anoint_v to_o this_o we_o may_v say_v not_o their_o outward_a or_o bodily_a eye_n for_o here_o the_o holy_a spirit_n speak_v of_o spiritual_a thing_n as_o have_v in_o some_o measure_n be_v show_v and_o it_o appear_v their_o blindness_n be_v not_o upon_o the_o bodily_a eye_n because_o they_o will_v then_o have_v know_v it_o but_o of_o these_o he_o say_v thou_o know_v not_o that_o thou_o be_v blind_a they_o be_v insensible_a of_o their_o misery_n which_o very_o rare_o if_o ever_o person_n be_v of_o their_o outward_a blindness_n unless_o such_o as_o be_v whole_o bereave_v of_o judgement_n but_o there_o be_v other_o eye_n to_o wit_n those_o of_o the_o soul_n the_o mind_n or_o understanding_n of_o a_o man_n that_o faculty_n of_o the_o soul_n whereby_o a_o man_n may_v see_v when_o it_o be_v open_v such_o thing_n as_o the_o bodily_a eye_n can_v discern_v and_o of_o these_o inward_a eye_n our_o saviour_n here_o speak_v their_o understanding_n be_v darken_v ephes_n 4._o 18._o their_o mind_n be_v blind_v 2_o cor._n 4._o 4._o &_o 3._o 14._o these_o eye_n be_v call_v the_o eye_n of_o the_o understanding_n ephes_n 1._o 18._o of_o these_o eye_n our_o saviour_n speak_v when_o he_o say_v to_o his_o disciple_n perceive_v you_o not_o yet_o neither_o understand_v have_v you_o your_o heart_n yet_o harden_v have_v eye_n see_v you_o not_o how_o be_v it_o that_o you_o do_v not_o understand_v natural_a or_o moral_a thing_n so_o it_o be_v with_o this_o angel_n and_o church_n and_o therefore_o this_o gracious_a and_o faithful_a counsellor_n instruct_v and_o counsel_v they_o to_o anoint_v their_o eye_n to_o wit_n of_o the_o understanding_n with_o this_o eyesalve_n 2._o what_o be_v this_o eye_n salve_v here_o speak_v of_o and_o commend_v to_o they_o by_o this_o
