of_o the_o goodness_n and_o bountifulness_n of_o god_n in_o these_o blessing_n towards_o they_o in_o christ_n the_o speech_n of_o the_o one_o as_o it_o be_v without_o feeling_n so_o be_v it_o fectles_a and_o without_o force_n they_o can_v speak_v of_o his_o goodness_n and_o not_o give_v he_o glory_n whereas_o the_o other_o be_v force_v by_o their_o feeling_n to_o glorify_v god_n because_o he_o be_v good_a his_o love_n in_o their_o heart_n constrain_a they_o as_o say_v the_o apostle_n 5.14_o 2._o cor._n 5.14_o this_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o the_o saint_n in_o god_n word_n have_v make_v adoption_n of_o his_o son_n and_o be_v beget_v of_o he_o again_o we_o be_v all_o without_o christ_n without_o hope_n and_o without_o god_n in_o the_o world_n what_o great_a misery_n can_v there_o be_v we_o may_v be_v encourage_v with_o great_a patience_n and_o constancy_n to_o run_v the_o race_n that_o be_v lay_v before_o we_o and_o to_o hold_v fast_o the_o confession_n of_o our_o hope_n without_o waver_v unto_o the_o end_n wait_v still_o for_o the_o manifestation_n of_o our_o bless_a hope_n in_o the_o glorious_a appear_v of_o jesus_n christ_n our_o saviour_n therefore_o be_v it_o that_o the_o apostle_n in_o this_o place_n have_v speak_v of_o the_o abundant_a mercy_n of_o god_n in_o beget_v we_o again_o to_o the_o hope_n of_o life_n in_o the_o next_o place_n expound_v the_o excellency_n of_o this_o life_n hope_v for_o that_o thereby_o we_o may_v understande_v that_o all_o thing_n in_o this_o world_n be_v but_o vanity_n and_o in_o comparison_n thereof_o nothing_o but_o dirt_n and_o dung_n and_o so_o to_o be_v account_v loss_n that_o we_o may_v gain_v it_o afterward_o he_o declare_v to_o we_o the_o surety_n &_o certainty_n which_o the_o saint_n have_v of_o enjoy_v this_o life_n hope_v for_o both_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o life_n &_o also_o of_o themselves_o so_o that_o here_o we_o have_v the_o other_o two_o point_n of_o consolation_n touch_v our_o hope_n to_o be_v consider_v whereof_o we_o do_v speak_v in_o our_o last_o sermon_n to_o wit_n the_o excellency_n of_o the_o life_n which_o we_o look_v for_o and_o the_o certainty_n of_o our_o attain_n to_o it_o the_o first_o be_v express_v in_o these_o word_n to_o a_o inheritance_n immortal_a and_o undefiled_a and_o that_o wither_v not_o the_o other_o in_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o word_n which_o we_o have_v read_v in_o the_o first_o point_n we_o have_v two_o thing_n to_o consider_v one_o be_v the_o title_n or_o name_n which_o the_o apostle_n give_v to_o our_o hope_n or_o life_n the_o other_o be_v the_o property_n which_o he_o attribute_v to_o it_o by_o which_o he_o set_v before_o we_o the_o preciousnes_n &_o excellency_n of_o it_o the_o title_n which_o he_o give_v it_o be_v that_o it_o be_v a_o inheritance_n the_o property_n be_v three_o eternity_n purity_n and_o unchangeablenes_n to_o speak_v then_o of_o the_o first_o the_o apostle_n call_v eternal_a life_n servaunt_n eternal_a life_n be_v a_o inheritance_n belong_v to_o the_o son_n not_o to_o servaunt_n a_o inheritance_n to_o inform_v we_o by_o what_o title_n we_o attain_v unto_o it_o and_o by_o what_o right_a we_o enjoy_v it_o to_o wit_n by_o the_o right_n of_o heir_n for_o see_v god_n only_o do_v inherit_v immortality_n and_o life_n as_o his_o proper_a possession_n we_o can_v never_o attain_v to_o it_o till_o first_o we_o be_v make_v the_o heir_n of_o god_n
