translate_v and_o carry_v though_o not_o by_o fiery_a chariot_n as_o elias_n be_v yet_o by_o the_o hand_n of_o those_o heavenly_a angel_n which_o continual_o wait_v and_o attend_v upon_o they_o from_o earth_n to_o heaven_n from_o this_o vale_n of_o misery_n to_o that_o place_n of_o endless_a glory_n and_o happiness_n o_o lord_n keep_v i_o from_o that_o extreme_a folly_n and_o simplicity_n of_o the_o wicked_a who_o satan_n have_v so_o deceive_v and_o delude_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v careless_a of_o that_o which_o most_o near_o concern_v they_o even_o their_o future_a and_o eternal_a estate_n after_o this_o life_n which_o depend_v upon_o the_o course_n of_o their_o life_n lead_v in_o this_o world_n which_o be_v short_a and_o momentary_a let_v it_o be_v my_o care_n and_o endeavour_n every_o day_n to_o seek_v by_o a_o holy_a conversation_n to_o be_v assure_v of_o the_o certainty_n of_o my_o election_n and_o of_o my_o bless_a and_o happy_a estate_n after_o this_o life_n even_o my_o future_a glorification_n in_o thy_o kingdom_n that_o so_o i_o may_v be_v always_o prepare_v and_o rest_v continual_o in_o a_o joyful_a hope_n and_o expectation_n of_o the_o accomplishment_n and_o fulfil_n of_o thy_o gracious_a promise_n freewill_n it_o be_v a_o vain_a thing_n to_o think_v that_o a_o man_n have_v freewill_n unto_o that_o which_o be_v good_a as_o well_o may_v thou_o persuade_v i_o that_o a_o stone_n can_v move_v itself_o or_o that_o a_o dead_a body_n can_v raise_v itself_o out_o of_o the_o grave_n except_o the_o lord_n put_v to_o his_o hand_n we_o can_v never_o move_v ourselves_o no_o not_o to_o one_o good_a motion_n one_o good_a thought_n or_o desire_n much_o less_o give_v ourselves_o to_o the_o constant_a practice_n of_o that_o which_o be_v good_a except_o the_o lord_n put_v new_a life_n into_o we_o except_o he_o quicken_v we_o with_o his_o spirit_n we_o be_v all_o but_o dead_a man_n and_o shall_v lie_v in_o our_o grave_n until_o we_o be_v awake_v unto_o judgement_n o_o lord_n the_o fountain_n of_o grace_n and_o life_n do_v thou_o quicken_v i_o so_o shall_v i_o live_v do_v thou_o lift_v i_o up_o so_o shall_v i_o rise_v out_o of_o he_o take_v they_o from_o we_o we_o be_v willing_o to_o restore_v they_o and_o ready_o without_o any_o murmur_a or_o repine_v to_o part_v with_o they_o since_o they_o be_v but_o lend_v unto_o we_o for_o a_o time_n for_o our_o convenient_a or_o necessary_a use_n and_o be_v now_o call_v for_o again_o by_o the_o right_a owner_n of_o they_o so_o that_o to_o be_v unwilling_a to_o return_v they_o at_o his_o command_n be_v not_o neither_o aught_o to_o be_v otherwise_o esteem_v of_o we_o then_o as_o the_o usurp_a or_o violent_a detain_v of_o another_o man_n good_n against_o his_o will_n and_o pleasure_n even_o theft_n and_o robbery_n against_o the_o high_a what_o mean_v it_o they_o that_o many_o be_v so_o loath_a to_o restore_v the_o thing_n which_o god_n have_v give_v they_o the_o use_n of_o for_o a_o while_n and_o now_o require_v of_o they_o again_o what_o mean_v it_o that_o many_o be_v so_o grieve_v to_o part_n with_o those_o thing_n which_o the_o lord_n have_v lend_v they_o until_o such_o time_n as_o he_o shall_v call_v for_o they_o yea_o why_o be_v it_o that_o many_o complain_v so_o grievous_o as_o if_o they_o be_v great_o injure_v or_o have_v very_o hard_a measure_n offer_v unto_o they_o when_o the_o lord_n take_v from_o they_o their_o wife_n their_o child_n their_o friend_n their_o good_n their_o land_n live_n or_o their_o life_n itself_o be_v they_o their_o own_o and_o not_o god_n why_o then_o shall_v they_o sin_v against_o he_o by_o repine_v that_o they_o can_v keep_v they_o against_o his_o will_n have_v he_o