away_o from_o god_n as_o they_o be_v but_o when_o god_n in_o his_o orderly_a proceed_n go_v on_o in_o bring_v the_o soul_n through_o all_o the_o danger_n and_o difficulty_n of_o the_o creature_n and_o self_n then_o do_v he_o not_o suffer_v the_o soul_n to_o have_v what_o it_o will_v have_v nor_o enjoy_v what_o it_o will_v enjoy_v in_o that_o first_o manifestation_n of_o himself_o in_o the_o name_n of_o his_o son_n but_o as_o the_o bodily_a presence_n of_o jesus_n be_v to_o be_v take_v away_o in_o his_o appear_v in_o the_o second_o dispensation_n in_o the_o flesh_n that_o so_o he_o may_v come_v again_o in_o the_o spirit_n or_o ghostly_a baptism_n by_o which_o they_o shall_v still_o be_v lead_v on_o till_o they_o be_v in_o the_o near_a and_o safe_a union_n of_o the_o father_n and_o the_o have_v be_v please_v to_o have_v still_o enjoy_v the_o bodily_a presence_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o first_o appear_v in_o the_o flesh_n so_o will_v a_o soul_n be_v please_v with_o the_o first_o manifestation_n of_o god_n appear_v in_o the_o name_n of_o his_o son_n to_o the_o spirit_n but_o as_o christ_n bodily_a presence_n must_v be_v take_v away_o that_o thereby_o the_o life_n of_o self_n which_o live_v in_o the_o sense_n and_o reason_n of_o his_o disciple_n under_o that_o present_a enjoyment_n may_v become_v destroy_v and_o overthrow_v by_o the_o come_n again_o in_o the_o power_n of_o the_o spirit_n or_o ghostly_a baptism_n so_o it_o be_v that_o the_o first_o appearance_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n in_o the_o first_o appearance_n of_o the_o soul_n must_v be_v hide_v and_o take_v away_o because_o of_o so_o much_o life_n of_o self_n in_o the_o sense_n and_o reason_n and_o that_o by_o a_o further_a and_o more_o clear_a and_o safe_a way_n to_o manifest_v himself_o in_o the_o soul_n and_o that_o be_v by_o the_o pour_v out_o of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n into_o it_o by_o the_o virtue_n of_o which_o the_o soul_n become_v baptize_v into_o the_o suffering_n and_o death_n of_o christ_n whereby_o the_o life_n of_o sense_n and_o reason_n become_v to_o die_v and_o the_o spirit_n bring_v out_o of_o the_o claw_n of_o sin_n death_n devil_n and_o hell_n and_o the_o power_n of_o the_o resurrection_n of_o christ_n become_v to_o be_v know_v and_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n become_v to_o be_v destroy_v by_o the_o powerful_a work_n and_o burn_v of_o this_o ghostly_a baptism_n and_o this_o be_v the_o very_a baptism_n the_o apostle_n paul_n speak_v of_o when_o he_o say_v know_v you_o not_o so_o many_o of_o we_o as_o be_v baptize_v into_o christ_n be_v baptize_v into_o his_o truth_n appear_v but_o it_o be_v no_o marvel_n for_o truth_n always_o find_v many_o enemy_n among_o man_n but_o especial_o among_o priest_n in_o all_o age_n and_o it_o will_v be_v so_o as_o long_o as_o the_o order_n of_o priest_n be_v in_o date_n yet_o i_o confess_v though_o your_o come_n into_o the_o ministry_n be_v absolute_o against_o the_o mind_n and_o command_v of_o god_n as_o be_v the_o first_o order_n of_o king_n in_o israel_n and_o that_o god_n have_v wink_v at_o you_o above_o thirteen_o hundred_o year_n and_o suffer_v you_o to_o come_v into_o the_o ministry_n by_o the_o ordinance_n of_o man_n yet_o as_o god_n own_v some_o of_o the_o king_n in_o israel_n so_o i_o make_v no_o doubt_n but_o that_o god_n have_v own_v some_o among_o you_o but_o yet_o i_o believe_v solomon_n account_n may_v be_v their_o number_n and_o those_o among_o you_o who_o god_n have_v own_v or_o to_o this_o day_n do_v own_o they_o be_v make_v to_o see_v and_o confess_v the_o emptiness_n of_o their_o wit_n and_o scholarship_n in_o the_o understanding_n of_o the_o mind_n and_o will_v of_o god_n and_o find_v their_o art_n learn_v in_o the_o university_n to_o be_v one_o of_o the_o cheat_n and_o a_o foolish_a thing_n to_o make_v a_o right_a minister_n of_o the_o word_n of_o truth_n and_o so_o be_v make_v to_o renounce_v all_o the_o curiosity_n of_o art_n and_o scholarship_n and_o as_o they_o have_v receive_v the_o truth_n from_o the_o fountain_n of_o truth_n so_o be_v they_o