untimely_a but_o most_o seasonable_a upon_o such_o occasion_n as_o these_o be_v the_o text_n divide_v it_o into_o these_o two_o general_a part_n first_o the_o brevity_n of_o man_n life_n in_o those_o word_n behold_v thou_o have_v make_v my_o day_n as_o a_o hand-breadth_n second_o the_o vanity_n of_o man_n life_n in_o the_o last_o word_n very_o every_o man_n at_o his_o best_a estate_n be_v &c_n &c_n in_o the_o first_o there_o be_v these_o two_o thing_n considerable_a of_o we_o 1._o a_o excitation_n of_o attention_n in_o that_o word_n behold_v 2._o a_o excellent_a description_n of_o man_n sudden_a dissolution_n thou_o have_v make_v my_o day_n as_o a_o hand-breadth_n again_o in_o the_o description_n there_o be_v two_o thing_n also_o more_o worthy_a of_o our_o notice_n 1._o who_o it_o be_v that_o limit_n man_n life_n it_o be_v god_n thou_o o_o lord_n have_v make_v &_o c._n 2._o the_o line_n wherewith_o our_o life_n be_v measure_v and_o that_o also_o it_o two_o fold_n 1._o by_o be_v self_n if_o we_o consider_v be_v in_o its_o own_o frailty_n so_o the_o just_a measure_n of_o our_o life_n it_o be_v a_o hand-breadth_n 2._o if_o we_o consider_v it_o by_o the_o line_n of_o eternity_n so_o it_o be_v find_v to_o be_v as_o just_a nothing_o my_o again_o as_o nothing_o before_o thou_o
therefore_o in_o every_o thing_n give_v thanks_o and_o i_o must_v tell_v you_o also_o that_o if_o we_o thus_o bless_v god_n in_o our_o affliction_n our_o very_a affliction_n will_v prove_v blessing_n to_o we_o let_v we_o therefore_o when_o god_n take_v away_o such_o blessing_n from_o we_o bless_v god_n for_o it_o and_o submit_v our_o will_n to_o his_o will_n and_o pray_v that_o he_o will_v sanctify_v these_o thing_n to_o we_o and_o then_o all_o thing_n shall_v prove_v best_a for_o we_o set_a not_o your_o heart_n too_o much_o on_o any_o earthly_a comfort_n i_o have_v be_v the_o long_o