give_v unto_o they_o the_o use_n of_o they_o bless_a be_v the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n forgive_a of_o other_o how_o necessary_a for_o all_o man_n he_o can_v never_o true_o and_o free_o forgive_v those_o that_o offend_v and_o injury_n he_o that_o have_v not_o first_o taste_v of_o the_o infinite_a love_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n towards_o he_o in_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o those_o manifold_a sin_n and_o innumerable_a and_o most_o grievous_a offence_n whereby_o he_o have_v displease_v and_o provoke_v he_o but_o he_o that_o have_v a_o true_a apprehension_n and_o a_o lively_a sense_n and_o feel_n hereof_o in_o his_o own_o soul_n
our_o best_a friend_n and_o love_a companion_n who_o expect_v &_o look_v continual_o for_o our_o come_n into_o that_o heavenly_a city_n that_o celestial_a mansion_n the_o place_n where_o they_o &_o we_o be_v to_o rest_v &_o remain_v with_o our_o saviour_n in_o the_o presence_n of_o that_o glorious_a god_n for_o ever_o to_o be_v partaker_n of_o that_o felicity_n &_o blessedness_n which_o be_v unspeakable_a and_o glorious_a why_o then_o do_v we_o not_o wean_v ourselves_o from_o the_o world_n why_o do_v we_o settle_v ourselves_o here_o where_o our_o rest_n be_v not_o yea_o why_o be_v we_o so_o loath_a to_o leave_v this_o dry_a and_o barren_a wilderness_n where_o we_o live_v among_o stranger_n that_o know_v we_o not_o yea_o among_o many_o wild_a and_o savage_a creature_n who_o seek_v thereby_o set_v a_o brand_n of_o just_a reproach_n and_o eternal_a infamy_n upon_o the_o forehead_n of_o such_o feign_a &_o counterfeit_a christian_n who_o be_v the_o stain_n of_o true_a religion_n and_o christianity_n &_o such_o as_o though_o they_o think_v that_o of_o right_n they_o may_v claim_v this_o title_n to_o themselves_o to_o be_v the_o choose_a people_n of_o god_n those_o to_o who_o he_o have_v give_v the_o name_n &_o privilege_n of_o his_o own_o son_n yet_o in_o very_a deed_n be_v the_o child_n of_o the_o devil_n sevenfold_a more_o than_o the_o heathen_a themselves_o who_o know_v not_o god_n in_o christ_n o_o merciful_a lord_n grant_v i_o humble_o beseech_v thou_o that_o as_o i_o call_v thou_o father_n and_o believe_v and_o acknowledge_v myself_o to_o be_v thy_o own_o conversation_n to_o the_o glory_n of_o thy_o name_n the_o peace_n and_o comfort_n of_o my_o own_o conscience_n and_o to_o the_o good_a example_n of_o other_o who_o thou_o have_v advance_v unto_o the_o same_o profession_n which_o be_v so_o glorious_a god_n patience_n in_o bear_v with_o sinner_n it_o be_v a_o wonder_n that_o the_o sun_n which_o be_v a_o witness_n of_o so_o many_o and_o so_o his_o face_n from_o they_o but_o sometime_o he_o do_v gracious_o visit_v they_o and_o cause_v they_o to_o taste_v abundantlie_o of_o the_o sweetness_n of_o his_o kindness_n his_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n so_o that_o they_o be_v exceed_o refresh_v and_o feel_v such_o divine_a and_o heavenly_a comfort_n and_o inward_a solace_n as_o that_o they_o be_v not_o able_a outward_o to_o express_v it_o and_o sometime_o again_o as_o though_o he_o have_v forget_v they_o he_o seem_v to_o hide_v and_o to_o absent_v himself_o from_o they_o and_o suffer_v they_o to_o be_v assail_v with_o some_o grievous_a temptation_n so_o that_o their_o day_n be_v turn_v into_o night_n their_o light_n into_o darkness_n their_o joy_n and_o gladness_n into_o sorrow_n and_o heaviness_n and_o this_o the_o lord_n do_v that_o he_o may_v cause_v they_o to_o acknowledge_v this_o to_o be_v his_o gift_n even_o that_o inward_a &_o spiritual_a comfort_n wherewith_o their_o spirit_n do_v rejoice_v before_o he_o and_o same_o lot_n