errand_n they_o come_v not_o to_o be_v convert_v but_o to_o be_v harden_v they_o have_v a_o mind_n not_o to_o believe_v and_o seek_v only_o a_o colour_n for_o their_o unbelief_n they_o ask_v he_o therefore_o for_o that_o which_o they_o very_o think_v he_o will_v not_o grant_v they_o that_o they_o may_v have_v some_o pretence_n for_o their_o infidelity_n now_o therefore_o our_o saviour_n have_v discover_v their_o design_n and_o detect_v their_o hypocrisy_n in_o the_o 2_o 3_o and_o 4_o verse_n in_o my_o text_n turn_v himself_o towards_o his_o disciple_n and_o give_v they_o this_o serious_a caution_n against_o they_o and_o all_o such_o kind_n of_o man_n take_v heed_n and_o beware_v etc._n etc._n for_o the_o full_a open_n of_o which_o i_o will_v brief_o inquire_v into_o these_o four_o thing_n first_o what_o be_v the_o importance_n of_o this_o metaphorical_a expression_n leaven_n and_o what_o our_o saviour_n mean_v by_o the_o leaven_n of_o pharisee_n and_o sadducee_n second_o more_o particular_o we_o will_v inquire_v what_o be_v the_o peculiar_a leaven_n of_o these_o two_o sect_n so_o often_o mention_v in_o the_o new-testament_n three_o we_o will_v consider_v what_o be_v the_o danger_n of_o that_o leaven_n and_o its_o contrariety_n to_o the_o doctrine_n and_o design_n of_o our_o saviour_n four_o and_o last_o we_o will_v inquire_v what_o this_o caution_n of_o our_o saviour_n imply_v and_o what_o he_o will_v have_v his_o disciple_n to_o do_v when_o he_o bid_v they_o take_v heed_n and_o beware_v etc._n etc._n and_o by_o that_o time_n i_o have_v give_v account_n of_o these_o four_o thing_n i_o shall_v not_o only_o have_v open_v the_o full_a scope_n of_o the_o text_n but_o i_o hope_v every_o attentive_a auditor_n will_v be_v satisfy_v of_o the_o seasonableness_n of_o this_o subject_n for_o the_o present_a time._n i_o begin_v with_o the_o first_o viz._n what_o our_o saviour_n mean_v by_o leaven_n in_o the_o word_n follow_v my_o text_n verse_n 7._o we_o find_v that_o the_o disciple_n take_v our_o saviour_n literal_o and_o reflect_v on_o themselves_o for_o their_o omission_n to_o provide_v bread_n and_o necessary_n for_o the_o voyage_n which_o they_o be_v now_o enter_v upon_o though_o he_o have_v oblique_o reprove_v their_o carelessness_n in_o that_o particular_a and_o that_o he_o have_v thence_o take_v occasion_n to_o interdict_v they_o all_o trade_n and_o civil_a commerce_n with_o those_o two_o sect_n of_o men._n but_o by_o the_o 12._o verse_n they_o understand_v their_o master_n mind_n better_o and_o know_v at_o length_n that_o he_o speak_v not_o of_o the_o leaven_n of_o bread_n but_o of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o pharisee_n and_o sadducee_n indeed_o it_o be_v usual_a with_o our_o saviour_n by_o that_o metaphor_n to_o represent_v doctrine_n whether_o good_a or_o bad_a for_o matth._n chap._n 13._o 33._o he_o compare_v his_o own_o institution_n to_o it_o say_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n be_v like_o leaven_n which_o a_o woman_n take_v and_o hide_v in_o two_o measure_n of_o meal_n till_o the_o whole_a be_v leaven_v etc._n etc._n and_o the_o resemblance_n be_v very_o fit_a and_o natural_a for_o as_o it_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o leaven_n that_o it_o work_v insensible_o quick_o insinuate_v itself_o and_o universal_o diffuse_v its_o efficacy_n over_o the_o whole_a mass_n into_o which_o it_o be_v put_v so_o in_o like_a manner_n doctrine_n work_v upon_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n and_o give_v a_o tincture_n of_o its_o own_o nature_n and_o temper_n to_o they_o insomuch_o as_o that_o such_o as_o a_o man_n persuasion_n and_o