in_o we_o he_o fetch_v reason_n out_o of_o every_o particular_a reason_n that_o we_o do_v as_o we_o to_o persuade_v so_o he_o to_o dissuade_v the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o first_o as_o those_o let_n which_o yet_o can_v not_o let_v the_o performance_n of_o his_o promise_n they_o will_v be_v little_a or_o none_o at_o all_o why_o shall_v that_o god_n that_o never_o be_v find_v to_o the_o second_o what_o he_o speak_v concern_v the_o first_o know_v for_o a_o certain_a that_o whensoever_o thou_o receive_v any_o answer_n in_o thy_o conscience_n contrary_a to_o that_o which_o be_v promise_v or_o speak_v in_o the_o word_n contrary_a to_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o thy_o sin_n to_o the_o receive_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o adoption_n to_o the_o increase_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n to_o the_o attain_n of_o the_o inheritance_n of_o the_o saint_n in_o light_n or_o the_o possession_n of_o eternal_a life_n or_o any_o such_o like_a that_o then_o the_o devil_n tempt_v thou_o and_o speak_v that_o word_n and_o make_v that_o answer_n in_o thy_o soul_n for_o this_o persuasion_n and_o this_o answer_n and_o this_o word_n that_o the_o lord_n will_v not_o forgive_v thy_o sin_n or_o give_v thou_o his_o spirit_n or_o eternal_a life_n &_o salvation_n come_v not_o from_o god_n for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n say_v the_o clean_a contrary_n and_o we_o know_v that_o the_o lord_n speak_v not_o one_o thing_n in_o his_o word_n and_o another_o thing_n in_o thy_o conscience_n one_o thing_n in_o his_o scripture_n &_o another_o thing_n in_o thy_o soul_n learn_v therefore_o this_o for_o a_o true_a and_o a_o infallible_a precept_n that_o whensoever_o thou_o receive_v a_o answer_n in_o thyself_o contrary_a to_o that_o which_o the_o lord_n have_v promise_v that_o then_o the_o devil_n speak_v &_o this_o thou_o must_v know_v to_o be_v true_a although_o the_o persuasion_n come_v from_o thy_o own_o concupiscence_n &_o corrupt_a nature_n for_o the_o apostle_n call_v the_o prick_n of_o the_o flesh_n which_o be_v the_o motion_n and_o work_v of_o original_a sin_n the_o messenger_n of_o satan_n 2._o cor._n 12._o this_o then_o be_v the_o first_o precept_n by_o which_o thou_o may_v know_v when_o he_o speak_v the_o second_o rule_n which_o must_v make_v thou_o understand_v his_o word_n must_v make_v thou_o first_o understand_v his_o nature_n which_o be_v to_o lie_v for_o it_o be_v natural_a for_o the_o devil_n to_o lie_v for_o he_o be_v natural_o a_o liar_n as_o appear_v both_o by_o the_o testimony_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o eight_o of_o john_n wheâ—e_v he_o say_v the_o devil_n be_v a_o murderer_n from_o the_o beginning_n and_o abide_v not_o in_o the_o truth_n there_o be_v no_o truth_n in_o he_o as_o oftentimes_o as_o he_o speak_v a_o lie_n he_o speak_v of_o his_o own_o because_o he_o be_v a_o liar_n and_o the_o father_n of_o a_o lie_n and_o also_o by_o the_o practice_n of_o the_o devil_n himself_o who_o both_o lie_v to_o our_o mother_n eve_n say_v that_o if_o she_o do_v eat_v of_o the_o tree_n of_o the_o knowledge_n of_o good_a and_o evil_a that_o she_o shall_v be_v like_a unto_o the_o god_n in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o good_a and_o evil_a and_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o die_v and_o also_o be_v a_o lie_a spirit_n in_o the_o mouth_n of_o the_o prophet_n of_o achab_n and_o so_o deceive_v achab_n and_o his_o prophet_n out_o of_o this_o knowledge_n of_o the_o devil_n lie_v nature_n thou_o shall_v present_o pick_v the_o meaning_n of_o his_o speech_n and_o
