have_v but_o we_o want_v their_o zeal_n and_o spirit_n and_o we_o have_v the_o same_o gift_n but_o we_o want_v their_o spirit_n but_o let_v we_o now_o at_o length_n show_v ourselves_o to_o be_v in_o the_o spirit_n to_o have_v the_o spirit_n in_o we_o by_o our_o zeal_n against_o evil_n but_o you_o will_v say_v that_o many_o holy_a man_n that_o have_v 1._o the_o spirit_n yet_o be_v not_o so_o hot_a as_o certain_o as_o where_o true_a fire_n be_v there_o be_v heat_n so_o where_o there_o be_v the_o spirit_n there_o be_v zeal_n therefore_o examine_v whether_o you_o have_v heat_n in_o you_o if_o the_o natural_a strength_n be_v his_o own_o end_n his_o own_o profit_n and_o pleasure_n and_o his_o own_o good_a for_o as_o the_o rise_n of_o any_o thing_n be_v high_a so_o the_o end_n be_v high_a as_o for_o example_n water_n be_v lift_v upon_o the_o top_n of_o some_o mountain_n or_o high_a place_n because_o it_o may_v go_v further_o then_o if_o it_o be_v not_o so_o when_o a_o man_n be_v of_o it_o be_v cold_a but_o if_o you_o will_v have_v it_o of_o another_o quality_n than_o you_o must_v put_v a_o quality_n of_o fire_n into_o it_o so_o the_o soul_n be_v dead_a and_o cold_a by_o nature_n but_o if_o a_o quality_n of_o the_o fire_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v add_v unto_o it_o than_o it_o will_v be_v able_a to_o do_v more_o than_o it_o natural_o can_v do_v therefore_o examine_v what_o new_a habit_n and_o quality_n be_v in_o you_o whether_o you_o have_v a_o new_a habit_n of_o patience_n love_n hope_v and_o experience_n that_o be_v as_o patience_n beget_v experience_n and_o it_o so_o many_o man_n they_o have_v habit_n and_o quality_n but_o because_o they_o want_v power_n to_o use_v they_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o strengthen_v in_o the_o inward_a man_n but_o he_o that_o have_v the_o spirit_n have_v withal_o power_n to_o use_v those_o habit_n to_o good_a therefore_o it_o be_v say_v that_o they_o speak_v as_o the_o spirit_n give_v they_o utterance_n that_o be_v of_o those_o thing_n which_o thou_o shall_v suffer_v that_o be_v fear_v they_o not_o for_o that_o 10._o which_o make_v they_o terrible_a shall_v not_o be_v mingle_v with_o they_o which_o be_v my_o wrath_n for_o it_o be_v not_o affliction_n that_o be_v bitter_a but_o sin_n in_o the_o affliction_n that_o make_v they_o bitter_a therefore_o let_v this_o make_v you_o to_o hate_v sin_n that_o you_o may_v escape_v the_o wrath_n and_o vengeance_n of_o god_n three_o consider_v that_o the_o long_a god_n stay_v from_o afflict_v of_o sinner_n the_o great_a and_o terribler_n motive_n shall_v the_o stroke_n be_v when_o it_o come_v and_o therefore_o it_o be_v better_o for_o thou_o that_o have_v no_o interest_n in_o christ_n that_o he_o will_v strike_v present_o then_o defer_v it_o long_o that_o so_o thy_o punishment_n may_v be_v the_o lesser_a in_o amos_n 5._o say_v god_n i_o will_v strike_v at_o once_o and_o i_o will_v not_o strike_v the_o second_o time_n that_o be_v when_o i_o do_v strike_v i_o will_v strike_v so_o that_o i_o shall_v not_o need_v to_o strike_v the_o second_o time_n and_o thus_o the_o lord_n say_v unto_o eli_n in_o 1._o sam._n 3._o vers_fw-la 12._o when_o i_o begin_v i_o will_v make_v a_o end_n and_o