this_o respect_n because_o the_o party_n in_o who_o it_o be_v do_v indeed_o do_v that_o which_o he_o profess_v to_o do_v neither_o do_v speak_v contrary_a to_o his_o secret_a thought_n when_o he_o say_v he_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o yet_o be_v not_o this_o the_o faith_n with_o all_o the_o heart_n here_o speak_v of_o as_o for_o example_n i_o doubt_v not_o but_o a_o papist_n speak_v true_o and_o as_o he_o mean_v when_o he_o say_v he_o believe_v to_o be_v save_v by_o jesus_n christ_n yet_o notwithstanding_o there_o want_v in_o he_o this_o quality_n of_o believe_v with_o all_o his_o heart_n because_o he_o have_v also_o a_o secret_a dependence_n upon_o the_o help_n of_o saint_n upon_o the_o intercession_n of_o the_o virgin_n mary_n upon_o the_o merit_n of_o some_o work_n or_o action_n of_o his_o own_o here_o christ_n have_v not_o all_o his_o heart_n because_o he_o have_v divide_v it_o betwixt_o he_o and_o some_o other_o object_n so_o again_o among_o ourselves_o i_o doubt_v not_o but_o many_o profess_v sooth_o and_o without_o fraud_n in_o avouch_v that_o they_o have_v cast_v all_o their_o hope_n of_o salvation_n only_o upon_o jesus_n christ_n and_o yet_o there_o be_v a_o defect_n in_o there_o faith_n and_o that_o in_o this_o particular_a that_o it_o be_v not_o with_o all_o the_o heart_n because_o their_o heart_n draw_v not_o towards_o christ_n seek_v not_o to_o be_v knit_v to_o christ_n only_o for_o christ_n sake_n and_o because_o of_o that_o worth_n and_o excellency_n which_o be_v conceive_v to_o be_v in_o he_o but_o for_o some_o other_o by-respect_n and_o for_o their_o own_o sake_n for_o let_v i_o make_v this_o know_v unto_o you_o which_o be_v not_o general_o consider_v it_o be_v possible_a for_o a_o reprobate_a to_o go_v thus_o far_o namely_o to_o acknowledge_v there_o be_v no_o salvation_n in_o any_o other_o but_o in_o christ_n to_o disclaim_v all_o hope_n save_v only_o by_o he_o to_o desire_v true_o and_o with_o his_o soul_n to_o have_v a_o part_n in_o he_o and_o to_o account_v himself_o happy_a if_o he_o may_v have_v favour_n with_o god_n through_o he_o thus_o far_o he_o may_v come_v and_o yet_o still_o christ_n have_v not_o all_o his_o heart_n because_o the_o principal_a drift_n and_o aim_n of_o his_o respect_v christ_n be_v his_o own_o salvation_n by_o christ_n why_o will_n some_o man_n say_v what_o shall_v a_o man_n else_o aim_v at_o in_o believe_v upon_o christ_n but_o only_a salvation_n by_o christ_n answer_v i_o deny_v not_o but_o that_o it_o be_v lawful_a to_o love_n christ_n and_o to_o rest_v upon_o christ_n for_o salvation_n sake_n but_o i_o say_v withal_o that_o he_o which_o esteem_v christ_n for_o nothing_o else_o but_o to_o be_v save_v by_o he_o shall_v never_o be_v save_v by_o he_o my_o heart_n be_v to_o myself_o it_o be_v not_o to_o christ_n if_o i_o make_v account_n of_o he_o and_o seek_v to_o he_o only_o for_o my_o benefit_n so_o then_o christ_n be_v believe_v with_o all_o the_o heart_n when_o the_o enjoy_n of_o christ_n be_v the_o scope_n of_o our_o believe_v i_o desire_v not_o to_o enjoy_v christ_n so_o much_o because_o i_o will_v be_v save_v as_o thus_o i_o desire_v to_o be_v save_v that_o i_o may_v enjoy_v christ_n my_o heart_n be_v to_o christ_n as_o to_o the_o main_a to_o my_o own_o salvation_n as_o to_o the_o inferior_a and_o as_o to_o a_o matter_n therefore_o only_o worthy_a the_o desire_v because_o it_o lead_v unto_o christ_n thus_o i_o hope_v we_o now_o see_v 1._o that_o that_o faith_n which_o be_v effectual_a to_o salvation_n be_v only_o that_o which_o be_v a_o believe_v with_o all_o the_o heart_n and_o then_o 2._o that_o that_o be_v a_o believe_v with_o all_o the_o heart_n when_o christ_n who_o be_v the_o object_n of_o faith_n and_o be_v acknowledge_v to_o be_v a_o sole_a and_o complete_a saviour_n be_v labour_v after_o principal_o for_o himself_o my_o heart_n be_v towards_o he_o for_o his_o own_o sake_n more_o than_o for_o my_o own_o salvation_n sake_n i_o know_v i_o can_v not_o depend_v upon_o he_o and_o be_v make_v one_o with_o he_o but_o it_o will_v be_v for_o my_o profit_n yet_o i_o look_v not_o so_o much_o upon_o that_o as_o i_o do_v upon_o he_o yea_o and_o i_o strive_v to_o be_v affect_v as_o job_n to_o continue_v my_o faith_n and_o my_o trust_n to_o he_o though_o he_o shall_v slay_v i_o 13.15_o i_o job._n 13.15_o though_o i_o shall_v not_o only_o not_o get_v good_a by_o he_o but_o receive_v some_o sharpness_n from_o he_o we_o must_v couple_v this_o point_n with_o the_o former_a use_n the_o use_n and_o i_o wish_v we_o may_v well_o digest_v it_o and_o that_o we_o can_v be_v persuade_v to_o bestow_v some_o part_n of_o our_o thought_n upon_o it_o every_o day_n hierony_n ardua_fw-la ras_fw-la est_fw-la fides_fw-la hierony_n it_o upon_o christ_n and_o as_o it_o be_v to_o set_v up_o a_o man_n rest_n on_o this_o that_o no_o man_n can_v come_v unto_o god_n