make_v to_o speak_v and_o these_o soul_n can_v envy_v any_o man_n in_o who_o the_o truth_n be_v but_o rejoice_v to_o see_v they_o and_o hear_v they_o speak_v and_o account_v they_o as_o the_o minister_n of_o god_n though_o they_o be_v never_o put_v to_o the_o holy_a university_n for_o the_o same_o spirit_n proceed_v from_o the_o same_o fountain_n make_v no_o difference_n and_o these_o man_n account_v it_o their_o joy_n to_o be_v in_o the_o society_n of_o people_n who_o be_v experience_v and_o they_o seek_v no_o lordship_n over_o the_o people_n nor_o be_v they_o so_o hungry_a heart_v after_o tithe_n and_o great_a benefice_n but_o can_v rather_o condescend_v to_o work_v with_o their_o own_o hand_n for_o their_o bread_n but_o i_o believe_v you_o have_v not_o many_o of_o these_o among_o you_o for_o the_o curse_n have_v cover_v the_o face_n of_o the_o most_o of_o you_o in_o your_o generation_n under_o which_o you_o be_v close_o seal_v from_o the_o right_a knowledge_n of_o truth_n and_o can_v no_o more_o believe_v your_o deceit_n than_o the_o apostle_n paul_n before_o his_o conversion_n but_o seldom_o do_v god_n execute_v justice_n upon_o any_o people_n before_o he_o give_v they_o warning_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o after_o that_o a_o time_n to_o repent_v but_o who_o be_v it_o that_o dare_v bring_v such_o a_o message_n from_o the_o lord_n as_o shall_v declare_v the_o iniquity_n of_o the_o priest_n and_o give_v they_o warning_n to_o repent_v and_o forsake_v their_o bring_v such_o a_o sad_a message_n to_o they_o expect_v to_o be_v envy_v and_o evil_o speak_v of_o yea_o and_o persecute_v to_o death_n i_o know_v the_o man_n that_o shall_v be_v send_v with_o this_o message_n can_v escape_v no_o more_o shall_v i_o for_o when_o first_o the_o lord_n put_v this_o into_o my_o heart_n the_o which_o my_o pen_n have_v put_v down_o in_o these_o line_n i_o be_v very_o unwilling_a to_o yield_v obedience_n thereunto_o because_o my_o reason_n set_v before_o my_o eye_n the_o great_a hazard_n i_o shall_v run_v if_o i_o shall_v meddle_v in_o any_o such_o thing_n but_o to_o bear_v all_o that_o any_o of_o you_o shall_v either_o inflict_v upon_o my_o name_n or_o person_n and_o though_o you_o shall_v hate_v i_o yet_o i_o can_v choose_v but_o love_v you_o as_o you_o with_o the_o great_a mystery_n of_o sin_n and_o selfness_n in_o you_o and_o out_o of_o the_o true_a knowledge_n and_o right_a sense_n thereof_o that_o you_o may_v be_v make_v fit_a to_o discover_v the_o mystery_n of_o sin_n and_o selfness_n in_o all_o other_o and_o that_o you_o may_v be_v right_o make_v partaker_n of_o the_o mystery_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n that_o from_o the_o enjoyment_n thereof_o you_o may_v be_v make_v able_a to_o know_v and_o comprehend_v with_o all_o saint_n what_o be_v the_o height_n and_o depth_n etc._n etc._n and_o to_o know_v the_o fellowship_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n which_o pass_v knowledge_n that_o so_o you_o may_v be_v able_a to_o hold_v out_o to_o other_o the_o mystery_n therein_o contain_v and_o then_o shall_v you_o be_v acquaint_v with_o resurrection_n of_o the_o dead_a phil._n 3.10_o 11_o etc._n etc._n this_o be_v the_o mark_n he_o aim_v at_o to_o which_o he_o walk_v by_o the_o rule_n of_o the_o suffering_n and_o example_n of_o christ_n and_o in_o obedience_n to_o his_o command_n which_o most_o be_v for_o self_n denial_n he_o press_v hard_o after_o he_o in_o the_o way_n of_o his_o suffering_n that_o so_o nothing_o that_o be_v of_o self_n may_v live_v in_o he_o yea_o when_o he_o find_v that_o self_n get_v life_n and_o food_n by_o way_n of_o consolation_n than_o be_v
