will_v not_o use_v the_o lord_n prayer_n so_o as_o to_o utter_v the_o express_a word_n if_o it_o be_v not_o of_o divine_a authority_n but_o because_o it_o be_v of_o divine_a authority_n therefore_o they_o will_n in_o like_a manner_n these_o author_n will_v not_o utter_v those_o word_n which_o usual_o they_o do_v in_o prayer_n beside_o the_o lord_n prayer_n if_o they_o be_v not_o invent_v extempore_o but_o dictate_v by_o another_o or_o by_o themselves_o beforehand_o but_o because_o they_o be_v invent_v extempore_o therefore_o they_o will_n so_o that_o you_o see_v extempore_o invention_n be_v as_o much_o prefer_v before_o divine_a authority_n as_o their_o own_o invent_a prayer_n be_v inferior_a to_o the_o lord_n prayer_n and_o now_o no_o marvel_n though_o man_n stickle_v so_o much_o for_o the_o liberty_n of_o the_o extempore_o vein_n for_o so_o do_v alexander_n for_o divine_a honour_n how_o otherwise_o shall_v they_o be_v deify_v by_o the_o people_n if_o you_o take_v of_o many_o in_o their_o prayer_n proceed_v from_o this_o reason_n be_v evident_a from_o hence_o in_o that_o when_o they_o pray_v before_o other_o they_o will_v weep_v and_o make_v other_o such_o sign_n of_o intention_n and_o fervour_n but_o it_o be_v not_o so_o when_o other_o pray_v before_o they_o i_o have_v now_o mention_v the_o five_o reason_n i_o promise_v which_o may_v probable_o cause_v the_o overplus_n of_o intention_n and_o fervour_n in_o these_o man_n while_o they_o use_v extempore_o prayer_n above_o what_o they_o find_v in_o use_v of_o form_n i_o say_v not_o only_o possible_o but_o probable_o for_o see_v the_o selfsame_a thing_n be_v pray_v for_o in_o the_o litany_n which_o can_v be_v the_o matter_n of_o the_o long_a extempore_o prayer_n though_o not_o in_o that_o novelty_n variety_n and_o elegancy_n of_o phrase_n if_o the_o heat_n and_o intention_n they_o speak_v of_o do_v pure_o proceed_v from_o the_o strength_n of_o their_o desire_n to_o the_o thing_n
