from_o christ_n and_o mar_v his_o allow_a consolation_n and_o for_o this_o end_n they_o will_v beware_v of_o passion_n which_o desire_n do_v quarrel_n with_o and_o be_v jealous_a of_o christ_n of_o ignorance_n and_o mistake_v his_o mind_n in_o trouble_n and_o of_o carnal_a expectation_n the_o disappointment_n whereof_o may_v crush_v they_o 5._o whatever_o be_v saint_n duty_n to_o oppose_v discouragement_n and_o trouble_n yet_o it_o be_v christ_n only_a who_o be_v the_o physician_n of_o trouble_a soul_n and_o who_o must_v speak_v the_o word_n and_o set_v they_o on_o work_n for_o he_o it_o be_v who_o give_v this_o comfortable_a counsel_n and_o direction_n 6._o christ_n be_v so_o tender_a of_o his_o grieve_a and_o trouble_a people_n that_o whatever_o weakness_n they_o kithe_v yet_o he_o will_v make_v it_o his_o chief_a work_n to_o see_v to_o their_o encouragement_n therefore_o albeit_o he_o have_v his_o own_o bitter_a trouble_n chap._n 13.21_o and_o be_v that_o night_n and_o the_o day_n follow_v to_o grapple_v with_o wrath_n and_o hell_n and_o death_n yet_o he_o forget_v all_o that_o and_o spend_v his_o time_n in_o comfort_v and_o ease_v they_o let_v not_o your_o heart_n be_v trouble_v 7._o such_o as_o take_v up_o christ_n right_o will_v not_o be_v much_o dismay_v at_o what_o befall_v he_o or_o he_o therefore_o do_v he_o point_v out_o
obedience_n must_v flow_v not_o only_o from_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n but_o from_o love_n and_o sense_n of_o our_o obligation_n to_o christ_n also_o and_o disciple_n will_v look_v on_o commandment_n holy_a spirit_n proceed_v from_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n so_o he_o be_v give_v by_o both_o in_o their_o order_n of_o subsistence_n to_o believer_n 8._o in_o expect_v this_o great_a promise_n of_o the_o comforter_n believer_n ought_v not_o to_o look_v to_o their_o own_o merit_n or_o the_o worth_n of_o their_o obedience_n which_o can_v promise_v no_o such_o thing_n but_o their_o eye_n must_v be_v fix_v on_o the_o free_a grace_n of_o god_n who_o do_v free_o gift_n his_o
spirit_n to_o his_o own_o for_o albeit_o a_o duty_n be_v require_v of_o they_o who_o expect_v this_o mercy_n ver_fw-la 15._o yet_o say_v he_o the_o father_n shall_v give_v you_o another_o comforter_n in_o their_o uncomfortable_a and_o orphan-condition_n but_o will_v come_v again_o unto_o they_o not_o only_o in_o his_o bodily_a presence_n after_o his_o resurrection_n and_o at_o the_o great_a day_n but_o by_o his_o spirit_n as_o a_o assure_a pledge_n of_o his_o presence_n till_o at_o last_o he_o return_v to_o complete_a their_o redemption_n whence_o learn_v 1._o such_o be_v ofttimes_o the_o weakness_n of_o believer_n faith_n and_o the_o abundance_n and_o greatness_n of_o their_o discouragement_n that_o promise_n must_v be_v often_o repeat_v before_o they_o can_v admit_v of_o they_o or_o be_v comfort_v in_o they_o therefore_o after_o the_o former_a promise_n of_o another_o comforter_n he_o must_v and_o do_v over_o again_o tell_v they_o i_o will_v not_o leave_v you_o comfortless_o 2._o soul_n to_o christ_n so_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n where_o he_o undertake_v this_o work_n in_o his_o own_o will_v effectual_o carry_v they_o through_o they_o all_o in_o their_o due_a order_n be_v the_o only_a true_a god_n or_o godhead_n in_o opposition_n to_o all_o idol_n and_o suppose_a deity_n not_o seclude_v the_o other_o person_n in_o who_o that_o true_a godhead_n subsist_v also_o see_v the_o essence_n be_v one_o in_o all_o the_o three_o and_o every_o one_o of_o they_o be_v that_o only_o true_a god_n withal_o for_o confirmation_n of_o this_o it_o will_v be_v consider_v that_o in_o scripture_n there_o be_v such_o word_n of_o restriction_n make_v use_v of_o in_o thing_n ascribe_v to_o one_o or_o other_o person_n of_o the_o godhead_n which_o yet_o be_v not_o to_o be_v take_v
