do_v in_o this_o psalm_n show_v himself_o to_o be_v mindful_a of_o the_o marvellous_a and_o merciful_a providence_n of_o god_n towards_o all_o his_o creature_n but_o especial_o towards_o man_n in_o who_o creation_n preservation_n and_o government_n he_o do_v show_v both_o his_o infinite_a wisdom_n and_o almighty_a power_n he_o show_v himself_o also_o to_o be_v mindful_a of_o the_o infinite_a have_v experience_n and_o be_v well_o able_a to_o govern_v be_v endue_v with_o all_o those_o gift_n that_o must_v be_v use_v in_o government_n if_o he_o have_v govern_v himself_o and_o his_o own_o family_n well_o then_o be_v he_o the_o meet_a to_o rule_v other_o but_o if_o this_o be_v not_o in_o he_o then_o be_v he_o altogether_o unmeet_a to_o be_v choose_v to_o public_a government_n it_o be_v also_o requisite_a that_o he_o have_v in_o he_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n in_o such_o sort_n as_o i_o have_v declare_v not_o that_o fear_n that_o be_v join_v with_o hatred_n but_o that_o which_o be_v match_v with_o love_n so_o that_o he_o do_v fear_n god_n because_o he_o love_v he_o and_o do_v love_v he_o because_o he_o fear_v he_o 2._o and_o with_o a_o reverend_a and_o love_a fear_n seek_v to_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god._n moreover_o he_o must_v be_v a_o true_a man_n no_o false_a no_o subtle_a or_o crafty_a dealer_n but_o such_o one_o as_o deal_v true_o in_o word_n and_o deed_n and_o to_o conclude_v he_o must_v even_o from_o his_o very_a heart_n hate_v that_o pestilent_a root_n covetousness_n and_o thus_o much_o for_o that_o which_o i_o think_v meet_v to_o speak_v touch_v that_o geve_v any_o part_n of_o his_o honour_n to_o any_o creature_n as_o in_o that_o commandment_n wherein_o the_o lord_n forbid_v idolatry_n he_o say_v thus_o 20._o i_o will_v visit_v the_o sin_n of_o the_o father_n upon_o the_o child_n to_o the_o three_o and_o four_o generation_n in_o they_o that_o hate_v i_o etc_n etc_n where_o they_o that_o break_v that_o commandment_n either_o in_o make_v or_o worship_v of_o any_o image_n be_v say_v to_o hate_n god_n because_o they_o put_v that_o image_n in_o the_o place_n of_o god_n and_o geve_v that_o honour_n to_o it_o which_o be_v due_a to_o god._n the_o prophet_n david_n also_o call_v such_o sinner_n when_o in_o the_o fifty_o psalm_n he_o say_v thus_o 50._o the_o lord_n say_v unto_o the_o sinner_n why_o take_v thou_o my_o testament_n in_o thy_o mouth_n see_v thou_o hate_v to_o be_v reform_v and_o thou_o have_v cast_v my_o word_n behind_o thou_o thou_o see_v a_o thief_n and_o thou_o run_v with_o he_o and_o with_o the_o adulterer_n thou_o do_v cast_v in_o thy_o lot_n etc_n etc_n these_o be_v they_o that_o hate_v the_o lord_n because_o they_o have_v even_o sell_v themselves_o to_o serve_v sin_n and_o must_v therefore_o needs_o hate_v he_o against_o who_o they_o commit_v sin_n the_o example_n of_o the_o prophet_n david_n therefore_o do_v teach_v he_o that_o shall_v be_v choose_v to_o bear_v rule_n to_o hate_v all_o such_o manner_n of_o man_n as_o these_o be_v that_o be_v that_o do_v geve_v themselves_o to_o serve_v sin_n and_o will_v not_o be_v reform_v by_o any_o manner_n admonition_n or_o fatherly_a chastisement_n he_o must_v hate_v they_o therefore_o not_o with_o such_o hatred_n as_o i_o have_v speak_v of_o that_o be_v to_o refuse_v they_o in_o election_n but_o with_o perfect_a hatred_n even_o as_o though_o they_o be_v his_o own_o enemy_n that_o be_v even_o as_o by_o the_o corruption_n of_o our_o own_o nature_n we_o be_v move_v to_o hate_v they_o that_o be_v our_o enemy_n for_o by_o the_o rule_n of_o our_o religion_n 5._o we_o be_v teach_v to_o love_v our_o enemy_n in_o that_o they_o be_v the_o enemy_n of_o god_n therefore_o we_o must_v hate_v they_o so_o far_o forth_o as_o they_o be_v so_o but_o their_o person_n we_o must_v not_o hate_v he_o therefore_o that_o shall_v bear_v rule_n must_v so_o hate_v they_o that_o hate_v the_o lord_n in_o such_o sort_n as_o i_o have_v say_v that_o he_o use_v god_n and_o to_o have_v his_o way_n know_v unto_o he_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o we_o to_o know_v that_o the_o lord_n know_v our_o way_n but_o we_o must_v be_v desirous_a that_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v such_o regard_n unto_o our_o way_n that_o he_o suffer_v we_o not_o to_o walk_v in_o any_o way_n of_o wickedness_n but_o that_o he_o do_v by_o such_o mean_n as_o may_v please_v he_o bring_v we_o to_o the_o way_n everlasting_a &_o lead_v we_o therein_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n that_o be_v in_o that_o way_n the_o end_n whereof_o be_v everlasting_a life_n and_o that_o we_o may_v continual_o walk_v in_o that_o way_n all_o the_o day_n of_o this_o our_o transitory_a life_n and_o so_o in_o the_o end_n thereof_o find_v everlasting_a life_n he_o that_o shall_v be_v choose_v therefore_o must_v learn_v by_o the_o example_n of_o david_n to_o crave_v this_o at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n and_o so_o shall_v he_o be_v always_o careful_a to_o walk_v in_o the_o lord_n way_n that_o
