abase_v at_o the_o foul_a spot_n therein_o yet_o we_o forget_v present_o the_o true_a hue_n thereof_o and_o so_o lose_v ourselves_o at_o home_n even_o when_o we_o seek_v to_o find_v thou_o abroad_o depart_v always_o without_o sound_a comfort_n from_o thy_o presence_n because_o we_o can_v not_o endure_v to_o be_v thorough_o abase_v in_o ourselves_o before_o thou_o and_o thus_o have_v it_o befall_v we_o holy_a lord_n even_o while_o we_o have_v endeavour_v to_o honour_v thou_o in_o thy_o ordinance_n that_o while_n we_o have_v rather_o seek_v therein_o our_o own_o glory_n than_o thou_o and_o desire_v rather_o the_o outward_a credit_n of_o profession_n than_o the_o power_n of_o conversion_n and_o renew_v of_o our_o inward_a spirit_n though_o thou_o give_v we_o our_o desire_n to_o thy_o omniscienced_a righteousness_n as_o if_o either_o thou_o do_v not_o discern_v our_o inward_a rottenness_n or_o do_v approve_v of_o our_o outside_n and_o bodily_a worship_n and_o do_v ever_o any_o fight_n against_o god_n and_o prosper_v even_o so_o lord_n have_v it_o fare_v with_o i_o this_o day_n my_o own_o proud_a heart_n have_v fight_v against_o thou_o in_o the_o use_n and_o sense_n of_o all_o thy_o blessing_n seek_v to_o serve_v myself_o by_o they_o and_o not_o thy_o glory_n and_o so_o to_o harden_v my_o heart_n therewith_o that_o though_o thou_o fille_v the_o hungry_a with_o good_a thing_n yet_o do_v thou_o send_v i_o away_o empty_a of_o true_a comfort_n because_o my_o proud_a and_o swell_a heart_n utter_o exclude_v the_o same_o and_o so_o it_o just_o befall_v i_o too_o long_o because_o my_o mind_n be_v on_o my_o belly_n yea_o sometime_o wish_v my_o care_n short_a and_o more_o slow_a to_o hear_v that_o so_o i_o may_v not_o conceive_v what_o be_v contrary_a unto_o my_o corruption_n that_o i_o may_v as_o it_o be_v bless_v my_o soul_n in_o my_o shallow_a and_o counterfeit_a holiness_n and_o what_o i_o yet_o conceive_v how_o quick_o either_o do_v i_o lose_v it_o that_o i_o may_v not_o find_v myself_o or_o how_o foolish_o do_v i_o turn_v it_o to_o the_o puff_v up_o of_o my_o flesh_n with_o a_o conceit_n of_o knowledge_n or_o to_o the_o adore_v of_o the_o vessel_n that_o yield_v the_o treasure_n that_o so_o he_o also_o may_v cloak_n &_o magnify_v i_o o_o lord_n how_o my_o deceitful_a heart_n cozen_v itself_o herein_o either_o in_o apply_v what_o i_o hear_v to_o other_o as_o if_o myself_o be_v not_o aim_v at_o that_o so_o i_o may_v hereby_o commit_v two_o evil_n both_o to_o condemn_v other_o and_o justify_v myself_o or_o else_o in_o misapply_v what_o i_o hear_v unto_o myself_o fasten_v on_o such_o comfort_n as_o do_v not_o belong_v unto_o i_o or_o slight_v such_o terror_n as_o special_o aim_v at_o my_o sore_n what_o shall_v i_o say_v unto_o thou_o o_o thou_o more_o inward_a with_o i_o than_o my_o inmost_a part_n though_o my_o ear_n be_v sometime_o tickle_v yet_o my_o heart_n be_v not_o move_v at_o all_o or_o more_o harden_a by_o its_o contrary_a motion_n though_o my_o heart_n be_v strike_v for_o the_o present_a and_o shake_v by_o thy_o terror_n yet_o it_o be_v calm_v again_o by_o the_o enchantment_n of_o hypocrisy_n and_o of_o what_o i_o have_v hear_v for_o their_o further_a build_v up_o in_o knowledge_n and_o obedience_n and_o because_o i_o have_v be_v so_o careless_a in_o attend_v thou_o therefore_o thou_o do_v know_v that_o thou_o o_o lord_n do_v reign_v in_o all_o age_n to_o the_o behoof_n of_o thy_o church_n and_o terror_n of_o thinâ—_n enemy_n grant_v these_o mercy_n good_a lord_n not_o only_o to_o a_o whole_a church_n in_o general_a but_o especial_o to_o every_o one_o of_o we_o thy_o child_n particular_o grant_v that_o we_o may_v affectual_o feel_v the_o force_n of_o this_o thy_o kingdom_n in_o our_o heart_n beat_v down_o in_o we_o our_o old_a adam_n with_o all_o sinful_a delight_n thought_n motion_n and_o desire_n and_o renew_v in_o we_o day_n by_o day_n our_o spiritual_a and_o inward_a man_n that_o we_o may_v be_v whole_o bend_v to_o delight_n think_v desire_v &_o do_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v acceptable_a in_o thy_o sight_n the_o three_o petition_n thy_o will_v be_v do_v in_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o heaven_n frame_v our_o heart_n good_a lord_n with_o such_o humble_a obedience_n to_o thy_o holy_a will_n that_o we_o may_v be_v hearty_o