church_n 7._o error_n that_o man_n now_o be_v not_o to_o receive_v the_o spirit_n in_o that_o immediate_a error_n way_n to_o understand_v the_o scripture_n in_o which_o it_o be_v give_v to_o they_o the_o scripture_n and_o by_o this_o spirit_n only_o do_v holy_a man_n of_o god_n understand_v the_o scripture_n as_o paul_n say_v 1_o cor._n 2._o 12._o now_o we_o have_v receive_v not_o the_o spirit_n understand_v it_o and_o though_o this_o thing_n be_v clear_a in_o itself_o yet_o i_o judge_v it_o convenient_a to_o add_v here_o the_o testimony_n of_o luther_n and_o calvin_n in_o this_o matter_n luther_n say_v the_o scripture_n be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v but_o by_o that_o very_a spirit_n by_o which_o they_o be_v write_v which_o spirit_n can_v be_v nowhere_o find_v more_o ready_o and_o effectual_o then_o in_o those_o holy_a letter_n of_o he_o which_o he_o have_v write_v and_o calvin_n say_v the_o same_o spirit_n that_o speak_v by_o the_o 4._o month_n of_o the_o prophet_n it_o be_v
