three_o thing_n and_o that_o be_v the_o subject_a matter_n of_o this_o epistle_n which_o consist_v of_o three_o thing_n first_o a_o reprehension_n of_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o minister_n and_o the_o body_n of_o his_o congregation_n second_o a_o direction_n or_o the_o show_n of_o the_o remedy_n for_o the_o cure_n of_o their_o sin_n three_o a_o commendation_n of_o some_o particular_a person_n in_o that_o congregation_n that_o be_v not_o carry_v away_o with_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o time_n the_o reprehension_n be_v either_o in_o general_a i_o know_v thy_o work_n that_o be_v i_o know_v they_o all_o and_o i_o know_v they_o to_o be_v stark_o nought_o for_o the_o most_o part_n whatever_o they_o seem_v they_o may_v seem_v to_o be_v very_o good_a but_o i_o tell_v you_o plain_o i_o know_v they_o all_o what_o they_o be_v q._n d._n general_o they_o be_v stark_o nought_o and_o then_o in_o particular_a he_o instance_n in_o two_o first_o the_o sin_n of_o hypocrisy_n or_o seem_v to_o be_v good_a thou_o have_v a_o name_n that_o thou_o live_v second_o the_o sin_n of_o deadness_n of_o heart_n but_o thou_o be_v dead_a this_o be_v the_o reprehension_n or_o the_o reproof_n then_o follow_v the_o direction_n or_o the_o show_n of_o the_o remedy_n for_o he_o do_v not_o reprove_v they_o out_o of_o any_o ill_a will_n but_o for_o their_o good_a and_o therefore_o he_o prescribe_v they_o a_o remedy_n and_o the_o remedy_n be_v twofold_a the_o first_o be_v to_o strengthen_v the_o thing_n that_o remain_v that_o be_v ready_a to_o die_v v_o 2._o q._n d._n as_o many_o of_o you_o as_o be_v not_o quite_o and_o clean_o dead_a stir_v up_o yourselves_o quicken_v up_o your_o heart_n and_o this_o be_v first_o illustrate_v by_o show_v how_o they_o shall_v do_v thus_o be_v watchful_a say_v he_o q._n d._n that_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o you_o languish_v on_o this_o fashion_n and_o you_o will_v languish_v more_o and_o more_o because_o you_o be_v not_o watchful_a therefore_o be_v watchful_a and_o then_o remember_v how_o &c._n &c._n i.e._n consider_v how_o thou_o have_v be_v teach_v and_o bewail_v thy_o declining_n for_o thou_o be_v horrible_o depart_v from_o what_o thou_o have_v hear_v out_o of_o