principle_n be_v such_o ordinary_o at_o least_o will_v his_o life_n and_o practice_n be_v it_o be_v true_a indeed_o that_o sometime_o man_n life_n be_v better_a than_o their_o principle_n and_o sometime_o also_o worse_o for_o it_o may_v fall_v out_o that_o man_n of_o very_o unhappy_a and_o mischievous_a opinion_n may_v yet_o live_v virtuous_o when_o the_o probity_n of_o their_o temper_n be_v such_o as_o that_o it_o antidote_n they_o against_o the_o malignity_n and_o venom_n of_o their_o persuasion_n and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n it_o be_v no_o infrequent_a though_o a_o unhappy_a spectacle_n to_o behold_v other_o of_o very_o noble_a and_o generous_a principle_n as_o to_o doctrine_n yet_o to_o live_v very_o lewd_a and_o profligate_v life_n such_o man_n withhold_a the_o truth_n in_o unrighteousness_n as_o the_o apostle_n phrase_n be_v or_o outface_v the_o light_n and_o debauch_v their_o conscience_n in_o compliance_n with_o their_o lust_n and_o carnal_a or_o secular_a interest_n but_o as_o i_o say_v ordinary_o it_o be_v otherwise_o for_o such_o a_o state_n of_o contradiction_n to_o principle_n must_v needs_o be_v violent_a and_o unnatural_a and_o the_o life_n and_o action_n of_o man_n do_v as_o reasonable_o bear_v proportion_n to_o the_o principle_n of_o their_o mind_n and_o conscience_n as_o it_o be_v natural_a for_o the_o stream_n to_o rise_v as_o high_a as_o its_o source_n and_o fountain_n and_o no_o high_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o our_o saviour_n matth._n 12._o 33._o say_v either_o make_v the_o tree_n good_a and_o his_o fruit_n good_a or_o the_o tree_n corrupt_v and_o the_o fruit_n corrupt_v and_o again_o matth._n 6._o 23._o he_o pronounce_v if_o the_o light_n that_o be_v in_o thou_o be_v darkness_n that_o darkness_n must_v be_v great_a and_o intolerable_a to_o the_o truth_n of_o which_o observation_n the_o general_a experience_n of_o all_o the_o world_n bear_v ample_a testimony_n among_o several_a instance_n of_o which_o i_o can_v but_o remark_n a_o very_a pertinent_a passage_n of_o a_o heathen_a historian_n in_o the_o life_n of_o that_o wicked_a emperor_n tiberius_n his_o word_n concern_v he_o be_v these_o erat_fw-la be_v a_o profane_a prince_n careless_a of_o religion_n and_o without_o any_o devotion_n towards_o god_n and_o no_o wonder_n for_o he_o be_v a_o admirer_n of_o astrology_n and_o full_a of_o the_o opinion_n that_o the_o star_n or_o fate_n govern_v the_o world_n and_o not_o god._n and_o in_o short_a this_o be_v the_o true_a reason_n of_o all_o education_n and_o of_o all_o the_o care_n and_o diligence_n that_o evil_a and_o good_a man_n use_v in_o propound_v and_o propagate_a good_a doctrine_n and_o prevent_v the_o contrary_a not_o that_o they_o think_v god_n be_v please_v with_o dry_a opinion_n and_o speculation_n but_o because_o they_o be_v aware_a that_o principle_n draw_v on_o practice_n and_o that_o evil_a opinion_n corrupt_v good_a manner_n but_o somuch_o for_o that_o i_o proceed_v in_o the_o second_o place_n to_o inquire_v what_o be_v the_o peculiar_a leaven_n of_o these_o pharisee_n and_o sadducee_n which_o our_o saviour_n thus_o cuation_n against_o and_o for_o this_o the_o learned_a jewish_a historian_n josephus_n in_o his_o 13_o book_n of_o antiquity_n and_o in_o his_o 2d_o book_n of_o the_o jewish_a war_n have_v give_v we_o a_o very_a exact_a account_n of_o all_o the_o sect_n of_o religion_n among_o that_o people_n and_o from_o he_o i_o shall_v present_v this_o auditory_a with_o the_o substance_n of_o what_o he_o deliver_v touch_v the_o pharisee_n and_o sadducee_n wherein_o we_o be_v at_o present_a concern_v and_o first_o it_o be_v