the_o lord_n send_v both_o prosperity_n and_o adversity_n aswell_o to_o the_o wicked_a as_o to_o the_o godly_a next_o the_o king_n know_v that_o albeit_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o righteous_a be_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n so_o that_o none_o evil_a may_v touch_v they_o yet_o such_o be_v the_o corrupt_a judgement_n of_o flesh_n and_o blood_n ignorant_a of_o god_n and_o of_o his_o way_n hate_v death_n which_o daily_o draw_v on_o they_o all_o man_n be_v deprive_v of_o all_o sense_n work_n and_o labour_n of_o this_o life_n to_o do_v thencefoorth_o therein_o either_o good_a or_o evil_n for_o or_o put_v off_o from_o day_n to_o day_n to_o do_v &_o perform_v that_o which_o be_v require_v of_o he_o lest_o he_o be_v sudden_o take_v away_o and_o perish_v nor_o can_v at_o any_o time_n much_o as_o one_o little_a shell_n wherewith_o he_o may_v draw_v a_o very_a small_a measure_n of_o the_o water_n of_o life_n it_o be_v not_o one_o and_o the_o same_o thing_n to_o turn_v from_o the_o lord_n and_o to_o turn_v utter_o awry_o from_o he_o without_o retire_n or_o return_v the_o former_a of_o these_o fault_n be_v often_o see_v in_o god_n own_o child_n when_o like_o prodigal_a and_o 2_o argument_n against_o man_n vanity_n the_o first_o whereof_o be_v take_v from_o the_o condition_n of_o man_n in_o this_o life_n in_o the_o which_o howsoever_o he_o search_v he_o find_v nought_o delight_n as_o be_v thorough_o ponder_v with_o wickedness_n and_o many_o lewd_a lust_n that_o often_o overwhelm_v man_n in_o perdition_n therefore_o all_o man_n be_v to_o beware_v the_o rather_o by_o the_o king_n example_n how_o they_o follow_v after_o their_o own_o lust_n in_o the_o way_n of_o their_o sinful_a affection_n and_o their_o be_v to_o respect_v this_o that_o the_o thought_n of_o or_o howsever_v this_o kind_n of_o pleasure_n have_v be_v use_v and_o delight_v in_o among_o worldly_a man_n yea_o howsoever_o many_o wise_a man_n have_v be_v see_v to_o solace_v themselves_o first_o of_o those_o three_o fault_n which_o provoke_v the_o lord_n to_o displeasure_n the_o consideration_n whereof_o now_o move_v the_o king_n to_o this_o heaviness_n of_o mind_n but_o yet_o the_o second_o fault_n exceed_v this_o in_o degree_n to_o aggravate_v the_o sorrow_n and_o pain_n he_o to_o the_o heart_n these_o word_n be_v speak_v and_o in_o such_o sort_n as_o zadok_n can_v deliver_v
