themselves_o to_o he_o the_o four_o be_v a_o use_n of_o comfort_n to_o the_o saint_n in_o general_n the_o first_o use_n be_v of_o examination_n to_o search_v our_o heart_n and_o soul_n thorough_o whether_o we_o have_v christ_n or_o no_o and_o in_o the_o do_n of_o this_o beware_v that_o you_o do_v not_o look_v on_o those_o evangelical_n mark_v and_o sign_n in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n as_o notion_n but_o bring_v thy_o heart_n to_o the_o word_n and_o see_v what_o thy_o portion_n be_v there_o and_o what_o thy_o fruit_n appear_v to_o be_v and_o what_o condition_n soever_o thou_o find_v thyself_o in_o deal_v plain_o with_o thyself_o if_o thou_o find_v thyself_o yet_o in_o a_o state_n of_o nature_n then_o think_v it_o thy_o duty_n to_o confess_v it_o and_o do_v not_o deny_v it_o because_o it_o be_v a_o sad_a condition_n but_o own_o it_o and_o take_v those_o course_n to_o come_v out_o of_o it_o that_o thou_o find_v hereafter_o mention_v 2._o consider_v the_o equity_n of_o have_v nothing_o to_o do_v with_o christ_n thou_o have_v no_o fellowship_n with_o he_o neither_o waist_n thou_o any_o way_n take_v with_o the_o command_v of_o god_n as_o to_o see_v any_o loveliness_n in_o they_o every_o soul_n in_o the_o world_n in_o this_o estate_n be_v alienate_v from_o god_n and_o as_o adam_n hide_v himself_o from_o god_n for_o fear_n of_o his_o sin_n so_o do_v all_o poor_a creature_n run_v from_o god_n for_o fear_n of_o punishment_n and_o as_o they_o be_v by_o nature_n they_o never_o desire_v to_o have_v to_o do_v with_o god_n the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n lie_v hard_a on_o every_o unregenerate_a soul_n and_o that_o make_v he_o a_o stranger_n both_o to_o god_n and_o his_o way_n and_o therefore_o now_o let_v we_o search_v into_o our_o soul_n and_o try_v if_o our_o condition_n be_v not_o such_o a_o one_o as_o this_o be_v 2._o let_v we_o consider_v what_o the_o work_n of_o conversion_n be_v and_o we_o shall_v find_v it_o to_o be_v a_o change_n of_o this_o assist_v we_o to_o do_v that_o which_o be_v direct_v to_o we_o 6._o by_o a_o full_a evidence_n of_o his_o spirit_n that_o we_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n first_o the_o lord_n illuminate_v the_o soul_n the_o poor_a soul_n be_v in_o darkness_n and_o know_v no_o way_n to_o come_v out_o the_o lord_n enlighten_v he_o and_o bring_v he_o to_o see_v his_o miserable_a estate_n john_n 1._o 5._o the_o lord_n show_v the_o soul_n the_o filthiness_n of_o sin_n and_o his_o lose_a and_o undo_v condition_n that_o he_o be_v in_o by_o nature_n and_o his_o great_a need_n of_o christ_n make_v he_o to_o long_o for_o his_o assurance_n of_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n more_o than_o ever_o he_o do_v for_o any_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n and_o now_o be_v enlighten_v all_o thing_n to_o he_o be_v as_o bad_a as_o may_v be_v sin_n be_v exceed_o sinful_a to_o he_o and_o he_o see_v himself_o load_v with_o it_o and_o therefore_o he_o be_v like_o those_o in_o the_o act_n who_o be_v so_o enlighten_v man_n and_o brethren_n what_o shall_v we_o do_v to_o be_v save_v act_n 2._o 37._o 2._o the_o lord_n work_v by_o inspiration_n carry_v on_o the_o soul_n to_o action_n of_o life_n make_v he_o fit_a for_o condition_n 2._o again_o to_o live_v by_o faith_n be_v to_o live_v by_o something_o without_o ourselves_o it_o be_v to_o see_v all_o in_o christ_n and_o nothing_o in_o ourselves_o it_o be_v to_o look_v on_o our_o own_o righteousness_n as_o dung_n and_o whole_o to_o submit_v to_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n as_o you_o also_o may_v see_v in_o phil._n 3_o 8_o 9_o 10._o 3._o to_o live_v by_o faith_n be_v to_o rest_v satisfy_v in_o every_o dispensation_n of_o god_n that_o all_o be_v for_o the_o best_a to_o we_o and_o to_o look_v on_o all_o thing_n as_o if_o they_o be_v already_o do_v according_a to_o god_n promise_n or_o our_o own_o desire_n so_o that_o our_o content_n may_v be_v in_o every_o thing_n as_o well_o as_o if_o we_o have_v all_o thing_n all_o thing_n be_v you_o say_v paul_n you_o be_v christ_n and_o christ_n be_v god_n there_o be_v a_o full_a enjoyment_n of_o all_o 4._o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n work_v also_o by_o direction_n direct_v of_o every_o soul_n who_o it_o have_v wrought_v the_o former_a effect_n in_o to_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n to_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n of_o his_o commandment_n whisper_v in_o every_o soul_n and_o say_v this_o be_v the_o
