_o other_o know_v which_o way_n the_o battle_n will_v go_v but_o sometime_o some_o fall_n on_o one_o side_n and_o sometime_o some_o on_o the_o other_o side_n and_o if_o a_o man_n shall_v stand_v on_o a_o hill_n and_o see_v this_o battle_n he_o can_v tell_v on_o which_o side_n it_o will_v be_v sometime_o he_o think_v it_o will_v be_v on_o this_o side_n and_o by_o and_o by_o it_o be_v turn_v on_o the_o other_o side_n and_o so_o while_o it_o be_v doubtful_a it_o can_v be_v determine_v and_o conclude_v on_o which_o side_n the_o victory_n will_v fall_v so_o it_o be_v with_o the_o war_n between_o the_o flesh_n and_o the_o spirit_n the_o war_n be_v very_o doubtful_a before_o the_o odds_o begin_v for_o there_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o evenness_n at_o first_o nay_o the_o spirit_n seem_v to_o be_v the_o weak_a side_n and_o the_o flesh_n to_o be_v the_o strong_a and_o there_o be_v many_o fall_v and_o foil_n give_v to_o the_o soul_n and_o the_o flesh_n be_v too_o strong_a afterward_o it_o begin_v to_o be_v something_o equal_a and_o the_o battle_n to_o be_v poyze_v now_o while_o the_o battle_n be_v so_o doubtful_a a_o man_n can_v tell_v on_o which_o side_n the_o victory_n will_v be_v whether_o on_o the_o spirit_n side_n or_o on_o the_o flesh_n side_n whether_o on_o grace_n side_n or_o on_o sin_n side_n but_o when_o the_o warfare_n be_v accomplish_v i_o do_v not_o mean_v perfect_o for_o that_o will_v never_o be_v in_o this_o life_n a_o man_n may_v then_o see_v on_o which_o side_n the_o victory_n will_v go_v a_o man_n may_v see_v ten_o thousand_o or_o else_o rest_v upon_o god_n for_o it_o and_o hope_n undoubted_o for_o the_o accomplishment_n of_o it_o this_o hope_n i_o now_o speak_v of_o be_v in_o the_o king_n of_o niniveh_n who_o know_v but_o the_o lord_n may_v repent_v and_o turn_v from_o his_o fierce_a anger_n that_o we_o perish_v not_o i_o can_v tell_v but_o there_o be_v hope_v it_o may_v be_v and_o who_o know_v but_o god_n will_v do_v it_o and_o this_o hope_v make_v he_o humble_v himself_o and_o seek_v to_o god_n and_o there_o be_v a_o public_a kind_n of_o reformation_n outward_o so_o it_o be_v here_o the_o lord_n let_v in_o some_o hope_n who_o know_v but_o the_o lord_n will_v yet_o show_v mercy_n and_o it_o be_v not_o only_o a_o imaginary_a hope_n such_o a_o hope_n as_o vanish_v and_o leave_v a_o man_n in_o the_o lurch_n but_o this_o hope_n do_v stir_v up_o a_o man_n soul_n and_o provoke_v a_o man_n to_o look_v out_o to_o god_n for_o that_o mercy_n whereof_o he_o see_v a_o possibility_n of_o attain_v i_o come_v now_o to_o the_o reason_n of_o the_o point_n why_o the_o lord_n do_v work_v this_o hope_n despair_n reas_n 1._o to_o prevent_v despair_n in_o the_o soul_n and_o the_o first_o be_v this_o lest_o a_o man_n shall_v brain_n but_o a_o old_a heart_n this_o be_v not_o regeneration_n regeneration_n it_o be_v true_a begin_v in_o the_o understanding_n but_o it_o run_v along_o in_o all_o the_o soul_n it_o descend_v into_o heart_n and_o mind_n and_o all_o the_o whole_a man_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v call_v a_o new_a creature_n whosoever_o be_v in_o christ_n be_v a_o new_a creature_n behold_v i_o make_v all_o degree_n to_o another_o as_o this_o be_v do_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n so_o he_o do_v it_o more_o he_o proceed_v from_o little_a beginning_n to_o great_a perfection_n it_o be_v not_o so_o with_o relative_a change_n but_o a_o real_a change_n to_o a_o man_n if_o you_o will_v know_v the_o meaning_n of_o the_o phrase_n a_o relative_a change_n be_v this_o when_o there_o be_v a_o change_n in_o a_o man_n from_o that_o he_o be_v before_o but_o the_o change_n do_v not_o lie_v in_o a_o man_n as_o the_o change_n of_o justification_n before_o he_o be_v not_o justify_v now_o he_o be_v justify_v the_o man_n be_v change_v but_o he_o be_v not_o change_v in_o himself_o but_o it_o stand_v only_o in_o god_n imputation_n he_o be_v not_o just_a in_o himself_o but_o by_o imputation_n just_o now_o the_o real_a change_n be_v when_o god_n do_v purify_v and_o make_v up_o the_o defect_n in_o a_o man_n more_o and_o more_o that_o be_v a_o real_a change_n so_o that_o i_o say_v regeneration_n be_v not_o only_o a_o relative_a change_n whereby_o god_n account_v a_o man_n as_o a_o child_n but_o it_o breed_v a_o real_a change_n in_o a_o man_n it_o give_v a_o man_n a_o spiritual_a be_v for_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n when_o it_o come_v to_o work_v this_o work_n be_v a_o fruitful_a principle_n of_o all_o good_a in_o that_o man_n more_o and_o more_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n say_v the_o fruit_n
