be_v absolute_a and_o more_o firm_a our_o expectation_n of_o the_o other_o be_v less_o firm_a and_o always_o with_o submission_n either_o express_v or_o understand_v unto_o the_o will_n of_o god_n in_o resolve_v this_o case_n absolute_o 2_o case_n whether_o a_o man_n may_v ask_v temporal_a thing_n absolute_o whether_o a_o man_n may_v ask_v temporal_a thing_n absolute_o i_o will_v with_o it_o propound_v and_o answer_v another_o case_n to_o wit_n whether_o when_o a_o man_n have_v ask_v temporal_a thing_n he_o may_v expect_v they_o absolute_o they_o whether_o when_o a_o man_n have_v ask_v such_o as_o hallow_v of_o god_n name_n come_v of_o his_o kingdom_n and_o do_v of_o his_o will_n also_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n and_o grace_n to_o convert_v repent_v and_o to_o live_v godly_a these_o thing_n be_v ask_v in_o the_o truth_n of_o our_o heart_n we_o must_v say_v amen_o unto_o they_o with_o a_o full_a and_o absolute_a assurance_n that_o our_o petition_n be_v grant_v for_o of_o these_o thing_n the_o promise_n be_v absolute_a but_o as_o for_o petition_n concern_v our_o outward_a man_n &_o state_n of_o life_n and_o concern_v such_o and_o such_o degree_n and_o measure_n of_o grace_n and_o concern_v the_o feel_n of_o comfort_n in_o the_o assurance_n of_o our_o forgiveness_n all_o which_o be_v lawful_a and_o needful_a to_o be_v pray_v for_o though_o we_o must_v say_v amen_o to_o these_o also_o with_o true_a assurance_n that_o god_n hear_v and_o be_v well_o please_v with_o those_o our_o petition_n yet_o we_o must_v not_o say_v amen_o with_o that_o absolute_a expectation_n of_o enjoy_v the_o thing_n ask_v for_o these_o be_v ask_v with_o a_o reservation_n still_o unto_o god_n will_n both_o when_o he_o shall_v please_v and_o in_o what_o measure_n he_o shall_v in_o his_o gracious_a pleasure_n think_v good_a for_o my_o part_n therefore_o upon_o the_o former_a ground_n i_o conceive_v that_o though_o temporal_a good_a thing_n as_o health_n liberty_n peace_n life_n and_o suggest_v unto_o you_o but_o pray_v daily_o and_o since_o you_o have_v a_o promise_n of_o audience_n believe_v and_o hope_v even_o above_o your_o feel_n and_o above_o hope_n for_o it_o will_v not_o be_v in_o vain_a that_o you_o still_o pray_v prayer_n be_v a_o duty_n to_o god_n now_o if_o you_o pray_v though_o for_o the_o present_a you_o have_v no_o other_o benefit_n but_o this_o the_o discharge_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n in_o obedience_n to_o god_n this_o will_v give_v some_o secret_a support_n to_o the_o soul_n but_o be_v you_o assure_v 9_o gal._n 6_o 9_o as_o in_o all_o