notorious_a that_o the_o sect_n of_o the_o sadducee_n utter_o deny_v the_o be_v of_o angel_n and_o spirit_n or_o of_o all_o spiritual_a substance_n and_o acknowledge_v nothing_o but_o matter_n or_o body_n in_o the_o whole_a universe_n and_o consequent_o hereof_o they_o must_v also_o renounce_v the_o immortality_n of_o the_o soul_n the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o body_n and_o eternal_a life_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v whereas_o on_o the_o contrary_a the_o pharisee_n acknowledge_v all_o the_o aforesaid_a great_a article_n as_o we_o learn_v act_v 23._o 8._o only_o this_o be_v to_o be_v add_v withal_o that_o these_o latter_a entertain_v so_o many_o legendary_a story_n about_o these_o great_a point_n and_o have_v such_o very_a crazy_a notion_n of_o they_o that_o they_o thereby_o render_v the_o very_a doctrine_n ridiculous_a and_o incredible_a again_o the_o sadducee_n be_v gross_a idolater_n of_o the_o letter_n and_o as_o they_o receive_v only_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n exclude_v the_o prophet_n and_o all_o other_o sacred_a write_n so_o they_o understand_v the_o book_n of_o the_o law_n in_o the_o most_o crass_a and_o literal_a sense_n and_o admit_v not_o of_o any_o interpretation_n or_o consequence_n from_o it_o though_o never_o so_o clear_o and_o natural_o deduce_v on_o the_o other_o side_n the_o pharisees_n not_o only_o receive_v the_o whole_a scripture_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n but_o beside_o be_v great_a patroness_n of_o oral_a tradition_n and_o allow_v as_o great_a or_o great_a authority_n to_o it_o than_o the_o write_a word_n and_o

but_o both_o these_o danger_n may_v in_o a_o great_a measure_n be_v avoid_v and_o great_a light_n gain_v towards_o the_o government_n of_o ourselves_o in_o this_o weighty_a and_o difficult_a business_n by_o attend_v to_o the_o carriage_n of_o our_o saviour_n towards_o the_o several_a sect_n of_o the_o jew_n respective_o for_o where_o as_o it_o be_v well_o know_v that_o there_o be_v three_o notable_a party_n among_o they_o common_o distinguish_v by_o the_o name_n of_o the_o essenes_n the_o pharisee_n and_o the_o sadducee_n it_o be_v very_o remarkable_a concern_v the_o first_o of_o they_o namely_o the_o essenes_n that_o though_o they_o be_v very_o numerous_a at_o the_o time_n of_o our_o saviour_n and_o withal_o hold_v several_a very_o odd_a and_o unjustifiable_a opinion_n yet_o our_o saviour_n be_v so_o far_o from_o all_o bitterness_n and_o severity_n towards_o they_o that_o we_o do_v not_o find_v that_o he_o make_v any_o kind_n of_o reflection_n upon_o they_o but_o for_o the_o other_o two_o viz._n the_o pharisee_n and_o sadducee_n he_o upon_o all_o occasion_n sharp_o inveigh_v against_o they_o and_o severe_o expose_v they_o now_o the_o reason_n of_o this_o very_a different_a carriage_n of_o our_o saviour_n seem_v to_o be_v this_o that_o the_o essenes_n though_o they_o be_v mistake_v in_o some_o opinion_n yet_o be_v sincere_a in_o their_o mind_n harmless_a in_o their_o life_n quiet_a and_o peaceable_a in_o their_o spirit_n they_o content_v themselves_o to_o enjoy_v their_o own_o conscience_n and_o let_v other_o man_n alone_o they_o be_v not_o a_o confident_a and_o boisterous_a sort_n of_o man_n that_o must_v either_o have_v the_o sole_a government_n of_o the_o world_n or_o else_o be_v always_o plot_v and_o contrive_v of_o mischief_n but_o humble_a and_o modest_a and_o so_o capable_a of_o be_v recover_v from_o their_o error_n but_o the_o other_o two_o sect_n viz._n the_o pharisee_n and_o sadducee_n they_o be_v quite_o another_o sort_n of_o man_n pretender_n to_o infallibility_n and_o