dwell_v the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o such_o and_o in_o the_o have_v of_o these_o thing_n do_v they_o not_o puff_n up_o the_o person_n that_o have_v they_o above_o their_o fellow_n creature_n and_o so_o respect_v person_n and_o account_v much_o of_o such_o as_o themselves_o and_o despise_v those_o who_o be_v inferior_a to_o they_o jam._n 2.3_o be_v not_o this_o a_o shame_n and_o yet_o how_o earthly_a thing_n for_o where_o there_o be_v any_o god_n but_o the_o true_a god_n either_o in_o possession_n or_o in_o desire_n the_o mind_n will_v be_v constant_o carry_v out_o about_o that_o which_o will_v please_v their_o god_n and_o two_o god_n no_o man_n can_v serve_v for_o he_o will_v love_v the_o one_o and_o hate_v the_o other_o mat._n 6.24_o and_o those_o who_o will_v own_o the_o true_a god_n for_o their_o god_n be_v not_o to_o have_v their_o mind_n set_v or_o carry_v out_o to_o seek_v any_o thing_n below_o he_o no_o not_o so_o much_o as_o to_o have_v a_o thought_n of_o what_o can_v but_o get_v incorporate_v into_o their_o congregation_n but_o weigh_v what_o be_v hint_v at_o before_o and_o see_v who_o be_v the_o enemy_n of_o the_o cross_n and_o i_o believe_v you_o shall_v find_v no_o want_n of_o such_o in_o your_o congregation_n and_o indeed_o i_o do_v not_o marvel_n that_o the_o cross_n have_v so_o many_o enemy_n see_v the_o virtue_n of_o it_o will_v take_v away_o sin_n and_o destroy_v self_n and_o man_n love_v self_n so_o well_o they_o can_v abide_v to_o go_v to_o heaven_n without_o it_o and_o this_o new-found_a way_n lead_v to_o heaven_n another_o way_n in_o cross_n or_o not_o &_o do_v not_o so_o much_o pretend_v christ_n and_o talk_v of_o christ_n with_o your_o tongue_n and_o yet_o be_v enemy_n to_o his_o cross_n in_o your_o heart_n i_o know_v what_o i_o of_o your_o ignorance_n be_v by_o reason_n of_o many_o of_o your_o minister_n for_o i_o know_v you_o have_v abundance_n of_o they_o who_o be_v of_o the_o false-hearted_a crew_n who_o through_o cunning_a of_o their_o wit_n have_v play_v the_o juggler_n and_o see_v your_o order_n come_v into_o request_n and_o like_a to_o carry_v the_o sway_n in_o these_o time_n and_o fear_v to_o be_v loser_n by_o such_o alteration_n through_o their_o cunning_n have_v transform_v themselves_o into_o another_o shape_n and_o so_o have_v creep_v in_o among_o you_o and_o though_o they_o seem_v to_o be_v something_o yet_o they_o be_v but_o the_o same_o they_o be_v before_o in_o their_o heart_n and_o i_o know_v they_o have_v power_n by_o the_o great_a hand_n of_o their_o god_n who_o first_o make_v they_o minister_n to_o metamorphize_v themselves_o into_o any_o likeness_n but_o beware_v of_o they_o for_o they_o will_v keep_v you_o still_o in_o ignorance_n and_o by_o dissemble_a deceive_v you_o for_o they_o be_v many_o of_o they_o the_o enemy_n of_o the_o cross_n of_o christ_n yea_o and_o have_v wrest_v the_o mind_n of_o god_n in_o the_o scripture_n contrary_a to_o what_o he_o aim_v it_o presence_n must_v be_v out_o of_o the_o way_n that_o his_o ghostly_a presence_n may_v appear_v in_o the_o divine_a nature_n in_o which_o and_o by_o which_o he_o will_v become_v the_o baptiser_n of_o soul_n with_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o with_o fire_n by_o which_o baptism_n he_o will_v burn_v up_o and_o consume_v all_o the_o old_a rubbish_n and_o relic_n of_o sin_n and_o self_n both_o in_o sense_n and_o reason_n and_o bring_v the_o spirit_n out_o of_o and_o from_o the_o captivity_n of_o the_o same_o and_o while_o christ_n be_v in_o the_o flesh_n he_o show_v they_o a_o example_n of_o life_n which_o he_o will_v have_v those_o that_o will_v be_v his_o disciple_n to_o follow_v and_o likewise_o he_o tell_v they_o how_o great_a thing_n his_o follower_n be_v to_o suffer_v under_o the_o ghostly_a baptism_n and_o so_o he_o leave_v they_o the_o example_n of_o his_o own_o suffering_n and_o death_n also_o the_o which_o they_o shall_v have_v as_o a_o rule_n to_o walk_v by_o until_o the_o etc._n and_o so_o it_o be_v to_o this_o present_a day_n that_o those_o soul_n who_o god_n draw_v into_o a_o near_a union_n of_o himself_o he_o draw_v they_o out_o of_o the_o first_o and_o second_o outletting_a of_o himself_o in_o the_o first_o and_o second_o dispensation_n and_o so_o bring_v they_o into_o the_o three_o dispensation_n or_o ghostly_a baptism_n in_o which_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n and_o selfness_n become_v find_v out_o and_o forsake_v for_o while_o the_o first_o and_o second_o dispensation_n be_v in_o force_n the_o body_n of_o sin_n be_v not_o so_o clear_o find_v out_o nor_o
