great_a learning_n may_v dream_v of_o some_o great_a danger_n to_o themselves_o if_o they_o instruct_v not_o other_o allege_v that_o they_o hide_v in_o the_o earth_n the_o talon_n give_v they_o and_o do_v expect_v with_o the_o evil_a servant_n the_o heavy_a doom_n of_o the_o lord_n satan_n do_v so_o delude_v their_o fancy_n with_o ridiculous_a trifle_n who_o by_o this_o verse_n instruct_v aught_o to_o know_v that_o it_o be_v not_o we_o who_o teach_v neither_o be_v it_o our_o word_n which_o be_v teach_v but_o only_o our_o mouth_n may_v do_v service_n unto_o his_o word_n if_o he_o will_v and_o call_v thou_o he_o say_v have_v perfect_v praise_n not_o they_o not_o we_o and_o so_o in_o the_o gospel_n the_o lord_n true_o deliver_v talent_n to_o his_o servant_n but_o they_o be_v first_o call_v word_n be_v these_o i_o will_v pour_v water_n upon_o he_o that_o be_v thirsty_a and_o flood_n upon_o the_o dry_a ground_n i_o will_v pour_v my_o spirit_n upon_o thy_o seed_n and_o my_o blessing_n upon_o thou_o of_o spring_n answer_n these_o word_n prescribe_v nothing_o they_o only_o promise_v a_o effusion_n of_o the_o word_n of_o grace_n and_o the_o comfort_n of_o grace_n and_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n and_o blessing_n upon_o the_o church_n child_n both_o jew_n and_o gentile_a but_o i_o conceive_v it_o be_v a_o very_a hard_a task_n for_o the_o objector_n to_o prove_v that_o they_o prescribe_v layman_n uncalled_a to_o teach_v for_o though_o the_o lord_n be_v please_v upon_o the_o gentile_n who_o be_v as_o a_o thirsty_a and_o dry_a ground_n to_o pour_v out_o his_o water_n that_o be_v make_v they_o partaker_n of_o the_o word_n of_o grace_n according_a to_o the_o comparison_n by_o moses_n 2._o and_o of_o the_o flood_n that_o be_v of_o the_o comfort_n of_o grace_n these_o live_a spring_n as_o our_o saviour_n call_v they_o 39_o yet_o it_o be_v ridiculous_a to_o say_v that_o therefore_o layman_n uncalled_a may_v prophesy_v and_o as_o inconsequential_a it_o be_v to_o say_v that_o because_o god_n will_v pour_v his_o spirit_n on_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o church_n and_o his_o blessing_n on_o her_o offspring_n therefore_o layman_n may_v preach_v though_o god_n pour_v his_o spirit_n on_o the_o seed_n yet_o the_o seed_n be_v not_o bind_v to_o pour_v out_o but_o must_v stay_v till_o god_n have_v send_v and_o give_v a_o commission_n to_o go_v and_o drop_v the_o word_n 2._o as_o he_o do_v to_o the_o prophet_n beside_o the_o very_a next_o verse_n in_o isaiah_n 44._o show_n that_o the_o pour_n of_o water_n and_o flood_n and_o the_o spirit_n on_o the_o seed_n be_v not_o a_o pour_v that_o the_o seed_n shall_v pour_v but_o that_o the_o seed_n shall_v grow_v and_o increase_v namely_o in_o piety_n and_o in_o the_o exercise_n of_o the_o several_a grace_n of_o the_o
