approach_v this_o be_v as_o evident_a a_o sign_n of_o god_n departure_n from_o a_o people_n and_o of_o some_o heavy_a judgement_n haste_v upon_o they_o when_o either_o the_o preach_n shall_v become_v some_o few_o it_o yet_o man_n shall_v become_v general_o more_o obstinate_a blind_a hard-hearted_a and_o without_o feeling_n give_v up_o to_o follow_v their_o lust_n with_o greediness_n when_o by_o it_o they_o shall_v have_v their_o heart_n as_o hard_o as_o the_o nether_a millstone_n or_o the_o smith_n stithie_o that_o the_o often_o they_o be_v smite_v the_o hard_a they_o be_v and_o further_a also_o this_o be_v so_o palpable_a that_o it_o may_v be_v feel_v when_o man_n shall_v come_v to_o this_o height_n of_o profaneness_n that_o hear_v the_o most_o excellent_a prophet_n of_o god_n they_o shall_v hear_v they_o only_o as_o those_o who_o have_v pleasant_a voice_n do_v listen_v to_o their_o word_n but_o not_o do_v any_o thing_n in_o effect_n which_o they_o teach_v as_o the_o people_n rush_v not_o violent_o to_o all_o licentious_a profaneness_n in_o steed_n of_o the_o zealous_a profession_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n other_o to_o popery_n and_o superstition_n again_o which_o be_v so_o far_o root_v out_o of_o our_o land_n and_o by_o the_o most_o abhor_a and_o this_o after_o the_o time_n that_o god_n have_v more_o discover_v the_o abomination_n of_o that_o bloody_a we_o by_o his_o messenger_n and_o how_o it_o be_v now_o for_o most_o part_n whether_o in_o many_o place_n where_o the_o ark_n of_o god_n still_o remain_v i_o mean_v the_o word_n and_o sacrament_n whether_o i_o say_v the_o glorious_a and_o lively_a voice_n of_o the_o spirit_n that_o pierce_v of_o our_o heart_n that_o burn_v in_o our_o soul_n with_o those_o unspeakable_a comfort_n which_o we_o be_v wont_a to_o find_v therein_o be_v not_o decay_v exceed_o whether_o it_o be_v not_o with_o all_o who_o be_v fall_v to_o fashion_n themselves_o to_o the_o extreme_a licentiousness_n and_o looseness_n of_o the_o time_n more_o even_o as_o it_o be_v with_o saul_n that_o the_o lord_n speak_v to_o they_o no_o more_o though_o they_o have_v happy_o the_o same_o preacher_n and_o the_o book_n of_o the_o law_n and_o hear_v the_o curse_n against_o their_o sin_n yet_o they_o neither_o feel_v nor_o fear_v they_o any_o more_o whether_o that_o lively_a presence_n which_o do_v shake_v their_o more_o former_o and_o see_v the_o sign_n and_o token_n of_o his_o wrath_n for_o our_o sin_n we_o see_v they_o indeed_o but_o we_o be_v move_v no_o long_o with_o they_o but_o as_o they_o not_o so_o we_o shall_v find_v it_o thus_o that_o these_o and_o all_o other_o sign_n mention_v be_v in_o great_a measure_n come_v upon_o we_o let_v we_o answer_v unfayned_o whether_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o sensible_o threaten_v and_o proclaim_v to_o depart_v and_o leave_v we_o altogether_o he_o unless_o we_o repent_v have_v thus_o far_o already_o withdraw_v himself_o from_o we_o and_o to_o conclude_v continual_o and_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o god_n of_o israel_n be_v remove_v departure_n etc._n etc._n a_o three_o point_n special_o to_o be_v observe_v be_v this_o that_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n any_o remedy_n will_v have_v be_v find_v this_o he_o make_v know_v unto_o they_o to_o see_v if_o it_o will_v work_v to_o stir_v they_o up_o to_o seek_v to_o retain_v his_o presence_n among_o they_o yet_o more_o careful_o outward_o whether_o he_o have_v not_o make_v as_o many_o and_o as_o sensible_a remove_n of_o his_o glory_n among_o we_o of_o this_o our_o nation_n and_o thereby_o give_v we_o as_o many_o plain_a evidence_n of_o his_o departure_n not_o now_o in_o a_o vision_n