the_o opinion_n and_o colour_n of_o his_o well-known_a wisdom_n and_o sagacity_n he_o may_v beguile_v the_o woman_n for_o the_o assoil_n of_o which_o difficulty_n i_o offer_v these_o proposition_n follow_v first_o i_o will_v suppose_v there_o be_v a_o law_n in_o the_o commerce_n of_o spirit_n and_o man_n that_o a_o spirit_n must_v present_v himself_o under_o the_o shape_n of_o some_o visible_a thing_n for_o as_o in_o natural_a and_o bodily_a thing_n there_o be_v no_o intercourse_n of_o action_n and_o passion_n unless_o the_o thing_n have_v some_o proportion_n each_o to_o other_o and_o unless_o they_o communicate_v in_o some_o common_a matter_n so_o it_o seem_v god_n have_v ordain_v a_o law_n that_o invisible_a thing_n shall_v converse_v with_o thing_n visible_a in_o a_o shape_n as_o they_o be_v visible_a which_o be_v so_o true_a that_o the_o converse_v presence_n of_o a_o spirit_n be_v call_v a_o vision_n or_o apparition_n and_o experience_n with_o the_o scripture_n will_v show_v we_o that_o not_o only_o evil_a angel_n but_o good_a yea_o god_n himself_o converse_v in_o this_o manner_n with_o man_n and_o all_o this_o i_o suppose_v eve_n know_v second_o i_o suppose_v such_o thing_n as_o may_v less_a or_o more_o resemble_v their_o condition_n for_o as_o in_o nature_n we_o see_v every_o several_a thing_n have_v a_o several_a and_o suitable_a physiognomy_n or_o figure_n as_o a_o badge_n of_o the_o inward_a nature_n whereby_o it_o be_v know_v as_o by_o a_o habit_n of_o distinction_n so_o it_o seem_v to_o be_v in_o the_o shape_n and_o apparition_n of_o spirit_n and_o as_o in_o a_o well_o govern_v commonwealth_n every_o sort_n and_o condition_n of_o man_n be_v know_v by_o some_o differ_a habit_n agreeable_a to_o his_o quality_n so_o it_o seem_v it_o shall_v be_v in_o god_n great_a commonwealth_n concern_v the_o shape_n which_o spirit_n take_v upon_o they_o and_o he_o that_o give_v the_o law_n that_o a_o man_n shall_v not_o wear_v the_o habit_n of_o a_o woman_n nor_o a_o woman_n the_o habit_n of_o a_o man_n because_o as_o he_o have_v make_v they_o divers_a so_o will_v he_o have_v they_o so_o know_v by_o their_o habit_n so_o it_o seem_v he_o will_v not_o suffer_v a_o good_a and_o a_o bad_a spirit_n a_o noble_a and_o ignoble_a one_o