this_o be_v the_o great_a punishment_n that_o the_o lord_n can_v inflict_v against_o any_o sinner_n it_o be_v as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v say_v i_o will_v not_o begin_v to_o afflict_v they_o and_o then_o cease_v and_o give_v they_o space_n of_o repentance_n but_o i_o will_v make_v a_o end_n that_o be_v i_o will_v do_v it_o in_o a_o moment_n on_o a_o sudden_a i_o will_v but_o make_v one_o work_n of_o it_o i_o will_v begin_v and_o i_o will_v finish_v it_o in_o a_o instant_n and_o this_o we_o see_v the_o lord_n do_v upon_o hephni_n and_o phineas_n therefore_o let_v this_o move_v you_o to_o hate_v sin_n thus_o much_o for_o this_o point_n and_o he_o say_v arise_v and_o go_v into_o the_o city_n and_o it_o shall_v be_v tell_v thou_o what_o thou_o shall_v do_v doctrine_n the_o point_n be_v this_o that_o christ_n be_v exceed_o merciful_a and_o exceed_v ready_a to_o speak_v mercy_n unto_o those_o that_o be_v true_o humble_v i_o gather_v it_o thus_o paul_n be_v here_o strike_v down_o with_o a_o apprehension_n of_o sin_n and_o be_v thus_o exceed_o humble_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o his_o sin_n christ_n meet_v he_o upon_o the_o plyablenesse_n of_o his_o will_n with_o a_o word_n of_o comfort_n arise_v this_o word_n be_v full_a of_o comfort_n for_o it_o be_v as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v say_v paul_n be_v not_o too_o much_o deject_v and_o cast_v down_o at_o the_o apprehension_n of_o thy_o sin_n as_o if_o there_o be_v not_o abundant_a mercy_n in_o i_o to_o pardon_v it_o but_o arise_v that_o be_v go_v and_o i_o will_v show_v thou_o what_o thou_o shall_v do_v to_o save_v thy_o own_o soul_n and_o it_o shall_v be_v tell_v thou_o what_o thou_o shall_v do_v for_o i_o but_o fear_v not_o be_v of_o good_a comfort_n now_o that_o christ_n be_v full_a of_o mercy_n we_o will_v prove_v it_o by_o scripture_n matth._n 11._o 28._o come_v unto_o i_o all_o that_o be_v weary_a and_o heavy_a lade_v and_o i_o will_v ease_v you_o in_o these_o word_n there_o be_v three_o thing_n first_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o person_n that_o must_v come_v and_o those_o be_v such_o as_o be_v weary_a and_o heavy_a lade_v the_o second_o thing_n be_v the_o qualification_n of_o the_o person_n that_o be_v true_o weary_a and_o heavy_a lade_v first_o they_o must_v be_v meek_a second_o they_o must_v be_v lowly_a the_o three_o thing_n be_v the_o pattern_n or_o teacher_n of_o they_o and_o that_o be_v christ_n the_o best_a the_o holy_a and_o wise_a teacher_n in_o the_o world_n learn_v of_o i_o i_o be_o ready_a to_o teach_v all_o and_o to_o upbraid_v no_o man_n and_o then_o in_o the_o last_o place_n the_o thing_n that_o they_o must_v do_v they_o must_v take_v christ_n yoke_n and_o so_o they_o shall_v be_v rid_v of_o their_o burden_n the_o sum_n of_o it_o be_v this_o if_o you_o be_v weary_a and_o heavy_a lade_v with_o your_o sin_n and_o have_v a_o desire_n to_o be_v ease_v it_o be_v no_o more_o but_o come_v unto_o christ_n and_o he_o will_v ease_v you_o that_o be_v if_o you_o be_v heavy_a lade_v with_o sin_n christ_n be_v ready_a to_o take_v off_o your_o burden_n and_o to_o put_v upon_o they_o the_o easy_a yoke_n of_o obedience_n and_o holiness_n