but_o so_o as_o all_o man_n must_v needs_o see_v and_o confess_v it_o and_o also_o whether_o withal_o he_o have_v not_o as_o clear_o and_o tender_o manifest_v as_o i_o may_v so_o say_v his_o unwillingness_n to_o depart_v from_o we_o if_o any_o thing_n can_v serve_v to_o reform_v we_o this_o be_v a_o point_n of_o most_o serious_a consideration_n and_o such_o a_o one_o as_o it_o be_v a_o exceed_a mercy_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o a_o token_n of_o his_o gracious_a purpose_n towards_o we_o if_o he_o will_v but_o vouchsafe_v we_o heart_n general_o to_o consider_v of_o aright_o as_o in_o his_o presence_n and_o as_o we_o must_v all_o know_v it_o one_o day_n to_o the_o end_n we_o may_v conceive_v it_o the_o better_a we_o be_v first_o to_o consider_v wherein_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o lord_n appear_v outward_o in_o his_o church_n so_o as_o it_o may_v be_v behold_v of_o all_o round_a about_o it_o even_o of_o the_o very_a enemy_n as_o for_o the_o former_a evidence_n it_o be_v more_o inward_a be_v to_o be_v perceive_v chief_o of_o the_o inward_a man_n the_o soul_n and_o conscience_n when_o god_n so_o speak_v unto_o they_o this_o outward_a glory_n consist_v in_o three_o thing_n principal_o thing_n as_o be_v say_v whereby_o not_o only_o the_o lord_n himself_o be_v magnify_v among_o his_o own_o people_n yea_o to_o be_v see_v &_o acknowledge_v of_o other_o but_o also_o by_o which_o he_o make_v his_o people_n to_o be_v glorious_a in_o the_o eye_n of_o other_o and_o to_o be_v honour_v and_o fear_v of_o their_o enemy_n the_o first_o be_v knowledge_n when_o he_o bestow_v upon_o his_o people_n such_o abundance_n of_o heavenly_a and_o sanctify_a knowledge_n of_o his_o word_n with_o a_o hunger_a after_o the_o same_o as_o that_o the_o earth_n seem_v to_o be_v fill_v with_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o lord_n like_o the_o water_n that_o cover_v the_o sea_n 3._o as_o the_o prophet_n isaiah_n speak_v this_o he_o promise_v to_o do_v in_o his_o church_n when_o he_o will_v show_v his_o glory_n in_o it_o in_o the_o day_n of_o the_o gospel_n at_o what_o time_n the_o church_n be_v exalt_v as_o upon_o the_o top_n of_o the_o mountain_n there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o hunger_a and_o thirst_v after_o the_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o man_n shall_v incite_v and_o provoke_v one_o heart_n for_o your_o people_n and_o that_o you_o can_v be_v content_a to_o endure_v any_o misery_n for_o they_o to_o save_v they_o from_o the_o lord_n wrath_n this_o be_v a_o demonstration_n that_o the_o same_o spirit_n of_o paul_n rest_v upon_o you_o and_o yet_o further_o also_o to_o comfort_v you_o if_o you_o be_v such_o as_o be_v so_o far_o off_o from_o serve_v the_o time_n or_o flatter_v they_o to_o who_o you_o be_v send_v in_o cry_v peace_n peace_n that_o you_o have_v set_v yourselves_o in_o all_o faithfulness_n to_o discover_v their_o iniquity_n and_o to_o cry_v out_o against_o all_o their_o sin_n 17._o and_o that_o no_o fear_n can_v stop_v your_o mouth_n from_o do_v your_o duty_n in_o your_o place_n 1._o this_o testimony_n of_o your_o conscience_n shall_v be_v as_o a_o strong_a brazen_a wall_n unto_o you_o 8._o whatsoever_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v 28._o and_o to_o speak_v general_o 8._o if_o you_o be_v private_a christian_n as_o lot_n and_o these_o mourner_n here_o mark_v 7._o and_o in_o steed_n of_o have_v a_o confederacy_n with_o the_o wicked_a in_o their_o evil_a way_n iniquity_n you_o find_v yourselves_o vex_v every_o day_n for_o the_o evil_n which_o you_o hear_v and_o see_v it_o may_v minister_v unto_o you_o much_o assurance_n and_o heavenly_a consolation_n