say_v to_o have_v rejoice_v for_o a_o time_n in_o the_o light_n of_o john_n baptist_n and_o to_o the_o hebr._n justify_n how_o the_o historical_a and_o temporary_a say_v differ_v one_o from_o another_o and_o both_o from_o the_o justify_n there_o be_v attribute_v to_o this_o faith_n not_o only_o the_o enlighten_v of_o the_o mind_n but_o also_o the_o taste_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o that_o perform_v not_o only_o by_o the_o word_n but_o also_o by_o the_o spirit_n for_o he_o say_v they_o which_o have_v be_v make_v partaker_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n therefore_o in_o temporary_a faith_n there_o be_v indeed_o a_o kind_n of_o apprehension_n there_o be_v indeed_o a_o certain_a joy_n wherein_o temperarie_a faith_n differ_v from_o historical_a faith_n for_o in_o historical_a faith_n steadfastness_n of_o your_o faith_n the_o difference_n between_o a_o temporary_a faith_n and_o true_a justify_n faith_n faith_n in_o christ_n for_o justify_v faith_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o solid_a body_n consist_v of_o three_o dimension_n length_n breadth_n depth_n for_o it_o possess_v the_o depth_n and_o low_a of_o the_o heart_n but_o temporary_a faith_n be_v not_o a_o body_n with_o three_o but_o as_o it_o be_v with_o the_o tip_n of_o the_o tongue_n light_o taste_v those_o heavenly_a thing_n and_o not_o quite_o drink_v they_o up_o and_o receive_v they_o into_o itself_o again_o out_o of_o this_o that_o temporary_a faith_n be_v not_o sound_a another_o thing_n also_o follow_v namely_o that_o it_o do_v not_o endure_v for_o ever_o but_o only_o for_o a_o time_n for_o that_o which_o be_v not_o sound_a be_v not_o durable_a and_o perpetual_a but_o only_o temporary_a wherein_o also_o it_o differ_v from_o justify_v faith_n which_o as_o it_o be_v sound_a so_o it_o be_v perpetual_a and_o constant_a from_o this_o property_n this_o faith_n take_v her_o name_n and_o be_v call_v temporary_a now_o this_o property_n do_v presuppose_v the_o two_o other_o go_v before_o namely_o first_o that_o it_o be_v not_o sound_o second_o that_o it_o be_v not_o sincere_a albeit_o it_o be_v in_o some_o sort_n true_a while_o i_o consider_v somewhat_o more_o diligent_o of_o the_o cause_n of_o these_o faith_n as_o hope_v be_v of_o proper_a grace_n and_o mercy_n they_o say_v with_o we_o that_o the_o subject_n of_o hope_n be_v the_o heart_n for_o they_o teach_v that_o hope_n be_v a_o virtue_n put_v promise_n of_o god_n only_o and_o the_o infallible_a truth_n thereof_o second_o a_o man_n be_v say_v to_o be_v certain_a of_o his_o salvation_n in_o respect_n of_o charity_n which_o they_o say_v be_v the_o form_n of_o faith_n for_o he_o that_o have_v charity_n be_v in_o this_o part_n and_o in_o this_o respect_n certain_a of_o his_o salvation_n for_o charity_n be_v a_o sure_a cause_n of_o salvation_n and_o if_o it_o can_v be_v that_o a_o man_n may_v never_o fall_v from_o charity_n even_o for_o that_o cause_n alone_o he_o may_v be_v simple_o &_o absolute_o certain_a of_o his_o salvation_n but_o see_v any_o man_n may_v fall_v from_o charity_n and_o lose_v it_o therefore_o there_o be_v no_o absolute_a certainty_n of_o hope_n in_o respect_n of_o charity_n neither_o this_o be_v then_o their_o opinion_n that_o hope_n be_v likewise_o uncertain_a but_o yet_o that_o it_o be_v certain_a in_o some_o respect_n first_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o promise_n then_o in_o respect_n of_o charity_n and_o therefore_o that_o the_o certainty_n of_o hope_n be_v always_o mix_v with_o uncertainty_n for_o what_o time_n it_o be_v certain_a because_o of_o of_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n at_o the_o same_o time_n it_o be_v uncertain_a for_o other_o cause_n which_o be_v in_o ourselves_o as_o in_o regard_n of_o our_o repentance_n in_o respect_n of_o our_o work_n and_o merit_n which_o be_v also_o require_v to_o make_v hope_n certain_a again_o what_o time_n it_o be_v certain_a because_o of_o charity_n at_o the_o same_o time_n it_o be_v uncertain_a because_o of_o the_o changeablenesse_n of_o charity_n this_o be_v their_o opinion_n but_o we_o hold_v thus_o that_o hope_n be_v call_v certain_a because_o of_o faith_n go_v afore_o it_o &_o for_o the_o full_a assurance_n hope_n certainty_n of_o hope_n of_o that_o faith_n for_o certainty_n do_v proper_o belong_v to_o faith_n and_o it_o be_v faith_n whereby_o every_o one_o of_o we_o do_v certain_o know_v that_o salvation_n belong_v unto_o we_o hence_o come_v the_o sureness_n of_o hope_n and_o the_o certainty_n thereof_o second_o we_o say_v that_o this_o certainty_n of_o hope_n which_o be_v for_o faith_n sake_n be_v simple_a and_o absolute_a and_o we_o deny_v that_o hope_n be_v in_o one_o respect_n certain_a and_o in_o another_o respect_n uncertain_a which_o thing_n they_o affirm_v but_o we_o affirm_v that_o it_o be_v certain_a in_o all_o respect_n at_o least_o that_o it_o so_o ought_v to_o be_v in_o respect_n of_o god_n promise_n in_o respect_n of_o charity_n and_o of_o our_o whole_a regeneration_n in_o respect_n of_o our_o perseverance_n and_o so_o of_o the_o rest_n for_o all_o these_o thing_n be_v certain_a and_o sound_a upon_o which_o hope_n depend_v and_o for_o which_o it_o be_v say_v to_o be_v certain_a &_o these_o thing_n do_v depend_v upon_o god_n unchangeableness_n whether_o they_o be_v out_o of_o we_o as_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n or_o within_o we_o as_o charity_n and_o all_o regeneration_n for_o grace_v once_o give_v in_o christ_n jesus_n can_v never_o be_v total_o and_o final_o lose_v our_o adversary_n do_v place_n some_o cause_n of_o certainty_n in_o ourselves_o and_o in_o our_o strength_n and_o in_o our_o work_n and_o merit_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v no_o marvel_n though_o
