ash_n of_o that_o destruction_n there_o be_v another_o design_n yet_o in_o it_o which_o have_v also_o a_o influence_n upon_o it_o and_o that_o be_v the_o confirmation_n of_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o disciple_n so_o verse_n 14.15_o lazarus_n be_v dead_a and_o i_o be_o glad_a for_o your_o sake_n that_o i_o be_v not_o there_o to_o the_o intent_n you_o may_v believe_v god_n have_v a_o intent_n forget_v itself_o raise_v it_o up_o in_o its_o own_o eye_n and_o thought_n as_o if_o it_o be_v no_o long_o flesh_n but_o spirit_n no_o long_o weakness_n but_o strength_n surround_v with_o the_o life_n glory_n and_o perfection_n of_o god_n which_o these_o give_v some_o taste_n and_o sense_n of_o so_o that_o the_o poor_a creature_n begin_v now_o to_o perk_v up_o above_o all_o other_o thing_n behold_v they_o far_o beneath_o itself_o they_o lie_v in_o a_o dungeon_n of_o darkness_n horror_n weakness_n filthiness_n corruption_n death_n whereas_o it_o be_v situate_v in_o the_o light_n of_o the_o lord_n dwell_v with_o he_o in_o the_o land_n of_o the_o live_n but_o now_o when_o a_o thorn_n be_v thrust_v into_o the_o flesh_n make_v it_o ache_v and_o smart_v and_o all_o its_o vision_n and_o revelation_n can_v neither_o help_v to_o pluck_v out_o this_o thorn_n nor_o take_v away_o the_o smart_n of_o it_o it_o begin_v to_o feel_v and_o know_v itself_o again_o it_o find_v itself_o not_o to_o be_v what_o live_v in_o it_o so_o far_o will_v it_o shine_v as_o the_o lord_n please_v to_o shine_v in_o it_o and_o no_o further_o and_o the_o suffering_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v with_o and_o because_o of_o the_o flesh_n and_o to_o this_o intent_n to_o free_a and_o deliver_v it_o from_o the_o infirmity_n bondage_n and_o corruption_n which_o cleave_v close_o to_o the_o flesh_n and_o be_v ready_a still_o heat_v hot_a enough_o will_v quite_o devour_v all_o fleshly_a dross_n whatsoever_o that_o be_v cast_v into_o it_o 4._o the_o restlessness_n of_o the_o spirit_n under_o this_o remedy_n for_o this_o thing_n i_o be_v seek_v the_o lord_n thrice_o that_o it_o may_v depart_v from_o i_o he_o use_v the_o best_a mean_n with_o the_o utmost_a vigour_n to_o get_v rid_v of_o it_o nothing_o more_o of_o the_o spirit_n from_o the_o sense_n and_o experience_n of_o the_o good_a that_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n work_v for_o it_o by_o these_o it_o can_v hereafter_o sport_v with_o misery_n play_v with_o death_n laugh_v while_o it_o be_v in_o the_o very_a jaw_n of_o destruction_n most_o glad_o therefore_o will_v i_o rather_o glory_n in_o my_o infirmity_n i_o will_v not_o be_v so_o ashamed_a
