consequence_n for_o the_o pharisee_n be_v neither_o convert_v nor_o yet_o in_o the_o state_n of_o a_o little_a child_n when_o christ_n say_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n be_v within_o you_o luke_n 17.21_o for_o it_o may_v be_v in_o man_n though_o but_o as_o a_o grain_n of_o mustard_n seed_n when_o they_o be_v not_o in_o it_o bapt._n though_o christ_n be_v in_o his_o saint_n he_o be_v not_o sufficiency_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o light_n to_o guide_v oppose_v and_o deny_v without_o the_o scripture_n by_o this_o our_o opposer_n as_o if_o the_o scripture_n must_v needs_o help_v christ_n know_v the_o right_a use_n of_o the_o scripture_n which_o we_o do_v own_o in_o prefer_v the_o spirit_n and_o own_v its_o guidance_n to_o lead_v into_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n in_o spiritual_a and_o be_v not_o that_o the_o heaven_n of_o heaven_n or_o the_o chief_a heaven_n which_o be_v most_o near_o to_o god_n most_o spiritual_a but_o unto_o who_o shall_v i_o speak_v wisdom_n that_o christ_n take_v upon_o he_o christ_n which_o be_v to_o make_v two_o christ_n whereas_o every_o spirit_n that_o confess_v not_o that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v come_v in_o the_o flesh_n be_v not_o of_o god_n but_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o antichrist_n 1_o joh._n 4._o it_o be_v not_o jesus_n christ_n come_v in_o jesus_n christ._n thus_o you_o make_v yourselves_o ridiculous_a by_o carp_n at_o the_o truth_n and_o caval_v against_o christ_n light_n which_o the_o quaker_n own_o and_o as_o to_o our_o lay_v the_o stress_n of_o salvation_n upon_o our_o obedience_n to_o the_o light_n within_o confess_v the_o come_n of_o christ_n be_v in_o the_o cloud_n and_o be_v as_o the_o lightning_n though_o he_o be_v yet_o cloud_v from_o many_o as_o the_o cloud_n at_o his_o ascension_n receive_v he_o out_o of_o their_o sight_n who_o stand_v gaze_v so_o all_o the_o gazer_n abroad_o from_o the_o light_n within_o may_v read_v their_o figure_n even_o the_o cloud_n but_o steven_n when_o he_o be_v full_a of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n see_v heaven_n open_a and_o the_o son_n of_o man_n on_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o god_n this_o holy_a ghost_n be_v the_o ground_n of_o his_o so_o see_v the_o son_n of_o man_n sure_o he_o do_v not_o see_v god_n nor_o his_o right_a hand_n with_o carnal_a eye_n and_o christ_n say_v there_o be_v those_o that_o stand_v by_o that_o shall_v not_o taste_v of_o death_n make_v the_o child_n of_o the_o light_n so_o that_o they_o have_v the_o light_n before_o they_o be_v bear_v of_o it_o and_o it_o shine_v in_o their_o heart_n but_o and_o if_o not_o any_o unregenerate_a man_n have_v any_o thing_n in_o he_o that_o be_v save_v by_o this_o not_o any_o of_o god_n child_n till_o they_o be_v his_o child_n have_v the_o light_n in_o they_o how_o come_v they_o then_o to_o be_v convince_v and_o beget_v to_o god_n where_o be_v the_o light_n in_o the_o order_n of_o god_n work_n in_o the_o soul_n before_o it_o be_v effect_v if_o not_o at_o work_n in_o they_o but_o to_o his_o own_o contradiction_n p._n 8._o he_o confess_v that_o the_o law_n be_v accompany_v with_o the_o spirit_n in_o that_o regenerate_a work_n then_o it_o be_v in_o man_n and_o as_o to_o that_o story_n and_o accusation_n against_o ja._n naylor_n we_o never_o understand_v that_o he_o profess_v himself_o to_o be_v christ_n neither_o in_o his_o examination_n before_o the_o magistrate_n nor_o before_o but_o that_o christ_n be_v in_o he_o so_o that_o he_o in_o the_o story_n be_v wrong_v therein_o which_o savour_v of_o mere_a malice_n and_o envy_n in_o this_o baptist_n to_o render_v we_o odious_a and_o obnoxious_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o our_o enemy_n howbeit_o wherein_o j._n n_n weakness_n be_v either_o in_o suffering_n or_o not_o reprove_v the_o madness_n of_o those_o that_o ask_v if_o spirit_n be_v not_o the_o essence_n of_o that_o which_o be_v spiritual_a and_o if_o christ_n in_o his_o people_n be_v the_o holy_a spirit_n in_o they_o do_v not_o this_o contradict_v much_o of_o his_o book_n against_o we_o for_o be_v not_o he_o often_o deny_v to_o be_v christ_n as_o he_o be_v the_o spirit_n the_o word_n the_o anoint_v etc._n etc._n by_o such_o of_o you_o that_o know_v he_o not_o but_o will_v exclude_v he_o out_o of_o his_o people_n at_o a_o great_a distance_n you_o know_v not_o where_o and_o as_o touch_v those_o that_o be_v sensual_a have_v not_o the_o spirit_n from_o which_o he_o seem_v to_o argue_v against_o we_o such_o be_v say_v to_o turn_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n into_o wantonness_n deny_v the_o only_a lord_n god_n and_o such_o act_v despite_n against_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n and_o therefore_o their_o mind_n be_v turn_v from_o the_o light_n and_o spirit_n which_o at_o sometime_o appear_v in_o they_o to_o convince_v they_o or_o else_o how_o can_v they_o thus_o abuse_v and_o despise_v the_o grace_n and_o spirit_n of_o it_o if_o it_o be_v never_o in_o they_o they_o be_v say_v not_o to_o have_v the_o spirit_n when_o they_o live_v the_o truth_n of_o our_o principle_n touch_v the_o light_n within_o be_v evident_o verify_v and_o prove_v both_o from_o the_o scripture_n of_o truth_n as_o also_o from_o our_o adversary_n own_o confession_n therefore_o the_o rest_n of_o our_o principle_n which_o depend_v upon_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v true_a the_o light_n of_o christ_n within_o be_v the_o fundamental_a or_o most_o bind_a
