degree_n of_o perfection_n this_o sort_n of_o singularity_n common_o proceed_v from_o a_o mixture_n of_o pride_n and_o ignorance_n when_o person_n have_v high_a conceit_n of_o themselves_o and_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n have_v little_a clear_a and_o distinct_a knowledge_n of_o the_o principle_n of_o godliness_n possible_o they_o have_v some_o loose_a and_o break_a insight_n into_o divine_a truth_n but_o do_v not_o understand_v the_o mystery_n of_o religion_n in_o their_o combination_n as_o they_o be_v connect_v and_o knit_v together_o in_o such_o case_n they_o be_v exceed_o apt_a to_o run_v into_o these_o byway_n of_o their_o own_o the_o apostle_n seem_v to_o reduce_v it_o unto_o these_o two_o head_n viz._n ignorance_n and_o self_n conceitedness_n 1_o tim._n 6.3_o 4._o if_o any_o man_n niceness_n as_o to_o such_o toy_n and_o trifle_n so_o the_o pharisee_n of_o old_a neglect_v the_o power_n of_o godliness_n judgement_n mercy_n and_o faith_n and_o keep_v a_o great_a ado_n about_o