and_o more_o special_o if_o your_o heart_n be_v trouble_v for_o these_o dreadful_a sin_n as_o first_o for_o our_o monstrous_a unthankfulness_n for_o the_o gospel_n with_o all_o our_o blessing_n accompany_v it_o and_o for_o that_o we_o be_v most_o of_o we_o so_o weary_a in_o live_v in_o obedience_n unto_o it_o and_o so_o many_o on_o the_o other_o side_n ready_a to_o live_v rather_o under_o that_o slavery_n of_o antichrist_n or_o service_n of_o sin_n and_o satan_n or_o second_o if_o you_o feel_v your_o soul_n continual_o grieve_v in_o behold_v how_o many_o of_o we_o there_o be_v which_o make_v a_o profession_n of_o the_o gospel_n in_o word_n yet_o deny_v utter_o all_o power_n of_o it_o in_o our_o life_n and_o withal_o how_o ready_a many_o among_o we_o who_o have_v heretofore_o make_v conscience_n of_o our_o way_n be_v now_o to_o join_v hand_n and_o run_v to_o all_o excess_n with_o the_o atheist_n and_o with_o every_o profane_a and_o filthy_a person_n and_o if_o above_o all_o this_o your_o heart_n bear_v you_o witness_n that_o you_o strive_v to_o keep_v your_o self_n unspotted_a in_o this_o last_o and_o sinful_a generation_n 15._o and_o neither_o by_o schism_n run_v forth_o of_o the_o church_n and_o communion_n of_o the_o saint_n 4._o so_o condemn_v the_o generation_n of_o his_o child_n on_o the_o one_o hand_n nor_o leave_v your_o place_n and_o calling_n so_o long_o as_o with_o a_o good_a conscience_n you_o can_v enjoy_v they_o to_o cast_v yourselves_o upon_o the_o rock_n of_o innumerable_a evil_n neither_o yet_o on_o the_o other_o hand_n to_o decline_v to_o the_o coldness_n 3._o hypocrisy_n and_o looseness_n of_o the_o time_n this_o shall_v be_v your_o comfort_n perpetual_o and_o yet_o to_o proceed_v a_o little_a further_o if_o you_o thus_o stay_v yourselves_o from_o these_o extreme_n do_v use_n to_o speak_v every_o one_o to_o his_o neighbour_n as_o the_o godly_a do_v in_o malachy_n day_n 17._o to_o encourage_v one_o another_o to_o walk_v more_o heedful_o and_o cheerful_o in_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n each_o in_o his_o rank_n and_o within_o the_o bound_n of_o his_o call_n this_o shall_v be_v your_o witness_n before_o the_o lord_n or_o final_o if_o yet_o now_o at_o least_o at_o the_o view_n of_o our_o transgression_n which_o follow_v &_o the_o lord_n threaten_n against_o we_o you_o can_v feel_v your_o heart_n so_o affect_v as_o those_o mourner_n and_o set_v to_o continue_v so_o to_o walk_v with_o your_o god_n then_o this_o shall_v be_v unto_o you_o a_o gracious_a assurance_n that_o you_o be_v indeed_o the_o lord_n own_o servant_n as_o these_o mourner_n be_v the_o same_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n rest_v upon_o you_o you_o be_v sure_o seal_v therewith_o and_o single_v out_o for_o his_o majesty_n his_o care_n be_v as_o well_o for_o you_o as_o ever_o it_o be_v for_o noah_n lot_n eliah_n or_o any_o of_o these_o mourner_n for_o he_o be_v still_o the_o same_o to_o all_o who_o tread_v in_o their_o step_n his_o compassion_n fail_v not_o this_o be_v write_v now_o to_o comfort_v you_o heaven_n and_o earth_n shall_v pass_v but_o not_o one_o jot_n or_o title_n of_o his_o word_n until_o every_o thing_n be_v accomplish_v he_o may_v soon_o break_v his_o covenant_n concern_v the_o day_n and_o the_o night_n than_o he_o can_v with_o you_o the_o hill_n may_v soon_o remove_v out_o of_o their_o place_n 10._o than_o his_o mercy_n can_v from_o you_o let_v none_o of_o your_o heart_n therefore_o faint_a who_o have_v this_o witness_n that_o you_o endeavour_n hereunto_o but_o come_v whatsoever_o will_v god_n will_v provide_v such_o a_o deliverance_n for_o you_o if_o he_o see_v it_o good_a or_o if_o he_o send_v you_o into_o captivity_n yet_o he_o
