how_o they_o be_v distinguish_v namely_o into_o the_o act_n of_o the_o spirit_n dwell_v in_o the_o conscience_n and_o into_o the_o act_n of_o the_o rational_a soul_n dwell_v in_o the_o memorative_n understanding_n and_o will_v faculty_n to_o which_o the_o whole_a sensual_a life_n and_o all_o the_o act_n of_o the_o inward_a and_o outward_a sense_n be_v subordinate_a the_o relation_n wherein_o these_o act_n stand_v one_o to_o another_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o property_n of_o these_o faculty_n whence_o they_o proceed_v be_v this_o that_o the_o faculty_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o act_n itself_o before_o we_o proceed_v to_o meditate_v upon_o any_o particular_a object_n for_o except_o the_o conscience_n be_v clear_a and_o at_o rest_n in_o respect_n of_o god_n the_o understanding_n will_v not_o perform_v the_o duty_n aright_o and_o if_o the_o understand_a faculty_n be_v out_o of_o order_n the_o sense_n will_v not_o be_v well_o employ_v administer_v and_o seek_v out_o evidence_n
