then_o of_o the_o unjust_a yet_o this_o we_o grant_v that_o the_o order_n of_o expression_n do_v not_o always_o signify_v a_o order_n of_o time_n in_o the_o come_n forth_o of_o the_o thing_n express_v or_o a_o distance_n of_o time_n between_o the_o come_n forth_o of_o they_o but_o where_o the_o same_o order_n be_v always_o observe_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n speak_v of_o the_o same_o thing_n it_o kingdom_n of_o god_n yet_o that_o we_o may_v not_o apprehend_v any_o such_o thing_n intimate_v in_o the_o order_n of_o expression_n there_o or_o in_o the_o distinct_a manner_n of_o mention_v the_o water_n and_o the_o spirit_n as_o a_o double_a or_o two_o fold_n birth_n 1_o of_o water_n 2_o of_o the_o spirit_n or_o a_o several_a and_o divide_v come_v forth_o of_o those_o principle_n for_o effect_v the_o new_a birth_n first_o of_o the_o water_n by_o itself_o second_o of_o the_o spirit_n by_o itself_o therefore_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v not_o always_o observe_v the_o same_o order_n when_o speak_v of_o the_o same_o thing_n yea_o our_o saviour_n change_v that_o order_n in_o his_o explication_n of_o that_o doctrine_n and_o therein_o of_o those_o principle_n of_o regeneration_n

both_o the_o ground_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v send_v to_o lift_v he_o up_o and_o also_o be_v itself_o commend_v display_v and_o shed_v abroad_o in_o such_o lift_v he_o up_o as_o verse_n 17._o with_o for_o regenerate_v man_n as_o tit._n 3._o 3_o 4_o 5_o 6._o which_o that_o we_o may_v understand_v our_o saviour_n observe_v not_o the_o same_o order_n of_o expression_n in_o the_o first_o declaration_n and_o follow_v explication_n and_o after_o by_o his_o apostle_n mention_n they_o as_o joint_o come_v forth_o together_o yea_o in_o the_o 1_o joh._n 5._o 8._o express_o mention_n the_o spirit_n first_o and_o then_o the_o water_n and_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n through_o which_o the_o water_n be_v shed_v abroad_o by_o the_o spirit_n open_v and_o sprinkle_v it_o and_o so_o mention_n they_o as_o all_o agree_n in_o one_o and_o come_v forth_o joint_o and_o together_o other_o instance_n of_o like_a nature_n may_v be_v give_v but_o as_o we_o have_v say_v when_o the_o same_o order_n
