the_o earth_n this_o that_o i_o speak_v of_o the_o wicked_a be_v not_o only_o to_o be_v understand_v of_o the_o mean_a sort_n of_o the_o wicked_a that_o be_v bare_a poor_a without_o friend_n and_o worldly_a delight_n but_o also_o of_o prince_n and_o other_o in_o great_a place_n that_o have_v great_a friend_n that_o abound_v in_o wealth_n that_o flow_v in_o delight_n of_o the_o world_n that_o be_v mighty_a in_o authority_n and_o want_v nothing_o which_o may_v seem_v helpful_a to_o they_o against_o fear_n or_o to_o make_v for_o their_o peace_n and_o good_a security_n and_o this_o be_v manifest_a by_o the_o deadly_a fear_n of_o nabal_n saul_n belshazzar_n and_o felix_n before_o speak_v of_o if_o therefore_o the_o great_a sort_n of_o the_o wicked_a be_v subject_a to_o such_o fear_n who_o notwithstanding_o have_v many_o mean_n in_o the_o judgement_n of_o man_n to_o secure_v they_o against_o fear_n what_o shall_v be_v say_v of_o other_o true_a indeed_o the_o wicked_a do_v not_o always_o fear_v thus_o because_o through_o the_o extreme_a hardness_n of_o their_o heart_n whereunto_o god_n in_o great_a justice_n do_v give_v they_o over_o which_o be_v the_o great_a judgement_n of_o all_o other_o in_o this_o life_n they_o be_v without_o feel_n of_o the_o cause_n of_o this_o fear_n sometime_o also_o when_o they_o feel_v this_o fear_n come_v upon_o they_o they_o labour_v by_o the_o pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n or_o by_o company_n or_o by_o some_o such_o mean_n to_o shift_v and_o shake_v it_o off_o but_o alas_o poor_a man_n they_o strive_v against_o the_o stream_n yea_o they_o have_v wind_n and_o tide_n against_o they_o in_o that_o behalf_n the_o more_o they_o put_v off_o fear_n for_o a_o time_n the_o strong_a it_o will_v return_v in_o the_o end_n as_o a_o man_n trouble_v with_o the_o toothache_a for_o the_o mitigation_n thereof_o for_o the_o present_a take_v cold_a water_n which_o make_v the_o pain_n more_o violent_a afterward_o and_o as_o one_o that_o have_v scald_v his_o leg_n rhru_v the_o same_o present_o into_o cold_a water_n and_o thereby_o find_v ease_n of_o the_o heat_n for_o a_o while_n but_o afterward_o feel_v the_o great_a and_o long_a pain_n so_o they_o that_o by_o pastime_n and_o pleasure_n and_o worldly_a business_n and_o good_a fellowship_n put_v away_o their_o fear_n for_o a_o time_n do_v find_v they_o more_o extreme_a in_o the_o end_n it_o be_v with_o such_o man_n as_o with_o many_o a_o ill_a debtor_n that_o be_v arrest_v by_o some_o bay_a life_n or_o sergeant_n at_o the_o suit_n of_o some_o one_o of_o his_o creditor_n to_o avoid_v imprisonment_n do_v either_o violent_o resist_v or_o smite_v the_o bailiff_n or_o the_o sergeant_n on_o the_o head_n that_o he_o lay_v he_o for_o dead_a or_o else_o gert_v he_o into_o a_o tavern_n or_o alehouse_n and_o there_o make_v he_o so_o drink_v that_o himself_o escape_v for_o the_o present_a but_o what_o do_v he_o help_v himself_o by_o this_o mean_n nothing_o at_o all_o yea_o he_o plunge_v himself_o into_o further_a danger_n for_o in_o the_o end_n the_o creditor_n at_o who_o suit_n he_o be_v arrest_v deal_v the_o moresevere_o with_o he_o even_o so_o the_o wicked_a that_o by_o any_o sleight_n pass_v over_o their_o fear_n not_o by_o humble_v themselves_o to_o god_n the_o great_a creditor_n to_o who_o all_o man_n owe_v more_o than_o they_o be_v able_a to_o pay_v as_o have_v be_v before_o say_v but_o by_o strive_v and_o struggle_v and_o by_o make_v their_o fear_n drink_v as_o it_o be_v for_o the_o present_a do_v thereby_o in_o the_o end_n increase_v their_o fear_n and_o make_v they_o strong_a and_o more_o violent_a than_o before_o great_a especial_o shall_v the_o fear_n of_o the_o wicked_a be_v and_o far_o great_a than_o they_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o bear_v when_o god_n shall_v come_v in_o special_a judgement_n against_o they_o the_o prophet_n isay_n threaten_v the_o jew_n with_o such_o a_o day_n of_o vergeance_n as_o wherein_o the_o wicked_a shall_v go_v into_o hole_n and_o cave_n of_o the_o earth_n from_o before_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o majesty_n when_o he_o shall_v arise_v to_o destory_n the_o earth_n we_o shall_v be_v like_o he_o second_o the_o certainty_n of_o our_o say_a future_a similitude_n and_o likeness_n to_o christ_n in_o this_o word_n we_o know_v three_o the_o time_n when_o we_o shall_v be_v like_a unto_o christ_n in_o these_o word_n when_o he_o shall_v appear_v touch_v the_o further_o handle_v of_o the_o say_a proposition_n first_o the_o latter_a part_n thereof_o namely_o both_o their_o similitude_n or_o likeness_n to_o christ_n and_o the_o time_n thereof_o be_v prove_v by_o a_o argument_n from_o the_o effect_n in_o this_o verse_n and_o in_o these_o word_n for_o or_o they_o be_v but_o the_o member_n christ_n be_v the_o elder_a brother_n they_o but_o the_o second_o brethren_n christ_n be_v the_o proper_a and_o natural_a son_n of_o god_n by_o communication_n of_o the_o whole_a divine_a essence_n unto_o he_o as_o he_o be_v god_n and_o by_o the_o personal_a union_n of_o the_o godhead_n to_o the_o manhood_n and_o the_o miraculous_a and_o immediate_a conception_n we_o shall_v be_v like_a unto_o he_o for_o some_o man_n may_v stumble_v at_o this_o phrase_n as_o gather_v thereby_o that_o in_o this_o life_n the_o child_n of_o god_n be_v not_o like_a unto_o christ_n but_o to_o remove_v this_o stumble_a block_n we_o must_v understand_v first_o that_o there_o be_v a_o double_a likeness_n unto_o christ_n one_o in_o grace_n a_o other_o in_o glory_n second_o that_o our_o likeness_n unto_o christ_n in_o grace_n be_v also_o two_o fold_n one_o in_o part_n another_z in_o perfection_n complete_a and_o absolute_a in_o grace_n we_o be_v in_o part_n like_o unto_o christ_n in_o this_o life_n but_o our_o likeness_n unto_o christ_n both_o perfect_o in_o grace_n and_o also_o in_o glory_n be_v only_o in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v he_o that_o be_v not_o in_o grace_n like_o unto_o christ_n here_o in_o part_n in_o this_o life_n that_o be_v he_o that_o be_v not_o begin_v here_o to_o be_v make_v like_o unto_o christ_n in_o grace_n shall_v never_o be_v like_o he_o
