second_o they_o say_v that_o if_o christ_n and_o the_o holy_a spirit_n be_v god_n it_o be_v as_o necessary_a to_o name_v these_o two_o person_n as_o the_o father_n to_o declare_v who_o that_o one_o god_n be_v to_o this_o i_o answer_v that_o if_o these_o word_n one_o god_n the_o father_n be_v personal_o to_o be_v consider_v of_o the_o father_n yet_o there_o be_v no_o necessity_n to_o mention_v the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o i_o hint_v before_o that_o when_o the_o father_n be_v call_v that_o one_o god_n the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a spirit_n must_v be_v include_v in_o that_o common_a name_n as_o be_v of_o and_o in_o the_o father_n who_o be_v essential_o so_o call_v now_o the_o apostle_n have_v tell_v we_o who_o that_o one_o god_n be_v by_o name_v that_o person_n which_o god_n and_o father_n of_o all_o who_o be_v above_o all_o lest_o we_o shall_v understand_v the_o trinity_n by_o the_o name_n of_o that_o god_n who_o be_v call_v one_o two_o person_n of_o the_o trinity_n be_v already_o mention_v and_o distinguish_v from_o that_o one_o god_n answer_n there_o can_v more_o be_v prove_v from_o this_o scripture_n than_o what_o be_v grant_v to_o wit_n that_o the_o if_o we_o be_v neither_o to_o understand_v this_o scripture_n as_o if_o the_o godhead_n be_v comprehend_v in_o christ_n (null)_o nature_n nor_o that_o the_o three_o divine_a person_n be_v equal_o now_o from_o these_o text_n of_o scripture_n i_o shall_v make_v these_o three_o observation_n first_o that_o we_o may_v as_o well_o say_v that_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n be_v quality_n as_o the_o holy_a spirit_n and_o second_o the_o baptise_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o spirit_n denote_v he_o to_o be_v a_o person_n as_o well_o as_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n by_o their_o name_n be_v so_o denote_v three_o he_o can_v be_v a_o quality_n for_o if_o the_o word_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v quality_n and_o the_o father_n only_o a_o person_n or_o else_o the_o father_n and_o word_n person_n and_o only_o the_o holy_a ghost_n a_o quality_n yet_o the_o three_o can_v neither_o be_v one_o person_n nor_o one_o quality_n four_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v a_o person_n and_o be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v a_o quality_n in_o god_n that_o he_o have_v in_o himself_o the_o quality_n of_o know_v and_o understanding_n 1_o cor._n 2.11_o even_o so_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n know_v no_o man_n but_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o also_o of_o willing_a john_n 16.7_o 8._o 1_o cor._n 12.11_o but_o all_o these_o work_v that_o one_o and_o the_o selfsame_a spirit_n divide_v to_o every_o man_n several_o as_o he_o will_n and_o therefore_o the_o holy_a spirit_n have_v personal_a quality_n be_v denote_v to_o be_v a_o person_n and_o there_o be_v not_o the_o least_o reason_n to_o believe_v but_o that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v a_o person_n who_o be_v so_o general_o treat_v of_o as_o a_o person_n second_o the_o holy_a spirit_n be_v god_n from_o the_o testimony_n of_o four_o several_a scripture_n first_o be_v matth._n 28.19_o go_v you_o therefore_o and_o teach_v all_o nation_n baptise_v they_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n and_o of_o the_o son_n and_o of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n if_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v not_o god_n why_o shall_v we_o be_v baptize_v into_o his_o name_n and_o ascribe_v unto_o he_o a_o share_n in_o the_o work_n of_o man_n salvation_n but_o that_o as_o the_o father_n be_v please_v to_o elect_v and_o ordain_v the_o son_n to_o lay_v our_o iniquity_n upon_o he_o and_o accept_v we_o in_o he_o and_o as_o the_o son_n be_v power_n to_o communicate_v to_o our_o spirit_n and_o influence_n our_o soul_n with_o good_a thing_n yet_o the_o evil_a angel_n have_v the_o same_o power_n of_o nature_n and_o be_v first_o in_o possession_n may_v keep_v our_o soul_n in_o bondage_n till_o one_o that_o be_v strong_a cast_v they_o out_o luke_n 11.22_o 1_o john_n 4.4_o and_o therefore_o the_o holy_a spirit_n have_v so_o great_a a_o hand_n in_o this_o glorious_a work_n may_v right_o receive_v a_o share_n with_o other_o divine_a person_n of_o our_o acknowledgement_n of_o it_o which_o demonstrate_v that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v god_n for_o otherwise_o we_o shall_v ascribe_v that_o work_n unto_o the_o creature_n which_o be_v above_o the_o power_n of_o its_o nature_n and_o be_v only_o possible_a for_o god_n himself_o second_o scripture_n be_v 1_o cor._n 3.16_o know_v you_o not_o that_o you_o be_v the_o temple_n of_o god_n and_o that_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n dwell_v in_o you_o to_o have_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n dwell_v in_o we_o be_v to_o have_v our_o body_n the_o temple_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n 1_o cor._n 6.19_o and_o the_o temple_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v the_o same_o as_o the_o temple_n and_o description_n of_o he_o so_o that_o i_o see_v no_o way_n to_o escape_v the_o powerful_a convince_a testimony_n of_o this_o truth_n if_o there_o be_v but_o a_o search_n after_o it_o unless_o we_o
