day_n stand_v so_o stout_o against_o it_o that_o they_o count_v not_o their_o life_n dear_a unto_o themselves_o that_o they_o may_v finish_v the_o testimony_n they_o have_v receive_v from_o the_o divine_a spirit_n which_o indeed_o history_n be_v clear_a in_o to_o they_o that_o read_v with_o understanding_n for_o the_o question_n put_v to_o they_o be_v not_o why_o do_v you_o break_v bread_n and_o drink_n wine_n in_o your_o sacrament_n without_o consecration_n but_o what_o say_v you_o to_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o altar_n after_o the_o bread_n and_o wine_n be_v consecrate_a be_v the_o real_a presence_n of_o christ_n there_o i_o or_o no_o this_o be_v the_o interrogatory_n they_o be_v to_o answer_v and_o brave_o indeed_o do_v tindal_n philpot_n and_o other_o maintain_v their_o if_o any_o shall_v be_v offend_v at_o what_o i_o have_v write_v to_o vindicate_v the_o lay_n aside_o of_o this_o outward_a sign_n where_o the_o thing_n signify_v be_v inward_o come_v if_o they_o will_v dwell_v upon_o the_o figure_n of_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n without_o and_o care_v not_o to_o come_v to_o know_v and_o witness_v his_o resurrection_n and_o life_n in_o themselves_o i_o will_v leave_v they_o where_o they_o be_v give_v they_o to_o understand_v i_o have_v not_o attempt_v a_o formal_a confutation_n of_o error_n but_o a_o vindication_n of_o the_o truth_n chap._n vi_o measure_n of_o the_o stature_n of_o the_o fullness_n of_o christ._n yea_o this_o seem_v to_o be_v the_o end_n of_o christ_n give_v himself_n for_o his_o church_n that_o he_o may_v sanctify_v and_o cleanse_v it_o that_o he_o may_v present_v it_o to_o himself_o a_o glorious_a church_n not_o have_v spot_n or_o wrinkle_n or_o any_o such_o thing_n but_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v holy_a and_o they_o they_o must_v have_v perish_v in_o this_o deplorable_a condition_n and_o this_o way_n of_o restoration_n be_v by_o christ_n the_o light_n the_o seed_n and_o saviour_n for_o he_o of_o who_o god_n say_v unto_o the_o serpent_n i_o will_v put_v enmity_n between_o thou_o and_o the_o woman_n and_o between_o thy_o seed_n and_o her_o seed_n it_o shall_v bruise_v thy_o head_n and_o thou_o shall_v bruise_v his_o heel_n he_o it_o be_v who_o be_v to_o be_v the_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n so_o that_o now_o consider_v the_o son_n and_o daughter_n of_o adam_n as_o they_o be_v find_v in_o the_o fall_n and_o degeneration_n have_v all_o sin_v and_o come_v short_a of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n herein_o i_o say_v have_v his_o universal_a love_n and_o free_a grace_n appear_v to_o wit_n in_o measure_n of_o his_o own_o divine_a light_n and_o spirit_n unto_o all_o the_o child_n of_o man_n 16.22_o to_o manifest_v and_o reveal_v the_o appearance_n of_o his_o son_n in_o they_o we_o who_o be_v that_o same_o saviour_n which_o shed_v his_o blood_n for_o we_o that_o he_o may_v wash_v we_o and_o cleanse_v we_o from_o our_o sin_n and_o be_v offer_v upon_o the_o cross_n not_o only_o as_o a_o propitiatory_a sacrifice_n to_o make_v reconciliation_n for_o the_o transgressor_n but_o that_o by_o he_o once_o offer_v up_o of_o himself_o he_o may_v bring_v in_o everlasting_a righteousness_n and_o perfect_a forever_o they_o that_o be_v sanctify_v and_o a_o measure_n i_o say_v of_o this_o his_o power_n which_o be_v light_n god_n have_v place_v in_o every_o person_n heart_n in_o order_n to_o their_o sanctification_n as_o they_o shall_v be_v subject_a to_o this_o his_o appearance_n in_o they_o true_o indeed_o all_o be_v not_o sanctify_v and_o make_v perfect_a by_o he_o although_o this_o be_v the_o end_n of_o his_o come_n that_o he_o may_v finish_v transgression_n and_o make_v a_o end_n of_o sin_n and_o this_o be_v the_o will_n of_o the_o father_n in_o send_v he_o to_o wit_n our_o thorough_a sanctification_n but_o this_o be_v not_o because_o all_o have_v not_o a_o knowledge_n and_o manifestation_n of_o his_o light_n or_o spiritual_a appearance_n of_o he_o in_o themselves_o but_o because_o all_o do_v not_o believe_v in_o and_o obey_v this_o his_o appearance_n now_o that_o people_n may_v attain_v to_o what_o knowledge_n may_v be_v have_v of_o god_n by_o the_o inward_a manifestation_n of_o the_o light_n of_o his_o son_n which_o be_v a_o measure_n of_o his_o spirit_n in_o their_o heart_n this_o be_v clear_o prove_v by_o the_o apostle_n rom._n 1._o 19_o that_o which_o may_v be_v know_v of_o god_n say_v he_o be_v manifest_a be_v man_n for_o god_n have_v show_v it_o into_o they_o for_o the_o lord_n of_o the_o whole_a earth_n who_o be_v the_o preserver_n of_o man_n he_o be_v impartial_a in_o his_o love_n to_o all_o mankind_n not_o only_o to_o they_o in_o christendom_n so_o call_v who_o have_v the_o scripture_n among_o they_o but_o his_o love_n be_v extend_v unto_o all_o people_n in_o one_o land_n as_o well_o as_o in_o another_o for_o his_o spirit_n be_v not_o
