it_o be_v to_o pray_v who_o be_v not_o exercise_v in_o supplication_n for_o mortify_v change_a and_o renew_v of_o these_o affection_n as_o spiritual_o irregular_a and_o yet_o be_v it_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n alone_o which_o discover_v these_o thing_n unto_o we_o and_o give_v we_o a_o sense_n of_o our_o concernment_n in_o they_o i_o say_v the_o spiritual_a irregularity_n of_o our_o affection_n all_o these_o place_n and_o other_o testify_v that_o when_o sinner_n do_v engage_v into_o serious_a thought_n and_o conception_n of_o the_o nature_n of_o god_n and_o what_o entertainment_n they_o shall_v meet_v with_o from_o he_o all_o their_o apprehension_n issue_v in_o dread_a and_o terror_n this_o be_v not_o a_o frame_n wherein_o they_o can_v cry_v abba_n father_n if_o they_o be_v deliver_v name_n in_o vain_a nor_o however_o they_o satisfy_v themselves_o in_o what_o they_o do_v have_v they_o any_o delight_n in_o god_n in_o their_o approach_n unto_o he_o wherefore_o there_o be_v require_v hereunto_o a_o prospect_n of_o god_n by_o faith_n as_o on_o a_o throne_n of_o grace_n as_o exalt_v in_o christ_n to_o show_v mercy_n unto_o sinner_n so_o be_v he_o represent_v isa._n 30._o 18._o have_v any_o acquaintance_n with_o our_o interest_n in_o that_o privilege_n some_o may_v apprehend_v that_o these_o thing_n belong_v but_o little_a and_o that_o very_o remote_o unto_o the_o duty_n of_o prayer_n and_o the_o assistance_n we_o receive_v by_o the_o spirit_n therein_o but_o the_o truth_n be_v those_o who_o be_v so_o mind_v on_o consideration_n know_v neither_o what_o it_o be_v to_o pray_v nor_o what_o do_v belong_v thereunto_o there_o be_v nothing_o more_o essential_a unto_o this_o duty_n than_o that_o in_o the_o performance_n of_o it_o we_o address_v ourselves_o unto_o god_n under_o the_o notion_n of_o a_o father_n that_o be_v the_o father_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o in_o he_o our_o father_n also_o without_o this_o we_o can_v have_v that_o holy_a delight_n in_o this_o duty_n which_o be_v require_v in_o we_o and_o the_o want_n whereof_o ordinary_o ruin_v our_o design_n in_o it_o and_o this_o we_o can_v have_v no_o spiritual_a satisfactory_a sense_n of_o
