not_o troublesome_a dream_n and_o vain_a fantasy_n and_o apparition_n of_o the_o night_n nor_o the_o devil_n disquiet_a us._n defend_v we_o this_o night_n from_o unclean_a and_o troublesome_a spirit_n let_v not_o their_o rushing_n raging_n and_o misrule_n disquiet_v us._n keep_v we_o good_a lord_n from_o sight_n of_o satan_n from_o snare_n and_o illusion_n of_o the_o devil_n but_o admonish_v our_o soul_n of_o misery_n to_o come_v even_o as_o thou_o do_v arm_v the_o patriarch_n and_o prophet_n by_o dream_n and_o vision_n in_o the_o night_n when_o sleep_n come_v upon_o they_o from_o danger_n nigh_o at_o hand_n through_o thy_o heavenly_a oracle_n so_o govern_v and_o preserve_v we_o in_o sleep_n that_o our_o soul_n come_v not_o into_o danger_n danger_n neither_o fall_n upon_o the_o sword_n and_o pit_n of_o peril_n let_v we_o not_o sleep_v in_o sin_n and_o contempt_n of_o salvation_n as_o do_v the_o child_n of_o night_n and_o darkness_n but_o make_v we_o of_o the_o number_n of_o those_o which_o sleep_n in_o jesus_n and_o who_o thou_o o_o lord_n in_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o just_a &_o come_v of_o thy_o son_n shall_v not_o suffer_v to_o be_v prevent_v with_o sleep_n but_o will_v bring_v with_o thou_o elect_v to_o meet_v he_o in_o the_o cloud_n that_o whether_o we_o wake_v or_o sleep_v we_o may_v live_v together_o with_o he_o and_o obtain_v everlasting_a salvation_n through_o the_o merit_n of_o his_o death_n &_o passion_n in_o thy_o name_n o_o sweet_a jesu_n will_v we_o give_v sleep_n to_o our_o eye_n and_o slumber_n to_o our_o eye_n lid_n o_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n save_v we_o lord_n watch_v and_o keep_v we_o sleep_v that_o in_o peace_n we_o may_v both_o rest_v and_o wake_v and_o let_v our_o sleep_n be_v sweet_a and_o healthful_a to_o our_o body_n that_o wake_v in_o the_o morning_n we_o may_v rise_v in_o good_a health_n and_o delight_n in_o thou_o our_o
