sin_n &_o therefore_o need_v not_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n and_o benefit_n of_o christ_n for_o their_o salvation_n and_o those_o also_o which_o teach_v that_o although_o they_o must_v needs_o have_v forgiveness_n of_o sin_n yet_o that_o the_o same_o may_v be_v obtain_v without_o faith_n in_o christ_n and_o those_o too_o which_o think_v that_o although_o we_o need_v to_o have_v faith_n in_o christ_n yet_o that_o the_o same_o be_v not_o sufficient_a but_o that_o we_o need_v also_o our_o own_o work_n as_o merit_n necessary_a for_o the_o obtain_n forgiveness_n of_o sin_n but_o especial_o those_o that_o teach_v the_o same_o to_o be_v do_v by_o ungodly_a worship_n and_o fond_a superstition_n neither_o do_v we_o allow_v of_o those_o which_o have_v teach_v that_o we_o be_v justify_v by_o no_o other_o justice_n than_o that_o inward_a and_o inherent_a justice_n nor_o those_o which_o think_v that_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n can_v stand_v without_o the_o internal_a renew_v and_o justice_n we_o also_o condemn_v they_o which_o suppose_v they_o may_v be_v justify_v and_o save_v by_o the_o historical_a faith_n concern_v christ_n which_o james_n call_v a_o dead_a faith_n that_o be_v none_o at_o all_o yea_o and_o there_o opinion_n be_v disallow_v of_o we_o which_o teach_v that_o a_o man_n be_v justify_v not_o by_o remission_n of_o sin_n and_o imputation_n of_o christ_n justice_n but_o even_o by_o the_o very_a essential_a righteousness_n as_o they_o call_v it_o of_o christ_n real_o communicate_v to_o us._n chap._n xx._n of_o the_o regenerate_a man_n freechoise_n fit_a brief_o to_o declare_v our_o faith_n concern_v these_o two_o thing_n and_o the_o rather_o since_o among_o the_o professor_n of_o christ_n there_o be_v some_o controversy_n about_o both_o these_o of_o his_o discipline_n and_o therefore_o we_o believe_v that_o it_o belong_v to_o the_o true_a government_n and_o edification_n of_o the_o church_n that_o prince_n shall_v chief_o subject_v themselves_o to_o be_v teach_v admonish_v and_o reform_v by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n whereby_o other_o by_o their_o example_n may_v do_v so_o also_o the_o more_o cheerful_o and_o that_o if_o they_o we_o believe_v the_o church_n to_o be_v holy_a &_o to_o consist_v of_o the_o society_n and_o communion_n of_o saint_n to_o witness_v unto_o we_o that_o not_o for_o our_o own_o merit_n but_o by_o our_o faith_n in_o the_o father_n son_n and_o holy_a ghost_n and_o because_o we_o be_v in_o the_o church_n and_o have_v communion_n with_o all_o the_o saint_n therefore_o we_o daily_o obtain_v forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o final_o by_o this_o place_n of_o the_o article_n of_o faith_n we_o may_v well_o believe_v and_o confess_v that_o after_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n obtain_v in_o this_o militant_a church_n there_o be_v no_o more_o to_o be_v look_v for_o of_o the_o dead_a but_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o life_n everlasting_a x._o error_n thus_o we_o condemn_v the_o error_n the_o cloud_n shall_v go_v to_o meet_v he_o 25.31_o 1._o thess_n 5.1_o etc._n etc._n mat._n 24.3_o &_o 25.31_o attend_v on_o by_o the_o angel_n and_o appear_v in_o his_o great_a majesty_n and_o glory_n as_o also_o he_o himself_o and_o his_o apostle_n have_v teach_v and_o leave_v in_o writing_n ii_o christ_n shall_v visible_o return_v from_o one_o place_n to_o another_o and_o that_o with_o a_o body_n visible_a local_a and_o determinate_a we_o therefore_o believe_v christ_n shall_v so_o return_v visible_o as_o he_o before_o in_o the_o apostle_n sight_n ascend_v into_o heaven_n and_o consequent_o not_o exist_v every_o where_n see_v also_o the_o holy_a ghost_n describe_v such_o a_o descend_v unto_o simple_a people_n which_o he_o show_v can_v be_v make_v without_o change_n of_o place_n iii_o the_o faithless_a reprobate_n shall_v not_o come_v up_o to_o christ_n sit_v in_o the_o cloud_n but_o remain_v on_o the_o earth_n shall_v hear_v the_o sentence_n of_o the_o judge_n but_o see_v the_o scripture_n do_v pronounce_v only_o of_o the_o godly_a that_o they_o shall_v be_v catch_v up_o into_o the_o cloud_n and_o shall_v meet_v christ_n in_o the_o air_n we_o believe_v that_o the_o ungodlie_a shall_v not_o come_v up_o unto_o christ_n but_o remain_v under_o his_o foot_n upon_o the_o earth_n shall_v hear_v that_o