with_o the_o wicked_a though_o it_o seem_v outward_o to_o fare_v well_o with_o they_o but_o let_v i_o always_o rest_v in_o thou_o and_o rejoice_v in_o that_o portion_n which_o thou_o that_o be_v empty_v of_o the_o troublesome_a care_n and_o sinful_a desire_n wherewith_o most_o be_v surcharge_v and_o the_o mind_n that_o be_v set_v at_o liberty_n from_o all_o earthly_a vanity_n be_v fit_a to_o come_v before_o god_n with_o truth_n uprightness_n and_o sincerity_n and_o to_o offer_v such_o sacrifice_n with_o which_o he_o be_v well_o please_v and_o wherein_o he_o most_o delight_v o_o lord_n let_v not_o the_o excessive_a and_o inordinate_a desire_n of_o any_o earthly_a thing_n cleave_v unto_o i_o empty_a my_o heart_n of_o the_o care_n of_o this_o world_n banish_v far_o from_o i_o yield_v he_o that_o contentment_n which_o he_o look_v for_o in_o it_o afterward_o he_o be_v perplex_v and_o trouble_v in_o mind_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o guilt_n which_o he_o have_v bring_v upon_o any_o unbridled_a passion_n any_o inordinate_a affection_n it_o be_v a_o mere_a slavery_n to_o be_v a_o servant_n unto_o any_o such_o lust_n &_o the_o only_a mean_n to_o obtain_v true_a liberty_n heart_n ease_n peace_n and_o sound_a contentement_n to_o resist_v they_o and_o to_o get_v the_o mastery_n over_o they_o and_o to_o be_v no_o way_n bind_v to_o they_o o_o merciful_a lord_n let_v i_o not_o be_v addict_v to_o these_o thing_n which_o be_v base_a earthly_a and_o sensual_a let_v i_o never_o willing_o yield_v unto_o any_o sinful_a desire_n of_o my_o corrupt_a nature_n but_o give_v i_o grace_v always_o to_o bridle_v yea_o to_o subdue_v and_o to_o mortify_v those_o wicked_a affection_n which_o otherwise_o will_v prevail_v against_o i_o that_o so_o be_v overmaster_v and_o even_o bring_v into_o subjection_n under_o i_o through_o the_o work_n of_o thy_o gracious_a spirit_n in_o i_o i_o may_v pass_v the_o whole_a time_n of_o my_o life_n hereafter_o in_o rest_n quietness_n and_o true_a peace_n and_o contentedness_n and_o serve_v thou_o with_o perfect_a liberty_n and_o freedom_n all_o my_o day_n the_o life_n of_o the_o righteous_a as_o well_o to_o be_v seek_v after_o as_o their_o death_n wish_v i_o marvel_v not_o that_o all_o man_n even_o the_o most_o wicked_a and_o profane_a of_o the_o world_n do_v with_o curse_a balaam_n desire_n and_o wish_v for_o the_o death_n of_o the_o righteous_a see_v the_o end_n of_o it_o be_v true_a and_o perfect_a blessedness_n and_o the_o want_n of_o it_o extreme_a woe_n and_o misery_n but_o this_o seem_v very_o strange_a unto_o i_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o as_o well_o desire_v the_o life_n of_o the_o righteous_a not_o only_o because_o this_o be_v the_o mean_n to_o come_v unto_o the_o other_o that_o necessary_o depend_v hereupon_o but_o also_o since_o herein_o be_v true_a happiness_n to_o be_v find_v and_o that_o which_o be_v to_o be_v desire_v of_o all_o man_n and_o without_o which_o man_n can_v but_o be_v miserable_a and_o even_o a_o burden_n unto_o himself_o for_o the_o righteous_a the_o sincere_a and_o upright_o in_o life_n and_o conversation_n they_o only_o lead_v a_o peaceable_a a_o comfortable_a and_o a_o joyful_a life_n they_o rejoice_v not_o so_o much_o in_o the_o face_n as_o in_o heart_n not_o so_o much_o to_o the_o tooth_n outward_o as_o in_o soul_n and_o spirit_n inward_o whereas_o the_o hypocrite_n the_o false_a heart_a and_o all_o that_o love_v unrighteousness_n never_o have_v any_o true_a mirth_n any_o sound_a joy_n but_o only_o a_o false_a &_o counterfeit_a image_n thereof_o which_o when_o it_o be_v at_o the_o best_a be_v but_o hollow_a rot_a and_o unsound_a yea_o when_o they_o sport_v themselves_o