learn_v in_o silence_n with_o all_o due_a subjection_n and_o indeed_o it_o concern_v all_o both_o man_n and_o woman_n to_o be_v very_o careful_a in_o these_o respect_n and_o also_o to_o be_v cautious_a that_o under_o the_o pretence_n of_o divine_a motion_n they_o be_v not_o find_v go_v into_o foolish_a whimsy_n and_o extreme_n out_o of_o the_o liberty_n and_o confine_n of_o christian_a prudence_n decency_n and_o moderation_n but_o that_o all_o keep_v under_o the_o guidance_n conduct_v government_n order_n and_o discipline_n of_o the_o bless_a and_o holy_a spirit_n and_o power_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n otherwise_o it_o may_v be_v say_v of_o man_n as_o well_o as_o woman_n let_v they_o keep_v silence_n in_o the_o church_n for_o it_o be_v not_o permit_v unto_o they_o to_o speak_v in_o a_o spiritual_a unpreparedness_n and_o in_o dis-union_n with_o god_n and_o his_o people_n nor_o in_o any_o rule_n undecent_a or_o disorderly_a manner_n for_o our_o god_n be_v not_o the_o author_n of_o confusion_n but_o of_o peace_n as_o in_o all_o the_o church_n of_o the_o saint_n 1_o cor._n 14.33_o section_n viii_o concern_v the_o rise_n of_o gospel_n performance_n and_o the_o qualification_n of_o gospel_n minister_n show_v that_o they_o be_v not_o from_o human_a learning_n worldly_a wisdom_n and_o natural_a art_n and_o science_n but_o from_o the_o divine_a spirit_n from_o what_o have_v be_v say_v concern_v the_o christian_a ministry_n it_o be_v clear_o manifest_a that_o the_o virtue_n and_o power_n of_o the_o divine_a spirit_n be_v absolute_o necessary_a for_o the_o qualify_a call_v and_o constitute_v of_o a_o gospel_n minister_n and_o that_o it_o be_v by_o the_o secret_a help_n motion_n and_o assistance_n thereof_o that_o every_o true_a evangelist_n and_o gospel_n minister_n be_v to_o be_v act_v and_o supply_v in_o the_o performance_n of_o their_o duty_n and_o service_n otherwise_o it_o do_v no_o way_n appear_v that_o they_o can_v either_o be_v acceptable_a unto_o god_n or_o beneficial_a unto_o man_n inasmuch_o as_o man_n of_o himself_o in_o his_o natural_a and_o unrenewed_a state_n notwithstanding_o his_o outward_a ability_n as_o to_o human_a learning_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o stranger_n unto_o god_n and_o real_o anacquaint_v with_o the_o mystery_n of_o his_o heavenly_a kingdom_n for_o although_o school_n learning_n worldly_a wisdom_n and_o human_a art_n and_o science_n be_v much_o look_v upon_o and_o applaud_v in_o this_o our_o age_n as_o qualification_n absolute_o necessary_a for_o the_o gospel_n ministry_n yet_o we_o no_o where_n find_v any_o such_o â—ress_n lay_v upon_o the_o same_o in_o the_o scripture_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a it_o rather_o appear_v from_o thence_o that_o the_o knowledge_n of_o divine_a and_o spiritual_a mystery_n be_v hide_v from_o the_o worldly_a wise_a and_o be_v reveal_v unto_o those_o who_o by_o the_o virtue_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n be_v bear_v again_o and_o so_o be_v become_v babe_n in_o christ_n unto_o this_o our_o lord_n jesus_n have_v give_v a_o very_a plain_a and_o ample_a testimony_n luke_n 10.21_o 22._o in_o that_o hour_n jesus_n rejoice_v in_o spirit_n
