of_o the_o spirit_n within_o man_n be_v illumination_n and_o pulsation_n when_o he_o enlighten_v sinner_n to_o see_v their_o sin_n and_o move_v and_o stir_v they_o to_o leave_v their_o sin_n and_o give_v they_o some_o trouble_n for_o their_o sin_n but_o many_o person_n there_o be_v who_o never_o have_v any_o light_n from_o the_o spirit_n to_o see_v their_o sin_n nor_o be_v they_o ever_o trouble_v for_o their_o sin_n nor_o do_v they_o ever_o find_v those_o strong_a motion_n and_o persuasion_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o leave_v their_o sin_n 2._o though_o in_o many_o person_n these_o common_a work_n of_o the_o spirit_n may_v be_v find_v yea_o so_o many_o work_n as_o the_o spirit_n use_v the_o ministry_n of_o the_o law_n for_o as_o illumination_n conviction_n excitation_n and_o lowly_a spirit_n but_o they_o be_v proud_a and_o lofty_a and_o arrogant_a the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v meek_a and_o gentle_a but_o they_o be_v turbulent_a and_o furious_a and_o violent_a the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v merciful_a and_o compassionate_a but_o they_o be_v unmerciful_a incompassionate_a cruel_a and_o bloody_a the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v a_o spirit_n of_o love_n and_o of_o peace_n but_o they_o be_v full_a of_o
they_o and_o in_o a_o order_n to_o christ_n and_o their_o salvation_n by_o he_o for_o by_o this_o they_o see_v that_o there_o be_v no_o long_o stay_v or_o rest_v in_o their_o sinful_a condition_n but_o then_o they_o must_v and_o will_v arise_v from_o their_o sleep_n in_o sin_n by_o this_o they_o find_v there_o be_v nothing_o in_o themselves_o for_o they_o to_o rest_v upon_o for_o when_o the_o spirit_n indeed_o convince_v we_o of_o our_o sinful_a condition_n as_o he_o do_v therewith_o convince_v we_o of_o the_o curse_n and_o wrath_n so_o do_v he_o at_o the_o same_o time_n convince_v we_o the_o will_n of_o another_o 4_o a_o laborious_a and_o toilsome_a condition_n and_o that_o upon_o very_o hard_a and_o cruel_a term_n 5_o a_o vexation_n and_o grievous_a condition_n even_o ready_a to_o break_v the_o heart_n 6_o a_o most_o dangerous_a condition_n wherein_o our_o life_n lie_v at_o the_o mercy_n of_o he_o who_o have_v it_o in_o bondage_n every_o hour_n 7_o it_o be_v a_o most_o wearisome_a and_o burdensome_a condition_n one_o will_v be_v most_o glad_a of_o escape_n and_o deliverance_n out_o of_o it_o thus_o it_o be_v with_o a_o man_n who_o have_v receive_v the_o spirit_n of_o bondage_n 1._o he_o look_v on_o his_o sinful_a condition_n and_o on_o himself_o as_o vile_a and_o base_a and_o cry_v out_o like_o the_o leper_n unclean_a unclean_a like_o paul_n o_o wretched_a man_n that_o i_o be_o 2._o he_o look_v on_o himself_o as_o in_o prison_n as_o one_o shut_v up_o and_o shackle_a and_o fetter_v no_o liberty_n no_o power_n to_o any_o good_a 3._o he_o look_v on_o himself_o as_o fall_v into_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o live_a god_n and_o righteous_a god_n who_o may_v when_o he_o will_v execute_v his_o fierce_a wrath_n upon_o he_o 4._o on_o himself_o as_o a_o manifestation_n in_o they_o of_o the_o image_n of_o christ_n but_o they_o who_o be_v high_a in_o grace_n they_o be_v near_o to_o christ_n in_o the_o resemblance_n of_o his_o excellent_a perfection_n of_o holiness_n and_o to_o speak_v plain_o there_o be_v much_o more_o of_o christ_n in_o they_o four_o the_o more_o you_o obtain_v in_o the_o proportion_n of_o grace_n the_o great_a revenue_n of_o honour_n will_v you_o be_v able_a to_o bring_v in_o to_o god_n i_o tell_v you_o that_o the_o weak_a grace_n can_v enable_v you_o to_o bring_v god_n some_o honour_n why_o then_o much_o grace_n can_v more_o the_o more_o grace_n that_o you_o attain_v the_o more_o glorious_o will_v you_o shine_v in_o your_o conversation_n and_o in_o all_o the_o fruit_n of_o righteousness_n with_o more_o fullness_n evenness_n and_o steadfastness_n and_o all_o this_o glorify_v your_o father_n which_o be_v in_o heaven_n five_o you_o yourselves_o will_v gain_v more_o if_o your_o grace_n be_v increase_v more_o e._n g._n you_o will_v certain_o find_v more_o peace_n in_o conscience_n and_o more_o freedom_n from_o slavish_a fear_n and_o doubt_n and_o more_o confidence_n in_o your_o access_n to_o god_n and_o more_o sweetness_n in_o the_o ordinance_n of_o christ_n and_o more_o enlargement_n of_o heart_n in_o all_o your_o communion_n with_o god_n and_o more_o wisdom_n and_o strength_n against_o the_o temptation_n of_o satan_n 2._o how_o may_v one_o know_v that_o he_o have_v much_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o he_o that_o humble_a how_o to_o know_v that_o we_o have_v much_o of_o god_n spirit_n in_o we_o