consequent_o presumptuous_a and_o over-bearing_a perpetual_a dictator_n in_o opinion_n fastuous_a and_o disdainful_a towards_o all_o other_o too_o wise_a in_o their_o own_o eye_n to_o learn_v of_o any_o one_o and_o too_o sanctimonious_a to_o be_v reprove_v by_o any_o body_n withal_o they_o be_v a_o crafty_a and_o project_v sort_n of_o man_n that_o must_v either_o rule_n or_o confound_v the_o world._n our_o saviour_n therefore_o to_o teach_v we_o to_o make_v a_o discrimination_n in_o the_o like_a case_n as_o i_o observe_v gentle_o pass_v by_o the_o essenes_n but_o always_o set_v himself_o most_o severe_o against_o the_o two_o other_o sect_n and_o particular_o here_o in_o my_o text_n give_v his_o disciple_n caution_n against_o they_o take_v heed_n and_o beware_v of_o the_o leaven_n of_o the_o pharisee_n and_o of_o the_o sadducee_n the_o special_a occasion_n of_o these_o word_n be_v this_o if_o we_o look_v to_o the_o begin_n of_o this_o chapter_n we_o find_v these_o two_o busy_a sect_n though_o at_o other_o time_n they_o have_v hot_a dispute_n between_o themselves_o yet_o now_o lay_v their_o head_n together_o and_o conspire_v against_o our_o saviour_n but_o as_o the_o usual_a guise_n of_o hypocrite_n be_v they_o come_v to_o he_o very_o demure_o with_o these_o word_n master_n we_o will_v see_v a_o sign_n from_o thou_o what!_o have_v they_o have_v no_o sign_n hitherto_o have_v jesus_n wrought_v no_o miracle_n among_o they_o all_o this_o while_n or_o be_v these_o man_n only_a stranger_n to_o all_o the_o great_a passage_n of_o that_o time_n but_o we_o will_v see_v a_o sign_n from_o heaven_n and_o why_o a_o sign_n from_o heaven_n will_v that_o be_v more_o unexceptionable_a than_o any_o he_o have_v hitherto_o give_v they_o will_v this_o convince_v they_o no_o that_o be_v not_o their_o
consequent_o think_v themselves_o oblige_v under_o as_o great_a a_o necessity_n to_o the_o observance_n of_o those_o thing_n that_o come_v down_o to_o they_o by_o the_o tradition_n of_o their_o and_o religion_n upon_o oral_n and_o unwritten_a tradition_n and_o equal_v that_o to_o the_o holy_a scripture_n and_o write_v word_n of_o god_n this_o be_v pharisaism_n or_o wherever_o we_o find_v man_n impose_v upon_o other_o a_o vast_a and_o voluminous_a creed_n and_o enjoin_v a_o world_n of_o nice_a observance_n under_o the_o peril_n of_o eternal_a damnation_n if_o they_o be_v not_o comply_v with_o or_o the_o yoke_n lay_v upon_o the_o neck_n of_o the_o disciple_n of_o our_o lord_n no_o whit_n inferiors_n to_o that_o of_o judaisme_n in_o all_o this_o there_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o pharisaism_n wherever_o we_o see_v man_n lay_v mighty_a stress_n upon_o disputable_a opinion_n or_o to_o save_o or_o damn_v man_n according_o as_o they_o be_v of_o such_o or_o such_o a_o party_n here_o be_v the_o plain_a genius_n of_o pharisaism_n to_o name_v no_o more_o wherever_o we_o observe_v man_n to_o be_v mighty_a pretender_n to_o devotion_n but_o careless_a of_o justice_n and_o charity_n or_o to_o strain_v at_o a_o gnat_n and_o swallow_v a_o camel_n all_o this_o be_v the_o leaven_n of_o pharisaism_n wherever_o it_o be_v find_v and_o to_o be_v avoid_v according_o in_o the_o next_o place_n let_v we_o consider_v the_o emphasis_n of_o these_o word_n of_o our_o saviour_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d take_v heed_n and_o beware_v it_o be_v a_o earnest_a expression_n that_o weighty_a affair_n and_o the_o least_o that_o can_v be_v make_v of_o the_o charge_n here_o in_o the_o text_n be_v that_o we_o by_o no_o mean_n allow_v ourselves_o supine_o to_o swallow_v whatsoever_o be_v either_o first_o suggest_v or_o imperious_o