in_o each_o of_o they_o he_o allege_v our_o doctrine_n transgress_v the_o first_o commandment_n because_o we_o say_v all_o prayer_n and_o worship_n that_o be_v perform_v without_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v will-worship_n and_o superstition_n and_o consequent_o no_o wicked_a or_o unregenerate_a person_n be_v bind_v to_o worship_n god_n or_o indeed_o in_o any_o respect_n to_o obey_v god_n and_o spirit_n according_a to_o the_o express_a word_n of_o christ_n and_o that_o none_o be_v true_a worshipper_n of_o god_n but_o such_o as_o worship_v he_o n_o the_o spirit_n and_o that_o god_n require_v no_o lifeless_a or_o spiritless_a worship_n yet_o we_o still_o affirm_v that_o all_o mankind_n ought_v to_o worship_n god_n and_o call_v upon_o he_o even_o all_o the_o wicked_a and_o unrenewed_a person_n as_o well_o as_o the_o renew_a so_o that_o in_o the_o thing_n of_o worship_n itself_o we_o have_v no_o controversy_n whether_o it_o be_v due_a unto_o god_n by_o all_o mankind_n but_o the_o state_n of_o the_o question_n lie_v here_o betwixt_o we_o and_o those_o that_o dissent_v from_o we_o what_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n be_v and_o what_o kind_n or_o sort_n of_o worship_n it_o be_v that_o god_n require_v of_o all_o man_n and_o in_o answer_n thereunto_o we_o say_v the_o true_a worship_n of_o god_n be_v a_o spiritual_a worship_n require_v the_o sincerity_n of_o the_o heart_n not_o observable_a that_o under_o the_o gospel_n no_o particular_a set_v or_o limit_a time_n be_v appoint_v for_o vocal_a prayer_n but_o every_o one_o be_v to_o wait_v to_o know_v the_o time_n of_o the_o spirit_n call_v and_o move_v thereunto_o which_o will_v be_v seasonable_o and_o frequent_o afford_v to_o such_o as_o wait_v single_o therefore_o especial_o when_o the_o people_n of_o god_n assemble_v willing_o and_o sincere_o acknowledge_v that_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n in_o what_o he_o do_v and_o suffer_v for_o we_o outward_o in_o his_o own_o person_n be_v impute_v unto_o we_o for_o justification_n and_o so_o much_o i_o do_v acknowledge_v in_o my_o book_n already_o mention_v but_o we_o further_o say_v that_o all_o to_o who_o that_o be_v impute_v which_o christ_n do_v and_o ignorance_n or_o prejudice_n can_v from_o this_o infer_v that_o there_o be_v not_o any_o degree_n of_o it_o in_o the_o world_n in_o former_a time_n and_o i._n a._n may_v as_o well_o argue_v against_o
