they_o and_o the_o day_n itself_o provoke_v to_o mourn_v be_v amaze_v for_o they_o when_o the_o very_a barbarous_a nation_n rejoice_v for_o their_o sake_n which_o receive_v and_o harbour_v they_o when_o they_o be_v afraid_a and_o flee_v from_o we_o keep_v they_o as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o most_o love_a and_o amiable_a captivity_n to_o which_o i_o may_v say_v alas_o alas_o that_o ever_o any_o which_o many_o thousand_o christian_n be_v fall_v who_o profess_v christ_n in_o word_n and_o yet_o walk_v so_o far_o contrary_a to_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n and_o be_v so_o far_o out_o of_o his_o nature_n which_o be_v to_o show_v kindness_n mercy_n and_o love_n to_o all_o man_n not_o only_o to_o they_o that_o believe_v but_o to_o they_o that_o believe_v not_o even_o with_o long_a patience_n to_o instruct_v they_o that_o they_o may_v believe_v and_o repent_v but_o the_o heart_n that_o be_v possess_v with_o the_o true_a knowledge_n of_o the_o woeful_a backslide_n from_o the_o ancient_a doctrine_n and_o truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n in_o which_o those_o persecute_a christian_n walk_v both_o in_o and_o after_o the_o apostle_n day_n behold_v this_o dismal_a night_n that_o be_v come_v upon_o multitude_n of_o christian_n can_v but_o even_o take_v up_o a_o lamentation_n and_o cry_v alas_o alas_o that_o ever_o any_o who_o profess_v christ_n shall_v be_v so_o far_o void_a of_o his_o bowel_n and_o mercy_n and_o shall_v have_v so_o far_o lose_v all_o tenderness_n of_o conscience_n that_o they_o shall_v even_o now_o persecute_v their_o brethren_n who_o profess_v and_o believe_v in_o some_o ceremonial_a and_o outward_a practice_n of_o christianity_n alas_o alas_o that_o ever_o the_o devil_n the_o enemy_n of_o mankind_n shall_v so_o far_o delude_v and_o deceive_v man_n who_o agree_v in_o the_o outward_a profession_n of_o one_o god_n and_o christ_n which_o be_v the_o main_a and_o weighty_a matter_n in_o the_o outward_a profession_n of_o christian_a religion_n oh_o that_o ever_o they_o shall_v be_v so_o far_o darken_v and_o mislead_v to_o afflict_v and_o persecute_v about_o the_o small_a matter_n or_o outward_a practice_n of_o religion_n whenas_o it_o ought_v to_o be_v a_o duty_n incumbent_n upon_o all_o who_o profess_v the_o name_n of_o christ_n to_o persuade_v one_o another_o in_o the_o power_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o if_o the_o true_a christian_n can_v overcome_v the_o error_n of_o the_o mind_n in_o the_o false_a christian_a after_o this_o manner_n he_o ought_v notwithstanding_o to_o walk_v in_o love_n towards_o he_o and_o leave_v he_o to_o the_o lord_n who_o be_v that_o great_a potter_n that_o have_v power_n over_o all_o man_n to_o change_v from_o error_n to_o truth_n and_o out_o of_o death_n into_o life_n when_o and_o what_o time_n soever_o he_o please_v three_o christian_n be_v to_o mind_n in_o that_o serious_a and_o weighty_a duty_n of_o prayer_n the_o motion_n and_o leading_n of_o god_n spirit_n through_o which_o their_o infirmity_n for_o but_o to_o quench_v the_o motion_n of_o the_o spirit_n if_o any_o thing_n shall_v be_v give_v this_o will_v be_v worse_o than_o to_o speak_v in_o a_o unknown_a tongue_n first_o for_o if_o any_o thing_n be_v free_o give_v christian_n ought_v free_o to_o speak_v what_o from_o god_n they_o have_v receive_v to_o the_o edification_n one_o of_o another_o as_o the_o saint_n of_o old_a do_v when_o they_o be_v meet_v together_o 1_o cor._n 14._o 26_o whether_o by_o prophecy_n doctrine_n or_o prayer_n second_o though_o people_n may_v sometime_o meet_v in_o silence_n in_o the_o name_n and_o truth_n that_o people_n may_v rather_o be_v lead_v from_o the_o truth_n thereby_o but_o when_o christian_n be_v meet_v together_o in_o christ_n name_n though_o they_o be_v silent_a for_o a_o time_n yet_o god_n have_v and_o will_v fulfil_v his_o promise_n by_o the_o manifestation_n of_o his_o presence_n among_o they_o by_o who_o spirit_n they_o receive_v inward_a teach_v both_o to_o comfort_v build_v up_o and_o instruct_v they_o so_o that_o many_o have_v go_v away_o satisfy_v with_o the_o spiritual_a sense_n of_o the_o lord_n heavenly_a presence_n which_o have_v be_v see_v and_o enjoy_v in_o silence_n among_o they_o by_o the_o income_n of_o who_o love_n his_o child_n be_v refresh_v in_o preach_v and_o without_o outward_a preach_n glory_n unto_o his_o name_n for_o ever_o who_o spirit_n