sentence_n of_o the_o judge_n go_v you_o curse_v into_o everlasting_a fire_n when_o all_o the_o saint_n which_o shall_v be_v aloft_o with_o christ_n shall_v approve_v the_o same_o sentence_n of_o the_o judge_n according_a as_o the_o apostle_n think_v 6.2.3_o 1._o cor._n 6.2.3_o the_o saint_n shall_v judge_v the_o world_n yea_o and_o the_o angel_n iv_o for_o what_o cause_v that_o general_a judgement_n be_v appoint_v and_o we_o believe_v that_o all_o the_o world_n and_o thereby_o be_v manifest_o see_v how_o just_a the_o judgement_n of_o god_n be_v ever_o from_o the_o first_o to_o the_o last_o whereupon_o also_o the_o apostle_n call_v that_o day_n the_o day_n of_o declaration_n the_o other_o cause_n 2.5_o rom._n 2.5_o be_v that_o the_o reward_n which_o be_v promise_v aswell_o to_o the_o good_a for_o their_o good_a work_n as_o to_o the_o bad_a for_o their_o evil_a deed_n shall_v be_v full_o pay_v and_o restore_v as_o the_o apostle_n say_v 5.10_o 2._o cor._n 5.10_o we_o must_v all_o appear_v before_o the_o judgement_n seat_n of_o christ_n that_o every_o man_n may_v receive_v the_o thing_n which_o be_v do_v in_o his_o body_n according_a to_o that_o he_o have_v do_v whether_o it_o be_v good_a or_o evil_n whereupon_o also_o the_o due_a unto_o we_o only_o upon_o favour_n and_o not_o but_o for_o christ_n sake_n for_o albeit_o it_o be_v a_o mere_a gift_n of_o god_n which_o the_o elect_n shall_v receive_v and_o purchase_v by_o the_o merit_n of_o christ_n alone_o yet_o we_o doubt_v not_o but_o it_o be_v name_v and_o that_o it_o be_v true_o a_o reward_n since_o the_o lord_n jesus_n vouchsafe_v to_o call_v it_o so_o namely_o a_o free_a reward_n see_v also_o that_o the_o good_a work_n themselves_o of_o the_o godly_a and_o all_o the_o cause_n wherefrom_o the_o same_o do_v proceed_v be_v free_a gift_n of_o god_n free_a election_n free_a redemption_n free_a calling_n faith_n justification_n regeneration_n forgruenesse_n of_o sin_n and_o last_o a_o free_a pardon_n of_o all_o want_n and_o imperfection_n wherewith_o our_o good_a work_n be_v infect_v and_o a_o free_a imputation_n of_o christ_n perfect_a obedience_n wherewith_o our_o imperfect_a obedience_n be_v clothe_v and_o make_v acceptable_a to_o god_n and_o consequent_o to_o speak_v proper_o be_v a_o reward_n not_o due_a unto_o we_o for_o our_o own_o work_n consider_v in_o themselves_o but_o for_o the_o merit_n of_o christ_n impute_v to_o us._n vi_o after_o the_o judgement_n give_v the_o godly_a shall_v be_v present_o with_o christ_n in_o heaven_n but_o the_o ungodly_a in_o hell_n with_o the_o devil_n &_o his_o angel_n further_o more_o we_o believe_v that_o present_o after_o the_o same_o judgement_n the_o godly_a shall_v follow_v christ_n into_o heaven_n but_o the_o wicked_a shall_v be_v thrust_v down_o with_o the_o devil_n into_o hell_n christ_n say_v to_o the_o first_o come_v you_o bless_v of_o my_o father_n but_o to_o the_o other_o go_v you_o curse_v into_o everlasting_a fire_n vii_o that_o day_n shall_v be_v to_o the_o godly_a most_o joyful_a and_o be_v therefore_o to_o be_v wish_v for_o to_o the_o wicked_a most_o heavy_a &_o be_v therefore_o even_o in_o the_o only_o hear_v intolerable_a so_o do_v we_o believe_v that_o this_o last_o day_n shall_v be_v unto_o they_o which_o be_v graft_v into_o christ_n most_o happy_a and_o joyful_a and_o therefore_o love_v &_o wish_v of_o they_o 4.8_o 2._o tim._n 4.8_o and_o aught_o to_o be_v love_v &_o wish_v for_o of_o we_o and_o to_o the_o wicked_a the_o most_o accurse_a and_o woeful_a day_n that_o ever_o be_v and_o therefore_o no_o marvel_n though_o they_o hate_v that_o day_n appearance_n as_o they_o call_v it_o &_o a_o certain_a likeness_n to_o the_o which_o the_o angel_n do_v affirm_v the_o contrary_a unto_o the_o apostle_n 1.11_o act._n 1.11_o as_o you_o have_v see_v he_o ascend_v into_o heaven_n so_o shall_v he_o come_v again_o we_o disallow_v also_o those_o which_o teach_v that_o the_o work_n of_o piety_n consider_v in_o themselves_o be_v the_o true_a cause_n at_o the_o length_n be_v quench_v so_o that_o all_o even_o the_o devil_n themselves_o shall_v live_v bless_o in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n flat_a against_o the_o plain_a word_n of_o christ_n go_v you_o into_o everlasting_a fire_n 25.4_o mat._n 25.4_o chap._n xxx_o of_o eternal_a life_n i._o eternal_a life_n shall_v be_v give_v to_o all_o which_o by_o their_o good_a work_n have_v witness_v