in_o their_o carnal_a and_o worldly_a delight_n most_o immoderate_o and_o break_v forth_o into_o excessive_a laughter_n yet_o than_o their_o joy_n be_v but_o the_o fit_a as_o it_o be_v of_o a_o frantic_a or_o mad_a man_n they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o do_v and_o at_o length_n their_o sorrowful_a dump_n their_o trouble_a thought_n and_o distract_n care_n return_v again_o unto_o they_o unsent_a for_o they_o break_v off_o their_o laughter_n with_o a_o sigh_n and_o end_v their_o mirth_n with_o heaviness_n anguish_n and_o great_a perplexednes_n yea_o the_o lord_n fill_v their_o soul_n with_o much_o bitterness_n so_o that_o many_o time_n to_o be_v ease_v of_o it_o they_o can_v willing_o be_v rid_v of_o their_o life_n in_o which_o they_o find_v so_o small_a comfort_n lord_n let_v i_o be_v as_o careful_a to_o lead_v a_o good_a life_n as_o to_o make_v a_o godly_a end_n let_v i_o hate_v all_o unrighteousness_n and_o forsake_v all_o the_o way_n of_o the_o ungodly_a and_o let_v i_o seek_v by_o all_o mean_n to_o attain_v unto_o true_a holiness_n and_o strive_v after_o sincerity_n and_o uprightness_n that_o so_o the_o spirit_n of_o joy_n and_o gladness_n may_v rest_v continual_o upon_o i_o and_o cause_v i_o always_o to_o rejoice_v unfeigned_o in_o thou_o with_o that_o inward_a spiritual_a joy_n and_o comfort_n the_o sweetness_n whereof_o none_o know_v but_o thy_o only_a even_o those_o who_o thou_o have_v give_v to_o taste_v of_o it_o and_o which_o be_v once_o give_v of_o thou_o from_o who_o alone_o it_o proceed_v none_o be_v able_a to_o take_v it_o away_o again_o the_o folly_n and_o danger_n of_o defer_v repentance_n it_o be_v exceed_a folly_n many_o day_n and_o want_v nothing_o of_o those_o thing_n here_o below_o which_o seem_v most_o precious_a and_o glorious_a in_o the_o eye_n of_o man_n what_o shall_v i_o say_v more_o we_o be_v more_o trouble_v with_o the_o fear_n and_o dread_n of_o our_o natural_a death_n the_o death_n of_o our_o body_n which_o if_o our_o life_n be_v such_o as_o they_o ought_v to_o be_v will_v be_v more_o desire_v then_o fear_v of_o we_o be_v the_o entrance_n into_o that_o promise_a rest_n and_o happiness_n then_o of_o the_o death_n of_o our_o spirit_n yea_o of_o our_o soul_n and_o body_n even_o that_o fearful_a &_o most_o dreadful_a death_n which_o be_v the_o second_o death_n when_o as_o the_o soul_n present_o after_o the_o dissolution_n and_o separation_n of_o it_o from_o the_o body_n in_o the_o end_n of_o this_o life_n and_o both_o soul_n and_o body_n even_o the_o whole_a man_n immediate_o after_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n have_v receive_v their_o final_a doom_n shall_v be_v deliver_v up_o unto_o eternal_a death_n and_o condemnation_n in_o hell_n where_o they_o shall_v be_v punish_v with_o everlasting_a perdition_n from_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o from_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o power_n sure_o many_o such_o there_o be_v in_o all_o place_n who_o have_v so_o small_a sense_n and_o feel_n of_o the_o great_a evil_n both_o present_a and_o imminent_a that_o be_v more_o grieve_v and_o trouble_v for_o the_o approach_n of_o some_o lesser_a evil_n then_o of_o the_o great_a misery_n that_o can_v possible_o befall_v a_o man_n the_o very_a remembrance_n and_o glorious_a thing_n which_o thou_o have_v promise_v and_o prepare_v for_o all_o thy_o saint_n in_o that_o heavenly_a kingdom_n let_v we_o not_o fear_v the_o death_n of_o these_o mortal_a body_n of_o we_o which_o be_v but_o dust_n and_o shall_v return_v to_o the_o earth_n of_o which_o they_o be_v frame_v let_v not_o the_o remembrance_n thereof_o trouble_v we_o or_o be_v any_o way_n grievous_a