dictate_v to_o we_o since_o such_o a_o implicit_a faith_n be_v the_o very_a first_o work_n of_o the_o leaven_n of_o the_o pharisaism_n and_o sadducism_n and_o the_o vindicate_a ourselves_o to_o ourselves_o and_o the_o assert_v the_o freedom_n of_o our_o own_o thought_n and_o liberty_n of_o judge_v for_o ourselves_o be_v the_o first_o step_v to_o true_a and_o generous_a christianity_n and_o the_o way_n to_o be_v everlasting_o secure_v from_o the_o aforesaid_a leaven_n for_o example_n if_o we_o free_o consult_v our_o own_o reason_n we_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o think_v of_o god_n almighty_a as_o of_o a_o partial_a deity_n or_o a_o accepter_n of_o person_n that_o will_v save_o or_o damn_v man_n in_o gross_a according_o as_o they_o shall_v be_v of_o such_o a_o sect_n or_o party_n we_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o imagine_v that_o a_o great_a and_o wise_a majesty_n will_v have_v any_o great_a value_n for_o empty_a form_n and_o mere_a pageantry_n of_o religion_n as_o if_o we_o have_v a_o fancy_n like_o that_o of_o the_o pantomime_n at_o rome_n who_o have_v be_v admire_v by_o the_o rabble_n will_v needs_o have_v the_o fondness_n to_o go_v also_o into_o the_o capitol_n and_o play_v his_o trick_n over_o before_o the_o god_n as_o if_o god_n must_v needs_o be_v please_v with_o what_o the_o silly_a multitude_n admire_v it_o can_v never_o enter_v into_o a_o consider_a man_n thought_n that_o the_o divine_a majesty_n shall_v be_v propitiate_v with_o bead_n and_o bauble_n that_o money_n shall_v purchase_v his_o favour_n to_o the_o wicked_a man_n that_o he_o shall_v be_v corrupt_v with_o bribe_n or_o impose_v upon_o and_o win_v with_o compliment_n in_o a_o word_n no_o man_n that_o have_v and_o make_v use_v of_o the_o discretion_n of_o a_o reasonable_a creature_n can_v think_v so_o unworthy_o of_o god_n as_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v fatal_o offend_v with_o little_a mistake_n in_o opinion_n or_o that_o he_o will_v cast_v away_o a_o very_a sincere_a and_o devout_a man_n mere_o upon_o the_o account_n of_o a_o ceremony_n under_o or_o over_o and_o he_o that_o allow_v himself_o but_o this_o kind_n of_o modest_a freedom_n of_o mind_n have_v make_v good_a provision_n against_o the_o danger_n of_o the_o leaven_n of_o pharisaism_n and_o sadducism_n again_o in_o the_o three_o place_n the_o most_o effectual_a security_n against_o the_o aforesaid_a leaven_n be_v to_o keep_v to_o the_o holy_a scripture_n especial_o of_o the_o new_a testament_n to_o study_v that_o and_o take_v all_o the_o measure_n of_o our_o religion_n thence_o if_o we_o trust_v to_o the_o authority_n and_o dictate_v of_o man_n or_o to_o the_o custom_n and_o fashion_n of_o the_o world_n they_o will_v betray_v we_o to_o those_o leavens_n or_o if_o mere_o upon_o unwritten_a tradition_n that_o like_o a_o common_a sewer_n bring_v down_o for_o the_o most_o part_n the_o trash_n and_o rubbish_n of_o former_a time_n very_o often_o let_v the_o most_o weighty_a thing_n sink_v and_o perish_v in_o the_o passage_n for_o proof_n of_o which_o we_o need_v no_o other_o evidence_n but_o the_o experience_n of_o the_o jew_n among_o who_o one_o can_v but_o admire_v what_o childish_a and_o ridiculous_a story_n this_o way_n of_o tradition_n have_v fill_v they_o with_o insomuch_o that_o this_o oral_a part_n of_o their_o religion_n have_v almost_o quite_o disparage_v that_o which_o be_v write_v and_o divine_o reveal_v mere_o by_o the_o vicinage_n and_o conjunction_n with_o it_o whereas_o if_o we_o attend_v to_z and_o study_v the_o holy_a scripture_n that_o will_v not_o only_o preserve_v we_o from_o such_o mean_a and_o