well_o content_a with_o whatsoever_o it_o please_v thy_o goodness_n to_o lay_v upon_o we_o that_o we_o never_o cease_v in_o our_o misery_n but_o continual_o call_v on_o thou_o by_o hearty_a prayre_n athough_o we_o feel_v no_o release_n at_o all_o yet_o that_o still_o patient_o we_o may_v abide_v and_o quiet_o wait_v for_o thy_o good_a leisure_n and_o appoint_a time_n of_o deliverance_n when_o thou_o know_v it_o shall_v be_v most_o expedient_a for_o us._n the_o four_o petition_n give_v we_o this_o day_n our_o daily_a bread_n grant_v we_o dear_a father_n that_o all_o our_o counsel_n study_n labour_n and_o endeavour_n be_v by_o thy_o holy_a spirit_n guide_v and_o frame_v we_o may_v every_o one_o in_o that_o vocation_n in_o which_o thou_o have_v place_v he_o so_o fairhful_o travail_v to_o the_o whether_o they_o be_v many_o or_o few_o acknowledge_v they_o to_o be_v receive_v of_o thou_o not_o greedy_o to_o care_n for_o they_o or_o vain_o to_o delight_v in_o they_o and_o thankful_o esteem_v of_o they_o as_o thy_o benefit_n bestow_v upon_o we_o and_o as_o faithful_a steward_n moderate_o to_o use_v they_o to_o the_o relief_n of_o our_o brother_n and_o discharge_v of_o our_o conscience_n the_o five_o petition_n forgive_v we_o our_o trespass_n as_o we_o forgive_v they_o that_o trespass_n against_o us._n increase_v in_o we_o o_o lord_n the_o gift_n of_o faith_n that_o we_o may_v daily_o more_o &_o more_o in_o our_o soul_n and_o conscience_n be_v assure_v that_o our_o sin_n be_v deface_v clean_o blot_v out_o and_o cover_v with_o the_o full_a perfect_a and_o sufficient_a sacrifice_n of_o thy_o dear_a son_n christ_n jesu_n our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n once_o make_v for_o we_o that_o we_o be_v unite_v knit_v and_o make_v one_o body_n with_o he_o partaker_n of_o his_o righteousnc_n thy_o unspeakable_a goodness_n and_o mercy_n forget_v from_o our_o heart_n our_o brother_n that_o do_v offend_v we_o pray_v for_o they_o love_n cherish_v and_o comfort_v they_o as_o fellow_n member_n all_o of_o one_o body_n with_o perfect_a natural_a love_n and_o compassion_n link_v together_o unto_o our_o head_n christ_n jesus_n the_o sixth_o petition_n lead_v we_o not_o into_o temptation_n pass_v all_o man_n in_o goodness_n and_o mercy_n so_o thou_o will_v deny_v we_o nothing_o which_o shall_v be_v expedient_a for_o us._n so_o that_o although_o all_o the_o father_n that_o be_v in_o earth_n have_v shake_v off_o all_o see_n of_o fatherly_a naturalnesse_n will_v forsake_v their_o child_n yet_o will_v thou_o never_o forsake_v we_o because_o thou_o can_v not_o deny_v thyself_o who_o promise_v that_o if_o earthly_a father_n be_v evil_a can_v give_v good_a gift_n to_o their_o child_n how_o much_o more_o will_v thou_o our_o heavenly_a father_n be_v altogether_o goodness_n itself_o give_v good_a thing_n to_o they_o that_o ask_v in_o thy_o son_n name_n and_o that_o although_o a_o mother_n shall_v forsake_v her_o child_n yet_o will_v thou_o not_o forsake_v we_o thy_o child_n who_o thou_o have_v before_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o world_n in_o thy_o dear_a son_n jesus_n christ_n choose_v to_o be_v thy_o child_n &_o heir_n with_o he_o of_o thy_o immortal_a kingdom_n whereof_o that_o we_o ourselves_o may_v be_v sure_a and_o certain_a and_o out_o of_o all_o doubt_n that_o we_o be_v the_o child_n â—nd_v heir_n of_o everlasting_a life_n thou_o have_v give_v into_o our_o the_o more_o i_o may_v convince_v the_o obliquity_n thereof_o that_o howsoever_o i_o seem_v to_o be_v alive_a as_o be_v ignorant_a of_o my_o misery_n yet_o now_o discern_v myself_o in_o thy_o righteous_a law_n i_o may_v not_o only_o acknowledge_v myself_o dead_a in_o sin_n and_o trespass_n and_o so_o utter_o senseless_a and_o unable_a to_o help_v myself_o but_o also_o may_v renounce_v miss_v of_o it_o so_o to_o walk_v as_o a_o stranger_n &_o pilgrim_n in_o the_o world_n not_o clog_a myself_o in_o my_o journey_n with_o
may_v daily_o grow_v up_o in_o christ_n to_o perfect_a holiness_n &_o therefore_o though_o corruption_n remain_v in_o i_o yet_o see_v it_o do_v not_o reign_v in_o i_o here_o be_v my_o comfort_n that_o i_o be_o not_o under_o the_o law_n but_o under_o grace_n &_o though_o i_o be_o sometime_o as_o no_o better_a than_o lose_v in_o myself_o yet_o this_o be_v that_o i_o may_v still_o deny_v my_o own_o