unworthy_a notion_n of_o god_n and_o religion_n but_o will_v engage_v we_o in_o such_o a_o method_n as_o shall_v both_o make_v we_o better_a man_n and_o the_o world_n the_o better_a for_o we_o if_o we_o govern_v ourselves_o by_o tradition_n and_o the_o fancy_n of_o man_n than_o all_o our_o care_n and_o devotion_n will_v be_v lay_v out_o in_o cultivate_v a_o opinion_n in_o ceremonious_a address_n to_o the_o deity_n in_o pompous_a oblation_n or_o in_o scrupulous_a observance_n but_o if_o we_o consult_v the_o scripture_n that_o will_v teach_v we_o that_o god_n will_v have_v mercy_n and_o not_o sacrifice_n and_o that_o a_o pure_a mind_n and_o a_o holy_a life_n be_v more_o acceptable_a to_o he_o than_o long_v prayer_n frequent_a fast_n and_o the_o most_o costly_a offering_n there_o we_o shall_v find_v that_o the_o first_o and_o great_a commandment_n of_o god_n law_n be_v thou_o shall_v love_v the_o lord_n thy_o god_n with_o all_o thy_o heart_n and_o with_o all_o thy_o mind_n and_o with_o all_o thy_o strength_n and_o that_o whatever_o demonstrate_v sincere_a love_n to_o he_o be_v it_o little_a or_o much_o be_v sure_o to_o procure_v his_o favour_n these_o we_o shall_v learn_v express_o that_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n be_v not_o please_v with_o the_o fat_a of_o lamb_n nor_o propitiate_v with_o river_n of_o oil_n neither_o do_v he_o require_v the_o fruit_n of_o our_o body_n to_o expiate_v the_o sin_n of_o our_o soul_n but_o that_o we_o do_v just_o and_o love_v mercy_n and_o walk_v humble_o with_o our_o god_n the_o due_a consideration_n of_o which_o passage_n of_o scripture_n will_v effectual_o antidote_n we_o against_o the_o infection_n of_o any_o of_o the_o aforesaid_a leavens_n to_o all_o which_o i_o add_v in_o the_o last_o place_n that_o if_o we_o do_v but_o mind_v the_o nature_n and_o notion_n of_o christianity_n and_o consider_v the_o genius_n and_o spirit_n of_o that_o religion_n we_o be_v safe_a particular_o if_o we_o do_v but_o look_v upon_o it_o under_o the_o representation_n which_o those_o two_o word_n or_o phrase_n give_v of_o it_o whereby_o it_o be_v call_v a_o reasonable_a service_n and_o a_o spiritual_a worship_n as_o for_o the_o former_a no_o man_n can_v be_v so_o absurd_a as_o to_o think_v that_o a_o reasonable_a service_n which_o be_v build_v upon_o a_o implicit_a faith_n and_o where_o a_o man_n understand_v nothing_o of_o the_o reason_n and_o ground_n of_o his_o religion_n but_o in_o a_o blind_a obedience_n servile_o and_o brutish_o give_v himself_o up_o to_o the_o conduct_n of_o other_o or_o when_o he_o worship_n god_n in_o a_o language_n whereof_o he_o have_v no_o knowledge_n or_o understanding_n and_o as_o for_o the_o other_o phrase_n of_o a_o spiritual_a worship_n can_v any_o man_n of_o common_a sense_n take_v that_o to_o be_v a_o spiritual_a religion_n which_o be_v make_v up_o of_o bodily_a drudgery_n of_o mere_a form_n and_o rite_n and_o ceremony_n but_o to_o be_v a_o christian_n be_v to_o have_v worthy_a notion_n of_o god_n in_o our_o mind_n and_o a_o flame_n of_o servant_n piety_n and_o devotion_n to_o he_o in_o our_o heart_n to_o love_v he_o to_o fear_v he_o to_o trust_v in_o he_o to_o be_v holy_a and_o just_a and_o sober_a in_o our_o life_n and_o to_o be_v peaceable_a in_o our_o spirit_n such_o a_o religion_n as_o this_o be_v worthy_a of_o god_n be_v fit_a for_o the_o son_n of_o god_n to_o be_v the_o author_n and_o publisher_n of_o and_o the_o conscientious_a observance_n of_o it_o will_v fit_v we_o for_o and_o in_o due_a time_n bring_v we_o to_o the_o possession_n of_o the_o heavenly_a mansion_n above_o and_o the_o eternal_a society_n of_o glorious_a saint_n and_o
